Video Lecture: How to use the Mustang Card The purpose of the video lecture is to inform Southwest Minnesota State University students about the Mustang card the three main functions which are Mustang Money, Dinning Dollars, and US Bank Debit Card. Also to inform students how to add money to each account and where to use the money properly on campus. The audience is SMSU current and future students, parents, or general public. I decided to make a video lecture on how to use the Mustang Card because when I was a freshman I got confused with the difference between Mustang Money and Dinning Dollars. For this project I started by going to the Mustang Center where I received pamphlet with a list of what each account offers. Also I learned I could …show more content…
We started by making sure the student workers at the Mustang Card Center and Mustang Zone were okay with us recording and making a video. They both agreed. We started recording in front of the Mustang Card Center stating the purpose of the video. I brought a check to add money to my Mustang Card for the first time. The student worker informed me my money would be added to the account right away. Next Julia and I went to the vending machine in the Upper Student Center to record and get action shots of me using my newly added Mustang Money on the vending machines. Then we went to the Mustang Zone to check out a movie for the long weekend and for the video process. After getting footage over the lunch hour of the Mustang Card Center, vending machines, and Mustang Zone we stopped for the afternoon. Next I started editing the clips on Movie Maker and noticed it was hard to hear me while recording the in busy Student Center with the noise of people and the background music. So I decide to finish record in a study room in the library so it was quite with no music or distraction of other people. Recording in the library worked much
Dialog was the first sound recorded, there was quite a lot of dialog involved and it would need to be recorded at the right level as it will be the loudest part of the sequence. When recording vocals I set up the microphone appropriately, this meant positioning the microphone at roughly the same height as my chin. The microphone also needed to be close to my mouth, if I was too far away it wouldn’t be loud enough meaning the volume would have to be amplified which would also amplify all the unwanted noises around. A pop filter was also used, I simply moved it into the correct position before saying my lines. A pop filter is used to stop the popping noise that can be accompanied by saying certain letters such as p. Once the microphone was set up the lines were recorded, this was helped by having a TV playing the video so I could get my timings perfected. One issue that did occur was putting the emotion into certain sections, I found this hard at first as the recordings came out stale with no feeling. To fix this I redid the dialog a few times and tried to treat it more as acting than speaking. The final sections of dialog came out much better than the previous but there is still clear room for improvement when it comes to the

I believe a good mentor should have the ultimate goal of successfully teaching the student, meanwhile, guiding them properly in a manner in which he/she learns by themselves. In the National Honors Society, I have participated in a program called “Mustang Buddies”.
For this assignment, my task was to generate characters we will use in the stop motion video. Not only was it necessary to create the character and to have them look distinctive. It was also required to make expressions and different movements in order for the characters to move in the video. From that, I had at least 8 expressions for each character, to make the stop motion more realistic. Other than that, I think our group worked well together; once we all knew what to do to produce the final product, the process of our work progressed though the end of it.
Our overall plan was to flat out have the interviews that we had and record them with the old school song mary jane. Once we continued to collaborate we decided on a more image approach. The challenges after the thought out plan where everyone putting in the work for editing the video. Charles didn’t help that much other than recording himself for the voice over. Alanna and Takiyah both put the work in to get the video looking nice. The transitional effects that we used in the video was so that we could make it less choppy and flow

2. Be objective. You should not jump to premature conclusions. Only record what you actually see or hear not what you think or feel. For example, the statement “The child cried “ is objective, but to say “ The child is sad “ is
The 1960s were the golden years for American auto manufacturers such as Chevy, Ford and Chrysler. With cheap gas prices at 30 cents and the roads open, americans had the need for speed. The americans need for speed was met by such cars as the Mustang , the camaro, and the super charged Road Runner. The 1960's automobiles belonged to a distinct decade of automobile history with the muscle and pony cars.

This past week was a very important week, as my group and I filmed most of our sports documentary scenes. And although we have not finished yet, I think we as a group were more effective and focused on our work than we were last week. Before we started filming, I reserved two different locations for my group: the outside field on Monday, and a classroom on Tuesday. I did this after talking with them and making sure that this would be in their interest. When I brought my soccer ball the next day, I was expecting that we would get the whole class period to film. That didn’t happen, and I was reminded once again that you should always plan for setbacks. In addition to reserving space and bringing equipment, I explained Newton’s Laws of Motion
The branded product at the heart of the SLP is the Ford Mustang. The Mustang was first introduced in 1964 and has become one of Ford's most iconic brands (Damian, 2006). Automobiles in general are a good subject for the study of branding because the car itself changes every year, but the brand does not. Over time, specific brands become associated with particular attributes, in terms of product category, positioning, price, and in the case of cars their styling, design and the lifestyle attributes that are associated with that vehicle. The Mustang has gone through roughly five iterations, and is currently in its fifth generation (Markus, 2010).
A highly popular muscle and sports car, the Ford Mustang functions as a daily driver, weekend warrior, and a show winning work of mechanical art. Whether someone just needs a basic transportation to get from point A to point B, an eight second quarter-mile beast, or a show stopping work of power and beauty, Ford has produced a Mustang for every need.
Financial literacy is essential in living in today’s society, therefore it should be taught at a young age because people have been going bankrupt more than ever before. According to Kelly Walsh, “Students between ages 18-25 have at least one credit card. By the time they graduate half of them have four or more credit cards that have an average balance of $3,000” (Walsh). If students were taught at a younger age how credit cards actually work; they would better understand the consequences of debt. For instance, if students were to research different credit
I was well prepared and told my parents that I was recording a podcast and that they needed to be as quiet as possible. I tried to be as professional as possible when recording, I installed a program for my computer just for this podcast and set up a microphone to make the experience better. I was trying my hardest to make sure that the technology was in the right place and that I was in the right spot for the microphone to pick me up. I tried to make it seem like it was a podcast atmosphere, talking softly, being relaxed, and talking about books and how they were intertwining with global contexts that were in the book and expressed throughout the entire book. I feel like I tried my hardest to make it seem like a good project and very professional because I am not very artistic and was not interested in doing a movie trailer because that was not ninth grade material. I feel like the podcast is a ninth-grade level project and especially tying my global context into my book, A Man Called Ove. I spaced my work out pretty well. I also tried not to procrastinate as much as
Many financial institutions across the world have adapted to the change towards the cashless society by implementing electronic funds transfer via automated teller machines (ATM’s) and of late, the internet. By having a simple plastic card, society could completely eliminate the need for cash. The benefits range from the end user through to the government and the
