My Experience In My Life

August of 2013, I made one of the best decisions of my life. Starting college, being broke and alone, I was nervous to see where this path was going to take me. It only took one block for me to realize that I had made the greatest decision I possibly could have at the young age of nineteen. This process has taught me many lessons. I have grown into an educator with a rare look on the world. As I reflect on my experience, I look to the outcomes for the bachelor's degree and I cannot be more excited about my experience.
Outcome 1 :develop and implement meaningful, research-based, content rich experiences and environments in early childhood settings in language and literacy, mathematics, physical development and health, social competence, and creative arts.
One of my favorite ways I developed and implemented meaningful, research-based, content rich experiences and environments in early childhood settings is developing environments in a setting. This was one of the most fun things for me. I loved to observe children as they played in these settings and find ways to make it better or develop a new area for areas that weren't really working. Seen in Figure 1, are some of the environments I developed. I would also use resources that were provided to me throughout my learning experience. For example, the NAEYC website.
