The definition of prostate cancer is pretty simple. The encyclopedic definition of prostate cancer defines prostate cancer as being, “a disease where cells of the prostate become abnormal and start to grow uncontrollably forming tumors.” (Lata, Michelle 1). Prostate cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in American men. A recent article from the Health Reference Center Academic, defines the prostate “gland as being only about the size of a walnut and it wraps around the urethra and the neck of the bladder. The bladder is the hollow organ that holds urine and the urethra is a tube that carries the urine from the bladder to the end of the penis” (Prostate Cancer 1).
