Some teachers may have served as an inspiration and gave encouragement to their students while others may have seemed mean and uncaring. Whether one’s educational experience was good or not largely depended on what teacher he had and what was being taught to him by that teacher. As children become part of the school system and active learners in society, their first experience is being taught by an elementary school teacher. They are responsible for the educational and emotional growth of children in a classroom setting, as well as managing the materials and resources used for educating them.” While that definition is true, there is so much more to being an elementary school teacher.
