One of my most cherished thoughts is that all goals are in grasp if you can work hard enought and long enought you can achieve them. I also believe with dedication any person can reach what they dreamed about.
What's mine is yours. Having lived a year in a student hostel I understood this phrase was the best to describe my first year student life. We shared everything: all of bright spots, all of difficult moments, all of the books and all of the cakes. My roommates are my best friends now and I trust them as I would myself. I believe amazing adventures and close friendship are waiting for us too! Also I believe, my dear roommate, you’ll get at least one new hobby living with me. I promise I’ll share to you with my frenzy for mountains. Oh, that’s really amazing! I’m a participant of the university tourist all around team(sports tourism university team member) and every weekend we get to go to incredibly picturesque places of Zailiyskiy Alatau.
With a year full of hurdles I was set to overcome, senior year did not seem like the right time for me to defeat my dragon. My introverted qualities have grown tremendously over the course of my life due to traumatic events I have been forced to face on my own. Since adolescence, I have always been known as the “quiet girl” in the room. I always took this as a compliment, until recently, when I realized I was missing out on crucial events that would help prepare me for the future. Through careful consideration, I decided that senior year would be the ideal time to slay my dragon, introversion.
As a freshman in high school, I had the worst grades in Biology, English and Math. I was struggling in English and Biology because of my poor English-language skills. I was new to the United States, and that made the transition difficult. However in math I was just being lazy and I did not want to put in the effort needed to get a decent grade.
Last year, I received a commendable G.P.A of 4.4. This proves that I not only take difficult courses like Honors and Ap classes, but also contribute great amount of hard work and dedication to overcome those challenges and succeed. Other than my transcript, I received man recognition for my academic achievements. I attended many Honor Rolls and received Academic Letter Award every year. In addition, I also participated in competitions, like Junior Math Leagues, Science Fair, and NHD(National History Day), to test my knowledge in academics. I competed in the Science Fair and won first place in school division. In NHD, I have received first place in school, district, and state competition. By participating in these competition, it motivates me to strive higher. Lastly, I am a member of NAHS(National Art Honor Society), NSHS(National Spanish Honor Society), NMHS(National Math Honor Society), and Tri M Music Honor Society. This demonstrates my high interest and excellence in all four subjects: Art, Spanish, Math, and
Throughout my academic career, my grades and accomplishments have always been of extreme importance to me. To keep up with my goals, for example, making honor roll every quarter, I have taken steps and faced setbacks that have enabled me to see the big picture rather than focusing on the little issues that could discourage me from reaching those goals. To make the honor roll at my high school means obtaining a 3.5 grade point average or above for the entire quarter. As a freshman, I made it my goal to meet this standard throughout my complete high school career. To do this, I studied hard for every one of my classes, always did my homework, and put in as much effort as I could; I gave it my all. Through tough classes and staying up all night
Throughout my three years at Barnegat High School I have strived to be a respectful, responsible and influential student and athlete. I have worked hard to stand out among my peers, be dedicated to everything I do, work towards achieving my personal goals and positively influence those around me. As an individual and a young adult, I believe it is the responsibility of younger generations to work towards being the best version of ourselves we can possibly be and positively contribute to others and our community. Overall, I aspire to be a well rounded individual and character that demonstrates the qualities of respect, citizenship, and responsibility.
What was one of your extensive school accomplishments? I got the music award In 4th grade. In middle school, I got the awards. In middle school, I got the a-b honor roll award and kindness award.I think all schools should have awards such as : the music award, a-b honor roll, and kindness award these are the awards I am most noble of.
Being nominated for the National Honor Society is a great honor itself. It has shown that I have worked very hard in school and stand out from my peers. In the past years, I strived to do more than just get good grades. Not only do I have a weighted 4.1 GPA, but I also am involved in Speech and Debate, PJAS, DECA, and tennis. I have also won awards in those activities such as the scholar athlete award and placed 4th in DECA, and 1st at PJAS regionals. I have taken rigorous classes, and plan on continuing this in the future. I have also held leadership roles. After school, I have helped many peers that struggle with math. I also volunteer in the community. I have volunteered in many events at Asbury Woods Nature Center. I also help
My biggest personal achievement I am most proud of would be getting selected for my district's Middle School Pathways Program. It is a program in which 7th graders are taught the 7th and 8th grade Math curriculum in one school year, essentially preparing them to take Algebra 1 in 8th grade. As a B grade student in the 5th grade the requirements of the program; a 6th grade math teacher recommendation, a Math grade of A, on all trimester report cards, and a score in the top 10% on the end of year 6th grade district benchmark assessment, the idea of being selected seemed a little close to nearly-impossible. Even though the chances seemed little to none I set a goal to be accepted and I was able to follow through with it. The reason as to why
An achievement is a thing done successfully, typically done by effort, courage, or skill. Every individual has their fair share of achievements accomplished. Accomplishing these achievements help our self-esteem and help us grow mentally. The last time I accomplished something great was when I received the Top Scholar award in the fifth grade. It was a very intense year. The Top Scholar award is a very prestigious award that is given to the person who worked the hardest throughout the year. There were many times where I just wanted to give up and just settle for second place. However, my mother, family, teacher and friends kept urging me to never give up. At the end of the year, I was awarded the Top Scholar award for my class. I felt like I had truly accomplished something great. The Top Scholar award was the greatest achievement I’ve received because the award taught me to never give up, reflected my potential, and helped me develop great skills.
Throughout the course of freshmen year I have developed different skills and opinions on writing. I feel I have created a more mature style of writing and a better understanding of literature. I have changed my view of writing over this semester and acquired a strong liking for it. The importance of writing has become more visible throughout the past few months. Writing is crucial in many aspects of a person’s life. I have grown to be a more powerful and well built writer throughout this course.
This evoked a question in my mind: what is my greatest accomplishment? I am an avid golfer, and I qualified for state my junior and senior year. I have won many tournaments and received the honor of Times Daily’s Golfer of the Year. But I do not consider this my greatest accomplishment. I do not think I have a great achievement yet. Everything I have done so far dulls in comparison to Ben Franklin. I concluded that I need to find something and work hard at it. I do not believe college will be my great accomplishment. Millions of people graduate every year. It is ordinary. I want a different goal to achieve. One that is uncommon. I believe finding that goal will be half of my greatest
With my experience of middle school so far, I think I've accomplished most of my goals in an orderly manner. For these accomplishments may not have turned out as I expected. One accomplishment was in sixth grade. Three friends and I entered into the curie math bowl. I've studied for this test, and it turns out that our team won second place for the group section of the bowl. I find it a great accomplishment because it was the first time I've ever gotten an award.
Never did I think in my high school career, I would be able to make an major impact in my school that would continue years after I am gone. Last year, I had the opportunity to participate in a competition called Adcap, sponsored by a German company Systems, Applications, and Products also known as SAP; consisting of schools from all over the state. With hard work and dedication I was honored to get first place and win a thousand dollar grant to improve my high school in any way I desired.
