The unique writer Have you ever seen someone being picked on for what they look like or just because the way they do something? Well that’s what happened on my first day of school. August 14 2017 Marlowe Middle School, first day Today was my first day of middle school. One of the benefits is that I met these really nice and friendly kids, who have been friends for about 2 years now. We met a couple days before school started, their names are Noah and Charly. “Hey Noah hey Charly” I said with a smile on my face. ‘’Hey Emin’’ they both’’replied. “I hope we don't have a lot of homework today ’’ I said as we walked to class. ‘’I hope so to’’ said Noah. ‘’I remember my first day of school last year my teachers gave us tons of homework i hope that doesn't happen this year” replied Charly. As we walked into class i noticed something, I noticed that Eric is in our class. A little flashback to when I was in the fourth grade, Eric would pick on me because of my height, he did this a lot of times during the year. It made me angry just thinking about him. But one of the benefits was me Noah and Charly all sit next to each other in literacy. ‘’I wonder what we will be doing in literacy first’’ I said. ‘’We will most likely be starting a book or something like that’’ replied charly. ‘’Ok class settle down’’ the teacher said. The class got really quiet. ‘’Ok class know you are all are just as happy to be back at school as I am’’ she told the students. ‘’I'm not
The first day of high school was horrible as expected. Students poured into the classroom knowing who to sit by since they had gone to middle
Leaving school I am feeling many emotions, I am happy to leave, excited to tell my mom about all I experienced that day,
The first day of school is very scary. It is even scarier for children. Why? Well, because all children are different. We have children who are very interactive with others and those who are quiet and shy. For children making friends is much easier than it is with
That first day of school I was so confused I was at a new school with new people who didn't know me at all. Heads
How was your first day of Middle School? Getting ready for Middle School is great. First you can go to openhouse.Second you can go shopping . Keep a good routine. If you can do all this steps your first day would not be that stressful.
When they got back from the walk dinner was ready. They were having grilled chicken and shrimp. The chicken
The start of school brought many agonizing moments. I learned firsthand the cruelty of my peers. I needed to use the elevator and have my books carried. I remember having few friends those first months, yet everyone noticed me. I was known as "Brace Girl" and was constantly badgered with questions like: "Is that a bulletproof vest?" "Why do you wear that?"
I have no idea what next year will hold, but I think I’m prepared for whatever’s next. I’m hoping to work on not procrastinating and making sure I stay organized. This year has been a crazy one, but I’m proud of myself for making it through it. I’m ending 8th grade (and middle school!) on a positive note. I’m partly glad to be finally done with middle school, but on the other hand I think I’m really going to miss LMS, because I found a place that I
It’s my first day of Highschool and I am very excited. I get ready and pack all my school supplies in my backpack. I go downstairs to find my mom. Once I find her she gives me lunch money and paperwork that I have to turn into the office. Once I was ready to leave my mom took my picture and we got in the car and left. When I got to school I started to get really nervous, until I saw my three Best friends, Courtney, Lanie, and Taylor. When they saw me they started jumping up and down because we didn’t get so see each other much during summer break. I got out of the car and ran towards them and hugged them. We walked inside together while having a conversation. “ Alexis, I'm so happy to see you! We haven’t seen each other in a long time!”
I had never realized that my first day at a new school could be so terrifying. Everyone was looking at me like I was someone from another planet. I must’ve been considered that “weird new kid," because I had hardly made any friends during my first few months at school. I still remember the looks I received from people; I remember seeing people whisper behind my back questioning my identity. Not only was I the new kid, I was the shy, awkward, smart new kid and I must say, it wasn’t easy those first couple months of school. I struggled to make friends, which caused me to occasionally lose my focus on schoolwork. I had to learn to stop letting others’ actions affect my daily life, which would eventually become my goal for the next upcoming years of my life.
However, the pessimistic part of me was telling me that it was going to be a boring day; I was going to be stuck doing mundane work such as worksheets and readings. I couldn’t help but sigh, thinking about it. After finishing my nutritious breakfast, it was time for me to go to school.
My muddy cowgirl boots touch the spotless, white concrete as I hop off the shiny golden bus. As I start walking towards the unfamiliar doors, I see the other kids look at me then down at the ground where my boots had stained the pure white concrete. A couple of years ago their stares would have bothered me, but being the new kid on the block for all three years of middle school i’ve become accustomed to the judgemental looks. As I reach for the door a group of girls all wearing hollister jeans, Lily Grace t-shirts, and high top converse cut me off and strut in like they were the stars of a red carpet premiere. I shrug it off and say to myself, “there will always be that one group.” I hold the door for some people that were behind me and take my first steps into the place my parents promised me would be my home from now until I graduate.
It was the first day of school and I just was so excited about who was going into be in my class I was also nervous. That what I was thinking. I went upstairs and got dressed and brushed my hair and my teeth.
I was packing my backpack with all my new school supplies as my mom walked into my room, "Victor, make sure you set an alarm for tomorrow morning. You cannot miss the bus on your first day at Taylor Road Middle School." "I know, Mom" I quickly responded. I put the last box of crayons in the front pocket and zipped the backpack up. I got in bed and began to doze off, thinking to myself, "My classes are going to be a breeze this year. My teachers seem nice, I like the school, and I've already met some new people―what could possibly go wrong?"
It was the last day of summer so, we had to go to bed early for school. It was me along with my older sister and younger brother, Tammaria and LeCedrious. We were all excited for the first day of school we couldn’t wait. Me and my sister was starting our first day of
