As a student of University of Delaware, I expect to be comfortable with the academic side of college life. I have always been a hard worker who pushes myself to learn more about the subjects that I take, as well as subjects of my personal interest. Over the next four years, as a UD student, I would take advantage of every opportunity to improve my knowledge of the variety of subjects that I can take.
However, by focusing too much time on academics, I have never been a particularly open person. I usually pick up a few friends, but never really get to know a wide range of people, especially in large settings such as a college campus. I know that I will have to work on that skill to not only gain new friends and companions, but will also need

Rebecca Gilman’s The Glory of Living is an ambitious piece of writing. The playwright takes on the challenge of exploring how an eighteen-year-old girl has ended up on death row, convicted of multiple murders. The play’s opening scene is exciting and engaging, and Gilman has a strong grasp of the characters she has created, but as the action progresses, it becomes evident that the play is missing something. The Glory of Living’s shortcomings exemplify the need for playwrights to focus on developing a Major Dramatic Question, and a protagonist with a strong want.

College is indirectly served to have fun, make new friends, and learn about ourselves. As an attendant at Miami-Dade College I would never forget the real reason for enrolling in this institution. Any other individual who is a current student should know that education is the knowledge of putting potential to maximum use. Throughout the semester I have been given various assignments and objectives to comprehend making it challenging. At Miami-Dade College, the professors offer a variety of ways that can ensure academic success. My academic success this semester came with being able to be self-motivated, communicate with professors, and use available resources throughout the campus.
Prior to the start of my education at the University of Maine at Presque Isle, I had many different expectations. After attending UMPI for a semester, I can attest that some of these expectations were met while others were not. I have found there are skills that I need to improve on and I also found that I should get better involved in campus life. Over a short period of time, I have already learned so many things about how the rest of my future at UMPI will be like and how it has already impacted me.
Many are rich many are poor many have money many don’t. Have you ever had a moment where you did something selfish for desperation of money and karma hit you right back with a right hook?. And felt regret towards yourself. In the short story “Why, You Reckon” the author uses irony and dialogue, to show the audience that money can't buy happiness.
Even after the four high school years, I still do not have much close friends. I do not want to be the same lonely
During my high school career I was able to make lots of friendships, but had few close friendships. I was unable to have a large amount of girlfriends, because I did not feel a good connection with them. Instead, I hung out with a group of guys and had two girlfriends who had similar life stories. When I was sixteen I started working and that was something I enjoyed doing to make money. Once high school was over I felt like I had so much to look forward to. When college came around I didn’t see the same people every day and had to make new friends here at Anderson. This was challenging for me, because the dorms are full of females which was something that I have not been used to.
Making friends became a mission rather than a consequence of being in college. Concentrating on weight issues I clicked with gym goers, sharing exercise techniques. Acting as mutual role models, I certainly appreciated the mutual admiration society we built.
