O.J Simpson’s murder case is known to be one of the most famous murder cases of all time. The case is about the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman being stabbed to death. The murder case was a criminal trial held at the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California, the trial lasted from November 2, 1994 to January 24, 1995. The former professional football star and actor O.J Simpson as tried on two counts of murder, the death of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and waiter Ronald Lyle Goldman, in June 1994. The police accumulated enough evidence indicating Simpson’s guilt in the murders and placed a warrant for his arrest. On July 22, 1994, Simpson was asked the question in the Courtroom, “How do you plead.” He followed this question with the statement, “Absolutely one hundred percent not guilty, Your Honor.” On October 3, 1995 the jury’s verdict stated “We the jury in the above entitled action find the defendant, Orenthal James Simpson, not guilty of the crime of murder.” I believe that with evidence provided, O.J. Simpson should have been prosecuted. Aristotle defines “the supreme good as an activity of the rational soul in accordance with virtue.” I agree with this quote because I do not believe that O.J Simpson is a virtuous person. A virtuous person is some one who conforms to the moral and ethical principles of life. I do not think that O.J Simpson did the moral thing in killing his ex wife and the waiter.
