Moving To A New Town Essay

Migrating from one place to another is never easy, especially when the overall experience and change is so drastic. Looking out the window and having everything change can be scary. For example, when I was just a lad, about eleven years old, I moved from the great big city of Athens, Georgia, to the little, big village called Perrinton, Michigan. Although it was very scary at first and I did not like the big change; I did not like the location, or the smell, or the fact that everyone called soda “pop”, or the fact that I had to beg my parents to drive so long in order to get anywhere. I eventually came to love being in the quietness and contentment the countryside gave me. From the research I have come across, it is quite apparent to me, that Perrinton has had many fans since day one. Welcoming people from all over, year after year with its festivals, a school, and little businesses. Many businesses started up and plenty of businesses burned down. Like many other small villages, Perrinton developed during time, and with time many things happened. Perrinton has seen many changes over the years to make it the village it is today.

It was a small town in Cornersville, Ohio. Nothing much ever happened in this small town until one day. A new family moved in one afternoon. Everyone was surprised because no one even noticed the house being built. Everyone was still delighted that they moved in because the couple, Bob and Nancy, were very friendly. Bob and Nancy helped with all the activities in town and were very generous. A couple of weeks after they moved in, a lot of strange things began. Money started disappearing, the lights in the town went out every night except for Bob and Nancy's lights, even people's pets went missing. One night, everyone's lights went out at 11:30 as usual, except there was an extremely loud noise. The neighbors went outside to see where all the

Many people choose to migrate to another country to pursue a better life where one can make more money with higher standard of living. However in the town Ticuani, located in Mixteca, Mexico, many people choose to “transnational” between their native country and United State, New york. Where one will spend sometime in New york and some other times in Ticuani, and their life will be moving back and for the between country. Even though this sound like an easy plan, but immigrant who did this had to adapt life from both countries and faces difficulties and problems from two places.

1. The impact is that people who migrate bring money back to the village. Along with the money they also bring new cultural ideas and myths about the places they’ve traveled.

It is always an adventurous and experience to explore new place. Moving to another country offers a new dimension. People move to a new country for various reasons, such as to live in freedom, to escape poverty or oppression and to make better lives for themselves and their children. However, what they soon begin to realize is that it is a whole new world out there and in order to survive they have to adjust to their new surroundings. It is never easy for anyone to just change the environment one has been used to for a long time.

Last, People move to be close to family and to people they know.People want to live with good friends. For example, people move out of bad neighborhoods so they can keep their family safe. Also they live close to family so they can still share all the fun times with them and have a more enjoyable life. This one doesn't relate to the Joads at all because the joads were already all together but they all went so they could stay together.

It was the hottest day of the year as we packed up a big U-Haul truck, and thats when it hit me this would be the last time I would lave Florida. Today I was moving from my home town, Lakeland, FL, to a town I would have to meet new people and start a new... school! "Alrighty, looks like we are all packed up and ready to hit the road" my mom said in a teary and shy voice. This day could not get any worse.

Furthermore social values and norms in the home country functions as a pull factor for migrating such as status among friends and family in their own local community.

In the period of this time,more and more people are considering moving out to another country.Meanwhile,more and more problems are found.People proclaimed that ethnic culture have been influenced them both physically and mentally.Therefore,how moving to another country affect people and how they feel when they return home has been a hot topic since 21 century.For me personally,i believe that moving to america makes me more independent and more creative.Moreover,i do more weight room here which makes me more muscular.Although there are a number of benefits here,i still feel that China is my actual home that i can always go back to.Therefore,i think that people are affected after they move to another country in different ways and most of them still feel comfortable and willing to go home.

People are moving from the city to another city or state, because they are not able to find a good job and get enough money. And most of them probably have kids and it’s hard and they need more money to buy needs for their kids. Most of us know someone who came here because someone told them that it was a nice

Growing up in a small town, with the knowledge of a small town community can have an effect on you. Having the respect and dignity to know between right and wrong adds and interesting aspects into a life style. Growing up in a small community makes you realize what it is like to have small class rooms and having your teachers know you by a first name basis.Knowing everyone on each sport team because “everyone knows everyone in a small town”. I had the ability to be able to ride my bike down the street without a real question of my safety where I grew up in Worland Wyoming. I have different academic interests than others may, I enjoy different extracurricular activities than other students, and life experiences that are unlike anyone else that have shaped me into who I am today.

Sometime people have the ideas and perception about the new place that they are going to move,

Maybe it is a new job, or the promise of seeing old friends. Moving is a perfect example of how pain and change can equal gain. Although difficult to accept, sometimes embracing the odd variation can be rewarding.

Packing up your life and belongings is a difficult task to do. My family lived in Apple Valley, MN, until the week before my 7th birthday. My parents told my younger brother and I that we were moving to Hastings, MN. I had no idea where that was as a child. I was excited about this new experience. I have always been interested in travelling. When we arrived in Hastings, it was nothing like my old town. I knew nobody, all I knew was that I lived in the middle of the woods. Moving to a different town isn’t just about the new house, it is also about making new friends at a new school, and living a different lifestyle.

The main aim of the study is to investigate the effect of rural-urban migration on four district of North West province.
