My best day ever was when my brother was born. It was also when my sister was born but I was to young to remember that. My brother, Colin was born July 25, 2011. I was in 1st grade when it happened, It July 18,2011 and thats when my Mom and Dad said my sister and I would be staying at my Nana and Papa’s house for the week. My sister wasn't to happy about having a brother because she really wanted a sister to dress up and play princess with. I was exited about a brother because I really liked playing in the mud, so that gave me a chance to do that with a brother. My sister and I where jumping up and down in our seats exited to spend the weekend with our grandparents. Once we arrived my nana gave my mom a basket filled with goodies for the baby. My Mom’s stomach was to big for hugs so my Nana just gave her kiss. My Mom’s parents lived in Massachusetts so they weren't there to watch us or see the baby for a while. My Papa carried our stuff inside and brought them to our room. My Mom kissed me and my sister on the cheek and my Dad gave us a big bear hug, and then they drove off to the hospital. My Nana had picked up some crafts for us to do while my parents where gone so we decided to get right to it. My Papa and I made vanilla cupcakes while my Nana and sister where painting pictures of animals. I was seven at the time and my sister was five so we enjoyed watching Cinderella and Snow White every night before bedtime and every morning during breakfast. Our favorite thing
When I was about 4 years old my parents gave me the news that I was going to have a baby brother. At first I dint know what to think or say mostly because I dint know what the meant. Shortly after my mom gave birth to my little brother Adrian, he is now 10 years old and in the 5th grade.
We had been at the hotel for about thirty minutes when we got the call from the lobby that they had arrived and were on their way up the elevator. The three of us scrambled in excitement waiting to hear a knock at the door. Finally there is a knock at the door and my dad rushes to the door and opens it. We see a woman, his foster mother, holding a baby boy, at the door. She carried him in and laid him on the bed. We all walked over and admired the baby. I was the first one to sit down and hold my new baby brother.
There is one day that will always stick out in my mind. I was down at the Wabash River with my family and friends celebrating Labor Day. I was doing what any second grader would be doing, riding my bike, enjoying the outside. I had no care in the world while I was riding my bike. I only cared about two things, having fun and the wonderful weather.
That morning I was so happy and filled with excitement. I came into school and everyone was happy to see me. Even people I barely knew were happy to greet me with a sincere birthday congratulations. It was awesome because I had so many new friends and all of us were joyful on that day.
A memorable day for me is when I went to six flags. I got to ride the Texas Giant; I got to eat Funnel Cakes, Chicken on a stick, and Nachos. I had a good time with my family.
The single best day I had has a child was when my mom said that she had a surprise in mind for vacation. She didn’t say what it was but said that my brother and I would love it we took a long drive to St. Louis, Missouri to visit the Gateway Arch. This was an unexpected surprise visiting a museum it was a great time waster but my mom said that this wasn’t the surprise. The next day we went to the big surprise which was Six Flags. The first thing that we did there was visit the water park which had a multiple attractions that you had to at least try all of them. Then we went to the Main Park which had of kinds of rides my favorites being the Batman ride and superman ride that they had. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and the single best
This was an event that I still recall vividly. I was then only 12 years old and when I saw my brother for the first time, I became the happiest big brother in the world. I was the only son of my parents and when I heard that I would have another sibling, I got very excited and I was counting days when this brother of mine will come. I speculated and imagined lots of things I would do with my sibling. On the day that my brother came in to the world was one of the happiest days of my life.
The first thing we did after we were all settled was walk down to the beach, which was luckily about 15 seconds down the pathway outside our beach house, and played in the sand, walked up and down the beach and looked out for dolphins. After we were done on the beach, we went back to the beach house for a rest, and then watched some TV. Later on that evening, my mom and dad went out to get some food, and Mexican food and some drinks. My mom dished up the food and drinks, and we sat down with a movie. We watched the movie Ted, which was a bit inappropriate, but it was still very funny. When all of us were finished with our food, and the movie was over, my mom pulled out the couch bed for me, my sisters and my parents went to there beds, and then we went to
The best day of school that happened to me was that when I was in sixth grade. We got to go to Hershey Park for a field trip. I am choosing Hershey Park because I got to spend time with my best friends. Audrey, Hailey, Macie (my sister)! Just in case you don’t know what Hershey Park is I will tell you what it is. So Hershey Park is a park that is like 10 times bigger than Del’ Grossos! It was so pleasant! So, now I am going to tell you what my friends and I did there.
The day my son was born was the best day in my life. I was changed with Happiness. I got less sleep that day because of all the things going on. To be nervous is an understatement in this case. I was over come with nerves with the birth of my son, That day was a special day had changed me forever. I will always remember that day and the birth of my wonderful son. In the end I was a great day and I would never change
The summer before I went into the sixth grade my mom took my two sisters Natalie and Liberty, my brother Derek and I to Chicago for a family trip. We drove for a long 8 hours. My mom picked Chicago because that is where she was born and raised. She also wanted us to know where she lived and know about her childhood. When we arrived in Chicago, the first thing we did was go to the neighborhood my mom lived in with her adopted family and where my grandparents lived. My mom cried a little because it had been so long since she had visited her old house. After that we went and checked into our hotel and went to dinner at a steakhouse. Then once we were done eating we went to a car show.
That day was the best day of my life and I will not forget a moment of it. My life felt officially complete and having my son has made me a much better person. My outlook on life has changed and he is who I live for now. Everything I will do will
My mom was actually due on my birthday, which I wasn’t too happy about but it was not the end of the world. We began shopping for baby clothes, seeing ultrasounds, having a baby shower; it was all becoming real. The doctors told her she would be having a caesarian section on December 7th, a day before my birthday. When the day
Throughout my life, there were many days that were significant; however there is only one day that stands from the rest. The most important day of my life is the day I graduated high school. Graduating high school was an emotional day because I felt prepared to exit one stage of my life and optimistic for the next step in my life.
Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my drivers' license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received from it that still exist today.
