After 14 years, the sequel to the romantic comedy ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding’ is back at the Box-Office.
The sequel of this Canadian-American romantic comedy hit, ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2’ is better and a bigger treat for fans.

"Toula" Portokalos, the protagonist steals the centre space once again. She is still married to her non-Greek partner and is now a wretched mother of a teenage 16-year old girl, of whom she is afraid to lose in the dark world.
Paris (Elena Kampouris) is in sync with the character of a daughter, who just wants a single chance to isolate herself from her big Greek family and her mother.
In addition, the author helps the reader understand the selfishness of the mother when the reader finds out she have stole the Persian Carpet “several months before” (230) the divorce and puts the blame on Ilya, the poor blind man. Furthermore, the visit of the children is supposed to signal a fresh start for the family. The mother even emphasizes she wants the girls to come “live with [them]” (229). Yet again, even if they meet in order to reunite, characterized by a situational irony, they see themselves separated because of her mother selfish decisions.
Elena is a strict and ridged woman who takes total control of her girls’ lives particularly her youngest daughter Tita. “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” stars Nia Vardalos as Toula Portokalos, a 30-year-old daughter in a Greek family living in a city. The movie opens with Toula’s father, Gus Portokalos (Michael Constantine), picking her up in a rain storm and telling her she needs to get married because she is getting old. Toula then recounts her childhood, telling of the difficulties involved with growing up in a Greek family. Toula’s life has been less than stellar to this point, but that all changes when Ian Miller (John Corbett), a teacher at a local school, walks into her parent’s restaurant. It is love at first sight for Toula, but she is too awkward and nervous to converse with the handsome stranger. He leaves.
She also saves her pride and arrogance as the Choragos remarks, “Like father, like daughter: both headstrong, deaf to reason! She has never learned to yield.” She had many chances to prevent her demise but her pride stood in the way. Through the progression of scenes leading to her tragic ‘fall’, she is every bit of the woman she was at the beginning.
Being strong and independent women no longer matters as the men that they will call their husbands enter their lives. Lesego and Kegoletile both represent the male figures and the change that Life and Neo must endure as they conquer marriage. Lesego represents the authoritative male that is respected by all the people of the rural village for his wealth and judgment. Life is attracted to
The film Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a parody of Arthurian stories. It is a film that is not very elaborate on special effects, costumes and such as it even includes invisible horses with coconuts to mimic the sound of the “galloping” horses. All which indicate the low budget set on the production of the film. Although, the quality of the film does not suffer with it’s low budget since this adds uniqueness and more comical pieces to the film. The concepts triggered in the film come from elements of the Arthurian legends. The elements are concepts related to the education, health of the time, code of chivalry, divine rights, Christianity and social division.
In my opinion, the author, Ruta Sepetys, moves the novel in an interesting fashion. I liked how there are many characters and how there is a lot of things happening. The author kept the reader interested at all times throughout the novel. The author, Ruta Sepetys, who writes historical non fiction books just as this novel, was born the daughter of a Lithuanian Refugee which may have influenced her to write this very novel. It is geared in a positive way due to Joana, a main character in the novel, helping to portray this with her nursing skills. Seeing the book in the Character of Joana’s eyes affects the overall novel in many different ways. Some may be on Joana’s good side and others may be on her bad side.
Paris shows more of a greedy personality rather than a needy one. He is afraid of being conspired, once people find out about witchcraft in his household. He does not want to lose his position as minister of Salem, but his selfish ways get in his way. He lied to the court about not seeing naked dancing in the woods. He was very hesitant and embarrassed to tell about himself being broke because Abigail stole his money. He tries to seem more sincere by asking Danforth to post pone the hanging. Does not want specific citizens
No one could compare to Bill Murray’s portrayal of a slightly crazy groundskeeper, who exhaustive quest to capture the groundhog was hilarious. They added too many new characters and definitely too many comedians to the mix for this sequel. You know what the say, too many cooks ruin the stew, this couldn’t be more evident in the actors who were tripping over each other ‘s lines in order to get a laugh. They need to stick have stuck to the physical comedy of the first movie and not relied so heavily on what they obviously considered big name attractions.
In the original Bad Moms there are three moms who are tired of having to be the “perfect mom”, so they start doing things that are fun to them such as going out to the bars, partying, and dating again. In A Bads Moms Christmas it shows the same moms who like to go out and party, but this time hosting Christmas while their moms come home. This movie being the second in the sequel demonstrates bright colors, uses good camera techniques as well as hinting towards the original Bad Moms. Having these three aspects in the movie is important because it hints towards what the movie is going to be about, as well as getting the viewers even more interested on what they will watch. A Bad Moms Christmas successfully keeps their viewers interested throughout the trailer with the use of having bright colors, long and short camera angles, as well as relating this movie to the original movie.
Honestly, I’m starting to wonder if there should be a law against creating sequels to horrible predecessors. I know. I know. That’s ridiculous. But that doesn’t change the fact that nobody asked for another Ride Along. The first film was cheesy, unimaginative, and the partnership between Kevin Hart and Ice Cube was mediocre at best. At the same time, though – the cop comedy managed to gross a little more than $150 million worldwide, produced against a conservative budget of $25 million.
Magic Mike XXL, the sequel to the film Magic Mike that was released in 2012, is hilariously entertaining furthermore, the eye candy isn't inadequet either. Channing Tatum returns hotter than ever and ready for the big "stripper reunion" in Myrtle Beach, SC. Consequently, while I am never a big fan of sequels I have to say that at least this part two, creates its own story with just scant references to the first movie. This makes Magic Mike XXL equally entertaining for those who saw part one and those who did not see the original.
Agata, a young married mother, is consumed daily by her unhappy marriage and an almost obsessive infatuation for an unreachable man, while Iza, a frigid school Principal, after six long years of a secret affair with the father of one of her students, battles with rejection and craves closure.
The resentment within the young girl’s family is essential to the novel because one can understand the young girl better as she makes her decision.
I personally would very much want to see the film again. Absolutely it was such a great film. I mean in my opinion it wasn’t perfect but it was still a great movie and I would watch it again in a heartbeat .It had great examples of action and a great portrayal love.
