Statement of the Problem:
Technology has been evolving with us since the beginning of the Prehistoric age, from the simplest tools of the cave men to now in present future. Technology is very important in our society, without it we would not be able to survive in our ever changing society. We are living in a society which is called "technologically civilized" society. Every small work we do is technology dependent. Today every other person is recognized with the device or gadget, he carries; which is technically advanced. Ultimately, we can say that, “living without technology is like living without air" in this technical world of today. Therefore, we are much dependent on technology. Technology has been allotment of our activity and it

To design a low cost pay-parking and providing safe, accessible and sustainable facilities since this will be an open, public, parking area.
To plan a long term car parking space solution for users & operators that prevents a long queue of cars from forming at the entrance point. And providing traffic lanes as well as lifts for the disabled.
Design Considerations:
Functionality
The practicability of low-cost car parking facilities is important for the commercial sector. The design features used to make the car parking structure easier to operate and maintain, for example drainage, lighting. The portal function of a multi-storey car park frequently leads to a positive initial contact for visitors and customers.
Accessibility
Ramps:
The number and arrangement of the ramps, entrances and exits all depend on the size and length of the property, the number of parking levels, the user-frequency and the accessibility to public transport. The ramps slope at a maximum of 15%. The changes in slope are compensated with widened summit curves, which increase driver friendliness.
Staircases and lifts:
The
Parking shall comply with ANSI A117.1 and IBC regulations, including required number of accessible parking stalls. Per IBC Chapter 11, 5% of total parking spaces, but not less than 1 space, shall be made accessible. And for every six or fraction of six accessible parking spaces, at least one space shall be a van-accessible parking space.
Through utilization of the recently drafted Development Standards Section Ordinance, effects of open parking lots can begin to be mitigated. The draft DSS Ordinance requires emerging businesses
Another constraint for our building is parking. Whilst we do have a 50 space underground car park, this is never opened up to the exclusive use of our customers. When we explain that their elderly or disabled guests, or organisers (delivering flowers etc) will be permitted to use the car park, this usually overcomes any obstacles.
One in 25 parking spaces needs to be handicapped-accessible if your parking facility has 100 or fewer total spaces. The minimum accessible spaces should be increased by one at 101 total spaces and again at 151 spaces. For parking lots with at least 201 but no more than 500 spaces, increase the number
Though students are not the only ones suffering from the parking issue. According to the FIUSM Editorial, “FIU’s status as a commuter school should mean the University has enough parking spaces available to fulfill the need of its community. But, it doesn’t. The University’s parking problem is not just a student problem, it’s affects the community as a whole (FIUSM Editorial).” To get this point across I plan to use a solution argument to be able to properly state the solutions to the parking problem Florida International University has provided, and show the flaws that the services have within them and ways that we could better than to actually make an impact on the commuting students parking experience. I decided on this purpose because many people already know Florida International University has a parking issue, as well as many universities around the country, but to be able to offer them alternatives to be able to help the problem seems to be the best way to go rather than just informing them of what they already know
We decided to build a multi-story parking lot around the SAIT campus as there is less parking space for the students and it takes very long in the morning to find a parking space. So, the purpose of this project is to provide an idea to SAIT for building another parking lot for convenience of students. In order to do that we are going to perform Phase 1 and Phase 2.
Besides that, the parking bay is considered one of Suria KLCC’s products. It is because of it providing
The construction of Parking Structure V temporarily will eliminate 709 parking spaces in Lot 1. Faculty and staff will have to resort to Parking Structure I, right by John Smith Field. Student spaces will be created in the Ramona Parking Lot. However it is encouraged for students and faculty to find alternative transportation during the Fall of 2017 during construction. There are various options for transportation such as the light rail, the bus, riding a bike, the Hornet Express, and carpooling, which will help the flow of traffic, and reduce parking
The current parking pass provided by Computershare for parking at 701-799 Magazine St, is an inconvenience as well as a security risk for all employees. This suggestion addresses some of the issues such as, employee safety, employee satisfaction, and the difference between Computershare and ADECCO monthly parking.
There are currently only a handful of reserved spaces on campus, and the ground has yet to be broken for the construction of the parking deck. In fact, Winthrop University does not even have all the funds needed to build this parking deck. When I approached Jack Allen, of Campus Police, with my idea of reserved parking spaces, he told me that he thought it was a good idea. Walter Hardin, when given the same idea, seemed to think that the reserved parking system would not realistically work out but was open to the proposal.
Agreeing on that fact that there were no places for parking, the next year the car park could be expanded. There is no security in the streets and because of this many people had to park they cars outside “Mistura”
When you own a business, you are always considering risks. Your goal is to mitigate risks that can threaten your business profits while taking advantage of opportunities that maximize profits. Unfortunately, many business owners who run retail establishments miss an opportunity to eliminate threats to their business, like failing to restore a damaged parking lot.
We were requested to write a report for a client that are looking to build a new parking garage in the Bloemfontein area. The client also requsted from us to not just advise him/her on what type of concrete to be used, but also to give him/her a broad understanding of the different types of concrete. Some of the aspects that will be discussed in this report are as follows:
Most of the installations include medium or bad partial services like restaurants and shops. Many restaurants moved from the city to the area of the express way to follow traffic. In fact, Informal and illegal service stations are now dominating service delivery and they are very close to road and cannot be moved back because of obstacles behind it parking, especially of trucks needs management and repair. Most of the parking of trucks is obstructing movement and activities. The installation along the way slows traffic unnecessarily on a high speed Expressway, distracts drivers, and in effect removes
Just before entering the courtyard of the monastery complex there is a parking space. A
