It was a cold rainy night much like any other until we pulled up at a stoplight and all the sudden the unthinkable happened. All the sudden my car was propelled forward with so much force I had no idea what just happened. I was so shaken it took me a minute to realize what happened, my mom was yelling at me thinking I had hit something but it was the other way around. I had just been rear-ended. Thank goodness no one was injured and there was minimal damage to the vehicles. We went through all the steps of exchanging insurance and getting the police report filled. It wasn’t until I calmed down and stopped shaking that I realized something. Well about a year ago my step dad had accidently backed into the back of my car. There wasn’t enough
His head hit the windshield. I had such bad wipe flash that I passed out for a minute. When I woke up I saw the truck reversing of my hood. I got out to see if he was okay. He was fine. I processed to ask him for his license and insurance card. He got out of the truck and gave it to me then he walked away. I took pictures. Then took picture of my demolished car. He walked back over to me to get his License and insurance card back. He thought it would be a great idea to ask me to delete the pictures and he would pay me a thousand bucks for the damages. Out of anger and shock I said "NO! Get the fuck away from me." An that is exactly what he did. He got into his truck and left the accident seen. I then called the cops. Forty-five minutes later the cops finally showed up. The cops asked me what happened and a bunch of other questions. One of the officers did not believe that I was in and accident and said "How do I know you didn't just drive your car here and just don't like this guy." I was appalled.
During our first run Taylor and I noticed that the car was turning way to the left. So in order to fix this we started our car as far to the right of the track as possible. After our first trials we realized that we needed to fix our string. We needed to cut the string we had attached off of our car and make a new one. When we made a new one me made it a little bit longer than the car and only hot glued it to the hook, not to the frame. Our new string had a loop in the end of it so we could put that on the toothpick. So now we understood that the toothpick did have a real purpose and we couldn’t glue the string to the mousetrap. After we made these changes we ran our car three more times.
I just could not believe what happened. My night was going so good, then all of a sudden it turned into a nightmare. The entire ride home I just stared out the window at the pitch black sky. My dad and I never spoke a word the whole time. When we approached the place where I wrecked, I tensed up and closed my eyes. It made me sick to my stomach to see the truck upside down. The next thing I knew we were pulling into my driveway. When I got inside, I hugged my dad and told him I loved him and I was sorry for what happened. I then did what the nurse said and went in the shower. As I stood in the shower with the warm water hitting my face, the accident kept playing over and over in my head. With all of the glass and dirt washed out of my hair, I went to bed. It was beyond relaxing to lay in my bed. I layed there for a few moments, then slowly drifted to
“Were that the cars that rushed into the smoke? Did they got lost while driving? How they caught fire so fast? Did everyone survive?” I thought at that moment. Tried to find the answer but too afraid to ask them.
One of the most important events that happened in my life was just recently, and that was buying my second car. This thought process was in the making for quite a while, considering that I was getting tired of taking my silver Hyundai Elantra in the garage every four months for repairs. For that reason, it made sense that it was time for a new car or a used one, I did not care which all I cared about was that it had to be a manual transmission. In addition, the fact that I outright hate going car shopping, I put it off and off until this past January. Since my mom had surgery that month, she was home and could go car shopping for me, well searching on the computer shopping. Since she was doing that, I did not have to worry about it and she knew what I wanted for a car.
In conclusion, my 1st car was a bust traveling 9.8 cm/s, my 2nd car did pretty well traveling 35.86 cm/s, but wasn’t built very well and lastly my 3rd car was the most successful, traveling 50.16 cm/s. Over the time that I worked on this project my skills really did advance. In the beginning, I was clueless and now, with the materials, I could make another car in a day. I learned a lot from trial and error.
The first time I drove. So, my grandmother decided to risk here life to teach me to drive for only two blocks. And my grandmother was a horrible teacher because she is used to standard cars and not automatic, so she puts her feet on both the gas pedal and the brake. Anyways, I can't believe that the car seems to go so fast and I was only going 5 mph! And then, I didn't know how to brake and my grandmother almost hit her head on the dash! Luckily, we made it
SLAMMM! We hit drivers side of the other guys car and both of are airbags went out. Everyone ended up being ok. My Mom and I were having a little trouble getting out of the car. I had to call 9-1-1. But, I couldn’t find her phone or my phone so some other guy that saw it called. When the police came the ambulance came right behind them and the police and the guy is probally in a lot of trouble because they found out that the guy was very drunk and the guy told the police that he just came back from the bar/friends house. The guy had to get out threw the passenger side because the driver door wouldn’t open. My mom and I didn’t go to the hospital but the other guy did because we think he had alcohol poison. We ended up getting a tow truck to tow the car to the auto body shop and then he dropped us off at our house. Than we called my dad and told him what happened and he came home from work to make sure we were ok. This was a very bad accident and I hope I will never see or be in one ever again.
