Do you still have some questions about how orthodontic treatment works? Let’s answer some common concerns our patients usually express.
How long does it take to get my teeth straightened?
The amount of time required for treatment is directly dependent upon your specific situation and the method of treatment used. While traditional braces may take two or three years, Invisalign can be completed in about 12 to 18 months. Fastbraces works even faster, often offering results in about 6 to 12 months.
How much does orthodontic treatment cost?
Again, the answer to this question largely depends on your situation and what type of treatment is required. Typically, the longer your treatment, the most costly it becomes. However, many insurance plans cover the cost of braces. We also offer great financing options that should make it easy to make sure you are taken care of.
Are braces painful?
All of our braces options are safe and produce only mild levels of discomfort. None of our orthodontic options are painful. When you have your wires adjusted for traditional braces, you may feel a bit of discomfort lasting up to about a week due to the pressure of tightened wires. With Fastbraces or Invisalign, even that discomfort is reduced.
