Mrs. Maureen's Story Of Injustice By Toni Morrison

I think that Mrs. Maureen’s story is very emotional. I can imagine the fear Mrs. Maureen felt every time her daughter was in the pool. I understand the hard work parents of children with any kind of disability have to go through. I admire them because they overcome every challenge they have face in order to give their children a better quality of life. I think that there are different kinds of jocks, and in my personal opinion President Obama made that comment unconsciously. I am not justifying him; I think that every person must think twice before referring to any person of a minority group. I think that Mrs. Maureen has to know that her daughter is a warrior and this kind of comments just destabilize her spirit.
