“It's time to go on Mt Everest” my mom said her voice quivering. “Yay!” me and my cousin said loudly and happily yet scared but we were going to overcome our fear of the ride and do it. We got out our fast passes which is a card that you put 3 rides on ,and you get in the fastpass line for it and you get through the line super quick. But we were going to ride Mt Everest at disney's animal kingdom. Me and my cousin gabbi were so excited we were about to pop, so we got in line, the fastpass line we waited for 10 min to get on the ride. Me and my cousin got on the cart with each other, and our moms got in the cart behind us. The carts were brown and big with a seat belt and a big thing that goes over your head to keep you in. The ride started
Do you live outside of Israel, but want to participate in the struggle for Jewish religious freedom on the Temple Mount?
Snowboarding is a sport where you can just let yourself go and be with nature up on the snow-topped mountains. Banning snow is a crazy act but in 1992 on March 30 Syracuse, New York outlawed any more snowfall until December 24, 1992. Snowboarding brings many people together and is a really great way to take advantage of the snow. Even though snowboarding has not been around very long it has sparked a lot of debates and thrill for many people and come along way.
It was around 4:30 5:00pm on a Saturday when my Dad, Sister Ahlancya, Cousin Mycal, Best friend Gracie, and I were getting in the car after the dentist to go to the Ohio State Fair. When we got there we had to walk over to where the rides were because of where we parked. “Whoosh”, as the rides went past. [Attention Getter ] When I first came to Las Vegas in the summer of 2003, we visited the Lake Mead very often and knowing now of how much lower the water has gotten over the years has been quite shocking to me.
We both wanted to ride the same thing first so we stood in line and waiting to go on. When we got close to the front you could see the name of the ride it was called fire ball. That name just makes it seem fast the ride was a circle shaped of obesely its going to be fast. So finally they opened that little gate so we could enter, there was these steps you had to walk up then we sat the third seat from the front. Then the ride stared moving side to side it scare me I just sat there terrified and screaming that is how scared I was. How would you feel if someone stopped you from doing something you're really passionate about ? well There were two articles written about whether Mt.Everest should stay open , or if they should close it down for awhile because of some accidents that has happened . In my opinion I believe without a doubt people should be able to climb Mt. Everest because, people are trained to climb mountains and they have equipment to keep them safe from falling. Everyone has a hobby and it’s not fair to take away someone's hobby because other people aren't being safe .
At the end if you want to climb Mt. Everest it's on you. Many people know the effects of trying to make it to the summit. They know what happens if you body doesn't adjust to the high altitude, when your body drops below normal level, and if your mind is thinking about something else and whatever the case it can be very deadly. And for what just to take a picture on top of the mountain and tell your friends it doesn't seem that cool because you're talking about making it to the summit when you're missing a nose or worse your friends are telling your story because you're dead or missing on the mountain.
Almost four-thousand five hundred people have attempted to or actually have climbed Everest since 1953. Two hundred two of those who have attempted the climb have died. Climbing Everest is a dangerous feat. The mountain itself commands power and respect. It’s almost as if when climbers reach the summit it’s not because of their hard work and determination, it’s because the mother mountain allowed them too. Since Everest is such a perilous endeavor, should people continue to climb it? Should humans be allowed to conquer such beauty, prestige, and power? Should humans be allowed to stand at the top of the world, if only for a moment?
With millions of visitors each year, Yellowstone National Park is a huge tourist attraction to people from all over the world. But underneath its many geysers and hot spots, there is a big issue steaming below the surface. What some people may not know is that Yellowstone is actually sitting in one of the largest calderas in the world, and has been brewing for centuries. When and if it ever erupts, the effects could be enormous, but what if we find a way to prevent it? And what would the effects of that be?
Imagine yourself getting ready to rescue a climber stuck on top of a mountain. There you are in the helicopter reaching out to the distressed climber, but all of a sudden you fall down thousands and thousands of feet to your death. You just risked your life to save someone who was not ready. People putting their lives at stake for someone who was not ready is not acceptable.
We rode the adventure express and waited in line took like 30 min. Then i saw my sister cut us because she and her friend had a fast pass. I got so mad at her because she was bragging. Then a few min later we got on the ride and it was a nice ride to start it up then after that ride we went to go ride the flight of fear now that took us like 2 hours just to get on. while we were in line my sister passed by and told us that she rode like 5 rides already and this was going to be our 2nd. The flight of fear was fast and scary at first but then i got used to it and it was pretty
For example, using a leftover coffee can for loose nails or screws, or even washing and reusing a plastic zip-loc bag instead of throwing it in the garbage. Thrift shopping is a way of reusing someone else’s unwanted goods. As I spoke about in an earlier speech about thrifting, I included many locations and ways to thrift, also the benefits to the shopper and the donator. One place in particular was shopping at the local boys and girls club. I personally shop there, keeping my eyes open for a good deal. For example, the pair of jeans that I am wearing today was purchased from this store just a few months ago. I paid only $8.00 for this pair of Lucky Jeans and according to buckle.com, a retailer for lucky jeans the retail price is $99.00 that is a savings to me of $91.00.I am not the type to worry about name brands, but quality usually does cost more. If I can get a quality pair of jeans at a fraction on the price, I am glad to shop at the thrift store. I am thankful to the person that made the donation of the lucky jeans and they can benefit from that donation. According to the IRS webpage, IRS. Gov it explains that an individual can donate items like clothing, household furniture and furnishings, a car or boat, even taxidermy. The donations are appraised, by the donator, and recorded. At the time of filing taxes if the donation equals at least $500 for the year, the donator may take advantage of the
Then, my family and I went to Hershey Park as a birthday gift for me. At the entrance, I saw an enormous light blue and bright yellow water slide that almost looked like half of a tornado. It was a really hot day, the temperature was almost 87 degrees. We walked over to the water section, and I was amazed how big it was, It was like a pool with water slides for gods. My brother told me right away, “We must go on that slide,” and that was the moment I knew I would go on that gigantic water slide, I was relieved because I desperately needed a something to refresh myself, and I was scared. When I was waiting in-line I went up so many stairs, which took a while. Finally, I was where the slide started, My brother’s back was facing the slide and I was facing the slide on the tube. “Shahan, are you ready? ” My brother asked me,

Intro: Climbing Everest, going to this extraordinary place or that extraordinary place, breaking a world record. These all sound pretty great until you hear about the impact that these dreams have on others. Many people have tried to accomplish their unreasonable dreams and have not succeeded. They rely on rescue services to help them after they put themselves in danger. Despite that some people choose to earn a living saving others, people should not be saved when they put themselves at resc because of the cost there is to save others, that people still want to accomplish their dreams when they were inexperienced, and they they risk rescue service worker’s safety while they are being rescued.
