My Decision Of Becoming An Educator

Back in Spring Quarter 2013, I had the chance to go observe a local high school in the LAUSD, being there help lead to my decision of becoming an educator. Being able to observe the students helped me see the different student 's behavior that I will need to work with. I remember when I was there seeing two students who did worry about their education, and the teacher not doing much to encourage them. After observing the two students it helped lead to my decision on becoming a teacher even more. My purpose will be to make a difference in teens’ lives through education. The main reason is to educate the future generations by teaching them about their own potential. By having them learn their own potential we can help them see that they can grow up and enter the adult world. As educators we can help prepare them for the real world and show them that no matter where they come from their dreams can come true, by putting their minds to it. Overall, I want to invest time in teaching students their literacy, their prosperity, and prepare them for the future.
The key point of students ' success depends on how well the instructor presents the subject. Many students tend to learn differently which is why the instructor needs to have various ways to educate the different needs of students. I think students learn best when students read the chapter of a book, write notes off the board, receive handouts, and be followed by a small quiz a lesson. The subject that I want to teach is…