At sixteen, I received my first job, and by the age of seventeen, I purchased my first car. While the car was only worth about $200.00, I gave the seller $1200.00. Along with overpaying, the car did not have a title of ownership. When I first purchased this car, I had the understanding with the seller that the vehicle had a salvage title, but only a bill of sell was given with the car. However, this was still not my worst experience with this automobile. From the inside to the outside, to under the hood, and even on paper, this car was an illegally procured nightmare.
Saturday had big plans with my family and didn't realize that I was supposed to go to azteca practice. I was so emotionally crushed I felt like my soul was being crushed by an evil elephant from hell, quitting was the only thing on my mind at that point. The drive there was so depressing i felt like eating a bullet just the thought of canceling my plans for this gave me aids the car drive there felt like it was in slow motion and the fact that my friend benito was driving made it that much worse since he drives slower than my grandma, it seemed like everything was black and white and the that was blasting in the car seemed nonexistent. once we showed up i regretted going just that much more since only about half the dancers even showed up I
It was somewhere between a t-bone and a head-on collision. Everything was in slow motion as debris flew right before my eyes, the force of impact stole my breath. I only regained my breath and my voice after the collision. As soon as I caught my breath, a truck, other than the one that struck me, sped off. I yelled for help, and two people from Taco Bell came to my rescue. My dad was working in Louisiana, and when my mom arrived on the scene she was glaring, I thought that she was angry, but she was actually relieved that I was okay. Although I was not significantly hurt, I had a large bruise on my arm. When I talked to my dad on the phone that night, he told me, “We can always buy a new car, but we can never get a new
Waking up the morning that I was meant to leave for my trip, all that I could do was try to will my bladder not to have to use the bathroom and inconvenient amount of times and trying to decipher the correct amount of water that I should drink in order to not have to go. When I woke up a peed, before I left, I peed, when I got to Anna’s house I peed again just for good measure- and that was all within a couple of hours. When we finally left on our 8 hour journey my new mantra was “don’t think about having to pee” which as you can assume was the adverse of what I was trying to do. For the first 3 hours I didn’t have to go, and I was so proud of myself. After that I gained some confidence and was like “I got this, I will pee when
It was the summer before college around February. When I got my first car, a 2001 Honda Civic This car was something special to me because not only was it my first car but it has yet to break down on me. I've had a little issues here and there, but it gets me where I need to go. One day I went over to my dads to get my brakes fixed and I had the perfect breaks afterwards. But it wasn't installed 100% correctly. On one of my front brakes he forgot to put a brake pad in between the rotaries and the metal. So it was being chewed out because metal was rubbing against metal. The sound of the metals rubbing together was like a cannonball being scraped on concrete. So about a month after the excruciating noise I decided to stop by tires plus to
Lex and I are racing then Lex ram into me and I went off the road into the trees and my R34 v-spec started to roll. Then, Sandra my sister comes and gets me out of the car and calls Ando, and Andy telling them to bring the tow truck and get the car out. After, she called them she rushed me to the hospital and they took back my car to my auto part store It’s named after me Dani. Next, I remember hearing sirens but I didn’t know if the cops were chasing us or something else was happening but I tried not to worry too much. Now, it passed like an half an hour and the car stopped and my sister yelled 緊急時対応に役立てる! which means help it’s an emergency and nurses came out rushing with a wheeled stretcher. When they put on the
My chevy, it was a dark faded blue with white my dad used to drive it as his work truck to “rears” manufacturing company until he passed away when i was little kid. No one drove it anymore it would be just around the front of the house. Id always imagine me driving it my mom when i was in the sixth grade said if i can get a thousand dollars it would be mine. That summer and the summer after i non stopped mowing lawns “bucking” hay alround just trying to get that truck and make it mine.
