From the Top is a great organization which many individuals strongly support. This show takes place every Saturday. There is a host and young performers, mostly teens, which perform on camera and on the radio station. The host or even a famous musician introduces the performer. The performers perform, and then, (my favorite part), they comment on it afterwards. This commentary includes games, interviews with the host, and many more fun ways to engage with the young performers. Through this commentary you really learn a lot about the performers in a very fun way. The music performed by these teenagers is of a very high-level. I would expect these pieces to be performed by professionals that have been in the music industry for years upon years and yet these young children and young adults are performing these pieces with outstanding talent, surprisingly, like a professional might perform them. Through the performers’ facial expressions and …show more content…
Allegro, from the Sonata in F major, KV 370 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Firstly, I must say the passion shown in his music is outstanding for a 17-year-old young man. The host said he had a wonderful way of playing Mozart. Nicholas’ music teacher shared with him that Mozart was to be played light and to think of it as an aria, (art song), but he said he always had trouble playing light, therefore his rendition of Mozart as light and fun, but not as light as Mozart, would traditionally be performed. Nicholas shared his passion for teaching others and hopes to someday become a music teacher. Another interesting fact he shared with the host was his strange selection of the instrument itself. He comes from a long line of musicians that all play the clarinet, but when it was his turn to pick up and instrument he chose the oboe because he saw it as a
Despite what many individuals know about Mozart today, he excelled in instruments other than just the piano. Due to his father’s persistent teaching and influence, Mozart was able to grasp the understandings of the viola and the organ ("Wolfgang Mozart."). However, without Mozart’s father’s persistency, Mozart may have not been able to reach his full potential as a child prodigy. From early on in Wolfgang’s life he was able to compose opera’s to be performed for the entertainment of the nobility ("Wolfgang Mozart"). In the towards the end of the 1770’s Mozart started to realize that he had far more potential and

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart baptized as Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart lived from January 27, 1756 to December 5, 1791. Mozart was a very influential and prolific composer of more than 600 works, including symphonies, concertante, chamber, piano, opera, and choral music. Regarded as a child prodigy, Mozart composed and performed in the European courts from the age of five, and was engaged at the Salzburg court at 17. Mozart’s musical style can be classified as Classical, although he learned from many of his contemporaries throughout his musical career. In order to better understand Mozart’s genius it is best to begin looking at his earliest contributions to the musical world as a child. From there, an exploration of his
This paper discusses Mozart's life, his compositions and his importance to the world and the world of music. It explains how Mozart's music is still some of the most popular classical music played today and his life is still studied because his music is so well known and liked.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-91) is regarded as the greatest composer who ever lived. He began writing minuets at the age of 5,and by the time he died in 1791 at the age of 35, he had produced 626 cataloged works. “ Mozart has enriched the concerto form with a larger number of masterpieces than any other composer.”1
The interesting things that I learned about Wolfgang Mozart was that half of his symphonies that he created was between the age of eight and nineteen. He was given a nickname called “Wolfe”. It was funny to me that when he was a child he was afraid of the trumpet. When Mozart was performing in London when he was young, people could not believe that a young person like Mozart could be that talented, so they thought that he was dwarf. When he was fourteen, he performed Mitidate re di Panto and it was a successful performance for him. Mozart could understand the word of music but could not write words. Mozart spent most of his life traveling to perform his music. He wrote over 600 works and most of his writing that he did were pinnacis of symphonics,
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a very inspiring composer. He is a magnificent pianist, and has written many admirable pieces of music. While developing an outstanding music career, Mozart had a good life.
As he grew, Mozart’s talent and scope of influence as a musician and composer only intensified and the quality and sheer quantity of the music he left behind, following his untimely death, has allowed him to be regarded as one of the most influential composers of the Classical
The film is immediately introduced with an unseen abrupt and abrasive pane of music playing, then it stops. The frames that start off the movie are rather dark and atmospheric without making it seem threatening. Another harsh hit of music plays almost as if in warning. The mood is lightened up by Antonio Saleiri’s servants eating desert acting quite comical, but when the door opens, the lighting goes very dark again accompanied with the violent voice of a violin coming in, like a heart is bleeding. Music is basically the first character introduced in the film, as it itself, introduces the film. Throughout the story music is portrayed, whether it is supporting the scene or characters in the back round, or physically being played. In the long run, music is the cause for everything that happens.
Thesis: Wolfgang Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 in G minor has been admired and analyzed numerous times. Although it has been criticized by many, I believe deeply interpreting this piece will aid in a better understanding of the music during the Classical
Granted, the idea of preparing your child early for life is not a foreign idea. Sometime in 18th century, a famous musician that goes by the name Wolfgang Mozart received his musical education at a ripe age of four. At the age of 5 he was presented as a child prodigy and performed throughout Europe for his first musical tour. By age 6, Mozart was already performing for the Austrian royals at the Hall of Mirrors. Come to think of it, he started composing, singing, and playing for nobles before most kids started their education. It’s undeniable that Mozart had the talent, but he would not have known and exercised his genius without external guidance.
This chapter begins but stating exactly what it is going to be talking about which is telling about music, its importance through theories and then giving evidence. I think what it doesn’t tell you is the valuable knowledge that you will be taking away from the words you read. I know I am not the only one in this but the main thing that I remember taking away from the Mozart Effect is that when you have your child listen to Mozart in utero then they would be smarter than if they had not listened to Mozart. I think it is very interesting that this turned out to be false. The Mozart Effect only really proved ten minutes of extra skills and that there was no proof of any long-term effects. It turns out that the only real way to cause a long-term
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was probably the greatest genius in Western musical history. He was born in Salzberg, Austria on January 27, 1756. The son of Leopold Mozart and his wife Anna Maria Pertl. Leopold was a successful composer and violinist and assistant concertmaster at the Salzberg court.
Numerous composers were interesting to me although Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart stood out the most. The shape of the Enlightenment principles was of Mozart life and music. Mozart lived a strangely compressed life. During the last years of Mozart’s life, he lived in poverty, because he could not manage his finances, and struggle against the prevailing system of aristocratic. The music that Mozart wrote was for the royal court life. The Church and the royal courts treated the musicians like servants. He felt as if it was extremely difficult in living with the archbishop, he then traveled to Vienna to make his way on his own.
At the age of four, he could already learn a piece of music in half an hour. At five he was playing the clavier. At six years old, he started composing. At eight, he began writing his first symphonies. At 12 years old, he produced his first real operas – the German Singspiel and the Bastien und Bastienne. At 14, he set off for Italy to make his own way in being known as an opera composer. The rest as they say was history.
