Today I woke up, my alarm clock sound off at 8 o’clock precisely and I moan and attempt to envision that it isn 't there. At the point I realized the commotion would not seize, I move over and end the alarm forcefully causing it to make a loud thump to my bedroom floor. I then tell myself, “I will sleep for 10 more minutes.” Two minutes later I was rudely interrupted, from a distance I hear a voice, it was my grandmother yelling, “Dre it is time to wake up!”
I turn over searching for my cellular device, it wasn’t there. I stood up quickly to search my bed, stepping on my alarm clock that fell to the floor making a loud screech. I then began searching for my phone, finding it bundled in my cover sheets without a charge. I place it on the

The bus stopped and I stepped on hearing laughter. The kids began to mock me and impersonating my deep breaths. I was so embarrassed, I forgot about the homework I didn’t do and placed my head down in the seat.
We arrived at school and my friends were waiting for me as I exited the bus. We began to walk and she asked, “Did you have time to complete the homework Dre?” I responded, “I completely forgot again!” The class bell sounded and everyone began to move to their first period class. We arrived at Mr. Martin’s door, and he was not there yet. I grabbed my friends completed homework and sat on the floor and began to do the homework that was due in about five minutes. With two minutes to spare, Mr. Martin opens the door and everyone handed him their homework as they entered the door.
The class sat in their assigned seats, and we all broke off into little conversations. My classmate Mike and I began to talk about our high school basketball game from the night before. We played our rival team McKinley High School, and I was a big topic for the remainder of the week. The class began to get really loud with all of the side conversations going on making Mr. Martin become very angry. He then stood from his desk and demanded that we take out a sheet of paper for a quiz. We all began blaming each other on who was the loudest and he then began giving the quiz questions. After finishing the test, the class sits in
The principle comes through the back so he could talk to me, he takes me through the back door and puts me in my first period class.Immediately all the white students look at me and start yelling at me and are throwing everything in their possession. The principle comes threw the door outraged and starts yelling at the white students they quickly stop throwing things at me and I finally get my first day of learning.
After class was over and students are exiting the room, two students begin to argue and one pushes the other with enough force that the student falls into nearby desks. So, the teacher
Then I went to language and sat down next to Makenzi, Taylor, and Itzel. Makenzi gave me a piece of gum and the rest of class consisted of reading a stupid story. Then Mrs. Morrone told us our homework which was a work book page. 10 minutes after that she dismissed us and I stopped at my locker. I opened it with ease and took out my science textbook and workbook. I sat down next to Taylor and we talked about our science fair project, which is due in January. All of a sudden, Mrs. Dainton screamed out, “Ah, a spider!” The whole class laughed and screamed. Mrs. Dainton took off her black shoe and tried to hit the spider, but she missed. She aimed again and finally hit it. She told us to quiet down and do our homework, we didn’t. Makenzi continued to laugh and make jokes. “Makenzi, come here,” yelled Mrs. Dainton. Makenzi didn’t so she got a referral. When Makenzi left, the class quieted down and continued working. Mrs. Dainton quietly dismissed us and I stayed because that’s where I have advisory. I worked on homework, and when I was done I read my book. The book I’m reading is called “After Eli”. The bell rung, I put up my chair, and I
When I arrived in the office, the principal was red in the face, her lips in a rigid line, and my parents were on the verge of
When I came into class on Tuesday I was surprised to see that I was one of the last people to get there, because I left 15 minutes early. When I sat down I noticed a girl wearing a purple shirt; only because that's my favorite color, and later on in I found out that her name was Megan and she is left handed like my sister. As class moved on Dr. Brown realized she left some papers in her car, but she found a copy in her bag and she was so happy that she didn't have to go all the way to her car, so she gave us a 10 minute break while she made copies. Then after that was done Dr. Brown made the class play bingo with using are classmates names as the bingo pieces. The first person that put their name
Ms. Connelly started class asking students that needed help with their homework to get it out. Some students opened their homework, but some did not. Ms. Connelly then began writing out and solving homework problems with an overhead projector. One student walked into class late, Ms. Connelly addressed it quickly with little disruption to the class. The student looked around the room and realized the other students had their homework out and he did the same. Ms. Connelly continued to work out homework problems step by step on the overhead projector. While doing this Ms. Connelly asked questions about the steps she used to solve the math equation and randomly called on students for the answers. After working out a few of the math problems Ms. Connelly asked the class if they understood how she solved the equations. A few students nodded their heads and then Ms. Connelly moved on solving the next equation. Ms. Connelly referenced a quiz that was coming up tomorrow in the students ' math classes and stated the homework problems will be on the quiz. The teacher then continued working out math problems and using question prompts to keep students engaged. While waiting for one student to answer another student called out the answer. Ms. Connelly addressed it and let the student know that she was waiting for the other student to answer the question. One student laid her
