The medical field is a phenomenon that it is forever evolving and rapidly changing. Technological advancements and research published in medical journals are continually revised in order to increase accuracy and efficiency of diagnoses and treatments. It is imperative that every healthcare provider keeps up to date with the most current medical findings in order to provide the best care possible to their patients. Therefore a characteristic that every health care provider should possess is self-motivation to pursue knowledge for personal development to help themselves and others grow. My natural curiosity in life and eagerness to continually educate and improve myself makes me a wonderful candidate for your direct-entry master’s of nursing program. My role as their group leader was to create and teach a lesson plan at the beginning of class and lead a group conversation filled with prodding through questions to inspire and motivate my students to dig deeper into their ideas. I had excelled in the course the prior semester and was excited to use my knowledge to advise each group. One of my favorite aspects of being a TA was developing a connection with each student. I also tailored my teaching style to align with their individual needs. Ultimately, I was successful in leading my groups in creating their wellness program and was asked by the professor to return the following semester as her teaching
During my senior year of high school, I began to worry about what my life would be after high school. I knew I wanted to pursue my dreams of furthering my education and obtaining a college degree, yet had no idea what I wanted to become. After researching several careers, I decided I’d attend community college, obtain my medical assistant certificate enabling me to work in the health care field, which would then help me determine exactly what it is that I wanted. Luckily, I took a variety of college courses in high school which allowed me to finish the medical assisting program in one year, instead of two years; which is typical of a community college. I received a job offer at the facility I did my externship and began working a month after graduation.
I am honored and thankful for the opportunity to seek re-election to the NSAA Board of Directors as a Member at Large for my second consecutive term. A JOURNEY TO PROVIDE CARE When in the emergency room, many will groan because a "real doctor" is not taking care of them. However, the physician’s assistant’s (PA) job in the emergency room is to assist in taking a load off of the doctor so that the doctors can focus on the extremely critical patients. There are a number of fields that one can work in as a PA. Because of the variety of job choices, studies have shown that a physician’s assistant is the second most wanted job in the United States of America. (cite) To become a physician's assistant one must be willing to endure schooling and trials, though the job is full of benefits.
A physician assistant (PA) was created to improve and expand healthcare. In the mid 1960s, physicians noticed there was a shortage in primary care physicians. To deal with the shortage, the first PA was was created in 1965 (“physician assistant”). The demand for healthcare will always be needed. More People are becoming a PA because of wages and less schooling is required. The career of a PA will grow and expand over the years. The medical profession I’ve recently decided to pursue was a certified medical assistant. You will need some type of plan before you decide to pursue in anything. It could be as simple as writing down your short and long term goals on a piece of paper .In my case, I always have something that motivates me because that will help me stay focused on achieving my goals. My motivation is knowing I will wake up to something I love doing on a daily basis once I get my career started. There are a few steps I will need to take to achieve my goal in becoming a medical assistant.
If I were the nurse’s manager, I will first apologized to the patient with the ungrateful experience she had. Next I will calm the situation by making my best efforts to the patient and telling her that, the bad experience would not happen again either with her or to other patients. I would not tell the patient the nurse consequences, but I will makes sure that it would not happen again. I will convert the negative situation into positive one because those type of situation should not happen into the medical field or into any other place. I will make a new appointment with the patients and I will make sure that the medical assistant would have a good ethics with the patient. Initially, it was arduous to watch and not be able to participate. But after some thought, I decided that involving myself in the environment important to me is better than being away from it completely. Overcoming my emotions and motivating myself to apply my abilities to teach was difficult, but it has taught me so much as a person. One thing would be that assistance can truly be used anywhere and anyone is valuable. I was shown this by consistently coming to team events and slowly watching my instructions turn into actions.
