Driving from Newton Kansas all the way to Orlando Florida isn’t the easiest thing you know. It’s long and doesn’t come with a lot of stops if you’re having to do it with my parents. The trip itself is around a 20 hour drive but when you include stops and everything together it comes around to be a 24 hour drive. This doesn’t sound like fun and you’re very right if you’re thinking this. The trip is for sure worth it though, we were going to “The Magic Kingdom”. The place where kids that kids are super energetic and just want to finally meet Mickey Mouse. This was my first time ever going so of course i was excited and just wanted to be there already. We left our house on an early morning probably around 4 A.M so we could have an early start to the day. The night before this trip I didn’t sleep at all so I could try and make the trip as short as I possibly could, sleeping was basically my only thing to do. Once our SUV was loaded and ready to go we hit the road and started our journey. Waking up to your sister moving your leg so she can get more comfortable isn’t the most settle way to start your day. It was around 10 9 A.M when I had been woken up from my beauty sleep and I was not happy. “Why’d you wake me up you asshole I was sleeping!” is exactly what I said to her when she did this. My parents weren’t too happy about this comment that had came out of my mouth so they made me sit up so she could lay down and get more comfortable. This was already enough for me
¨Were off.¨my dad said. Going to Florida is awesome even if its for baseball. The ride to Florida was horrible, especially with two brothers, my dad and my grandpa. The good part was there was a movie thing. On the way there, there was a lot of traffic trust me it was like driving a turtle but when you get there its
After I got through the struggle of packing a bunch of randomness it was time for the tedious car ride. I slept half the way there and looked out the window at all the new roads and landmarks. We drove for seven hours, but then decided to stop and get some rest in buffalo minnesota.
When my family and I was getting ready to go on a trip to Florida, my parents knew there was going to be some obstacles to before we got to Florida. First, where would we stay at, and how long would we be there for? We also were wondering on if we were going to drive, or fly on an airplane to our destination. My dad always wanted to go to Pensacola because of the calm beaches and places that he liked. My mom insisted that we should go to Daytona beach do to the best places to stay, and relaxing areas to be at.
We left after my parents got off work one night. Our camper was all packed and we were ready to set off on our journey to New Mexico. Before we got to New Mexico we had to make a stop at my dad's cousin's hose to get the jet ski and then we were on our way to Ute Lake. We finally got there late that night.
Could you ever imagine driving twenty-two hours in a suburban with eight people? Although it was incredibly cramped, and tortuous, I was going to my favorite place… Florida. We were going with our neighbors, who I grew up with, traveled with, and basically did everything with. Our moms had decided to do a last minute trip to Florida and planned everything out the night before. We always did vacations on spring break, but this vacation my mom told me by surprise, at seven A.M.
Have you seen a real live bear?Well I have. One day me and my family decided to go on a picnic, to Yosemite National Park.I was so excited because I never been there before! So then we got everything ready and in the car we left to Yosemite. In the car we all started to fight for the food like the chip and drinks but my mom stop us.After we were driving and then what felt like four hours of driving and no wifi on the way made it worse. When we finally got there, and found a spot to have are picnic.
12 hours. At the time, it seems like such a long trip. 12 hours on the road. Little did I know that in those twelve hours I would come to place that would change my outlook on life.
I was so tired to wear my clothes because the journey to Florida that I felt like sleeping like a Koala, but I forced myself to still wear my sleeping clothes. A few moments later my tummy growled really loud that it woke up my sister when she was asleep. “Waaaaaa,” cried Alfia. She literally was crying with tears. My mom came rushing in the room and tried to stop my sister from crying. Then she finally stopped 30 seconds after my mom tried.
This personal essay is going to be on my crazy drive to Vermont. Well it all started off with my cousin Max waking me up at 7:00 am.
We started our trip on June 3. It was about 7:30 in the morning when we had to start packing our bags into the car. Well it was more like a bus. We had rented a huge Ford SUV/truck for the trip, since the were seven of us going on the trip. So me my two step sisters, my mom, my step-dad, and my grandma got into the car and left. We were meeting my uncle at the hotel in South Dakota. It was going to be a long trip, two and a half days.
Minutes to get there, and the whole 30 minutes was boring. I was ready to sleep; I was also super hungry, I was so excited I was about to burst. I had a fear about a few rides, but i didn’t let it overcome me.
This all started with my parent’s brilliant idea to take me to Disney World. As any 8-year-old would have reacted to such amazing news, I completely lost it. To my memory, I think I might have just turned the house upside down, literally making the clean family room into a war zone. And of course, I had to brag to all my friends at school of this amazing trip I had the opportunity to go on. I was so ecstatic that every night I crossed off the days left until the trip. After what had felt like an eternity, we headed to the airport to fly to Orlando.

Well what would be going to Florida and have the most fun you will ever have like catching the world record biggest bass which will be 26 lb or more. And what would be the better than that is being able to go shark fishing the ocean and catch a shark. And what all spring break have is you get to have fun every time you have spring break. So what I did was me,mom, dad, nana, hailey went to Florida to go to 'Bush Garden,Adventure Island. And go on a boat and go play mini golf but we did not play mini golf because we did not have time so we went to the trampling park and we was there for 1 hour. Thene we went home and me and my dad went night fishing and I caught no fish but my dad caught 3 bass. Thene we went home and stayed up to about to 10:30
One of my all time favorite things to do is to ride the ATV. I first started riding the ATV when I was 6 months old with my Grandpa. I started to drive when I was 4 years old with my Grandpa. Then I started driving by myself when I was ten years old. Going on an ATV trip means spending time with my family and enjoying the sights in the mountains. On my last ATV trip I had a blast. It had rained so much that there was mud puddles everywhere. During a day trip ride with my Mom, Uncle John and Aunt Carmen we came across multiple puddles of mud. My Uncle John, Aunt Carmen and I drove our ATVs thru the mud puddles and got very dirty. My Mom totally avoided the mud puddles and we were all laughing at her! The last ride of that trip my Uncle John and I went on a night ride. My Mom made me promise to not drive thru the mud puddles. {I so didn’t listen!} Uncle John and I drove thru the biggest mud puddle ever. We were completely covered in mud. My Mom was very mad at me and said she didn’t want to hear any complaining if I got sick. Guess who got sick? My Mom who got a double ear infection and I didn’t even get a sniffle.