The day right from the start seemed like a good day so I went about smiling and walked blissfully to my normal seat next to my friends. We prepared for the coming classes that day. The deafening bell sounded and we were on our way to start the actual day. My classmates and I walked joyfully through the hallways, joking and laughing before reaching our first period destination. I made my way to the front of the classroom and sat down. The air was crisp so I took out my jacket and put it on. Our teacher walked in a few minutes late and started to take attendance. The whole classroom focused on him. After he finished taking attendance, he slowly reached down into a drawer and pulled out a stack of papers. I stared in disbelief. The stack of papers he pulled out was actually a pop-test. I took the pop-test trying to recall everything that we had learned over the course of two weeks. I focused on the test for most of the class period and finally turned it in. The morning weather seemed to just be a ruse. This was not a blissful or good day; it took a turn for the worst. I sat there in the chilling room trying to think of something else to keep
I returned to Mrs. Hengsbach's first-grade class, to finish up my observation requirement. The class was just returning to there room when I was coming down the hall. I was given a big welcome from Mrs. Hengsbach. The class turned around and I received so many hugs from the students it was wonderful. We entered the classroom and the students gathered on the carpet in the front of the class and the music videos began. It was time to practice telling time and the lesson began with a few songs and the students were having a great time. Once the singing and dancing were over, it was to the time centers. The students went to the computers, games around the room, and the station at Mrs. Hengsbach's desk. I again joined the group at the desk to watch
Immediately I ran back to my room and locked it. "I need to call the police!" That was the first thing I did. I was looking for my phone when I realize I left it in the living room.
Mrs. Warren and Mrs. Kelly let us sit by whoever we want which I liked. We sat down while Mrs. Warren and Mrs. Kelly explained where and what everything was. Then we got to color! That made me feel better! But then we got our lockers. I couldn't find mine! A few other kids and I couldn't find our lockers. I said to a teacher,
Walking to the middle school office unknowing of what was coming. Knowing I’ve done nothing wrong, knowing I hadn’t won anything, and ninety-nine percent sure I wasn’t forgetting a doctor or dentist appointment. Entering the office, now more confused when I realized my sister was standing in the middle of the grey dull office in front of me. “You got called to the office too?” she asked. “Yeah, do you know why we got called?” stating even more confused and concerned about why my sister and I were there. Before she could respond, Mr. Small, our school counselor, came out and requested us to follow him.
Here I am in Mrs. Neufeld’s 3th grade math class. Today we’re having a test and usually when she gave us a test, there was an assignment due also. Well I forgot to do it. This may seem really small but I never forgot my homework. I immediately thought that I was going to get a yellow card for the day so I had to think fast. I asked the Chayton who was sitting next to me if they could give me my sheet and they said ok so I started it and thought what if I brought this to the bathroom and just did it there? I did not have pockets so I had to put it in my shirt and asked my teacher if I could go to the bathroom and use one of my cubes. She said yes and I bolted out of the classroom but just before I could reach the door she asked “did I check your paper yet” and immediately my stomach dropped as if I were on a rollercoaster.
I awoke with a start as my alarm clock screamed in my ear. I sat up, still dazed from last nights parties and drinks. The alarm clock didn’t help. I fumbled around in my sheets until I could reach over and slam on the alarm. It gave its final BEEP before
The class stopped their intense working and stared at me. I felt my cheeks start to burn as they all looked at me. The teacher didn’t notice my scream but did notice the absence of pencils scratching against paper. He told everyone to get back to work, so they did.
The teacher was average sized woman. She wore a dress that had flowers on it and wore brown pumps ,she was really pretty. She looked straight at me.She said with a stern voice “Obviously the new student doesn't know the rules in this classroom and the school so why don't you stand up like the rest of us”. The whole class turned around and stared right at me. I was the center of attention.
