One of the greatest feelings in this world is achieving our goals. Since I was six years of age, I 've been wrestling. Since day one of my training, my goal was to be a wrestling champion. Ever since I first watched how cool the high school boys looked, they were beasts with blood gushing out of there noses, and eyes swollen shut and black. I 've always wanted to be great wrestler, and I wanted to be one of the best wrestlers in the state of Colorado. To accomplish my goal, I knew it was going to be a long and challenging process. So throughout the years, I knew that I would have to push myself and wrestle when ever I could, and never give up on my goal.
My junior year of high school, I worked hard all summer, attended numerous

It was four stories tall and was an awesome sight. Hovering over me, like a huge animal waiting to strike its prey. I was ready to show the fans of wrestling and the crowd that I was a intergalactic beast ready for war. As I slowly walked through the huge doors of the Pepsi Center, I felt like this was it. Every thing I have ever prepared for, ever since I was six years old, was all on the line. After I walked through the doors, I realized there is no turning back, like a big black void with only one entrance and no way out. I have worked my whole life for this moment. The Pepsi Center is quite a scary thing for a state wrestler, it is overwhelming with nerves. I had the feeling of pride, as if I accomplishment my goal. But I still knew my goal wasn 't accomplished until I was a State champion. I had accomplished something in my family that nobody has ever done, and I was one of the top wrestlers of the state, in the 4A part of the tournament.
When we walked into the stadium, all you could hear is silence. It was a little scary but it seemed liked something astonishing was going to happen. The air appeared to be tremendously cold outside as a result of how chilly it was. When inhaling this air it felt like you would get frostbite inside of your lungs. As I took a deep breath, my nose widely expanded to try to breathe the cold air, it was just too cold and my nose was just frozen shut. Each breath I attempted to take was similar to attempting to breathe through an
Tuesday was the start of a new six weeks, my academic short term goal is to have a 90 and above in every class that I have. I will have this goal down by going into my classes every Friday after school to check on my progress in that class and sit to do extra credit if I really need to be sure I make an A in the class. A personal short term goal I have for myself is to maintain my healthy eating habits for about another year, I have cut down candy, sodas and fast food places. I will achieve this goal by staying right on path with my meal plan and working out daily. I will know I have accomplished my goal when I lose twenty pounds and when I have a flat stomach. My third goal is a personal one and it is to save up two hundred dollars to pay
All throughout school, students are ask what we want to be when we grow up. Many of us know or have a pretty good idea, but others have no clue what they want to pursue as a career in life, whether it be furthering their education at a university or attending a technical school. There are other students that plan to start work right out of high school. Either way we all have a plan, and the purpose of this paper is to inform you of mine. I personally struggle in making big decisions like deciding what to do with my life, but then I realized I have been asking myself the wrong questions. Instead of asking what I want to be when I grow up, I asked myself what do I want out of life? what are some of my goals that I wish to achieve? This led
Ever since I was young, I was exposed to a Historically Black College or University, Jackson State University. I had always went to activities and functions such as football games, summer programs, and other special events. I did not know whether I would attend a historically Black College or University (HBCU) or not at the time. I had finally decided to go to a HBCU, and I would attend Tougaloo College in the fall to further my education. I have many goals and objectives for pursing my educational experience at a historically Black College, and I plan to achieve them.
College is very different than high school. So many challenging homework and courses to participate in. That is why my three goals for my career are as follows: I want to receive my college diploma, get a better career path, and learn some new things. There are many things I have to do in order to achieve these goals. With hard work and dedication, I am ver confident I can do this.
Other than graduating from high school, I believe all high school seniors have specific goals in mind that they set for themselves to achieve before they graduate and move on to their lives outside of the seclusion of their parents. I have set both school and career goals that I wish to fulfill before graduating both high school and college.
Goals are important to peoples everyday lives. Goals for high school, personal life, goals for your job, and goals for the future are important to our everyday lives towards the future. I’m Hailey Anderson, I’m a determined person that is not afraid to fail and then learn from it. My goals in my life is to focus on my education, improving my bowling skills, and find different ways to strengthen my short term memory loss. Goals in high school are good because you can focus on making goals, which can let you get to what you want to do in the future.
My goals for this year are to Graduate high school, be successful with track and field, and go to college. When I graduate high school my life would be more successful because I would be able to be off on my own and live life. After I graduate I will be able to make bigger moves and move into my own house and make my own decisions. Making my own decision would be huge choices but it is also apart of growing up and maturing. Graduating high school is the biggest move because you really have to decide on a lot of things. When I achieve that goal you will know because I would have walked across the stage and got my diploma. Now with my other goal, I want to be successful with track because I like running and doing jumping events and it’s my favorite
But, you just have to know when learn to succeed from your failures. Most freshman at this point, loosing their first match in front of everyone would quit the team and say that they are not cut out for wrestling. That it is too hard. Not me. I looked past my failure and trained. I went to every practice and every meet. I wanted to succeed, I know success wasn't gonna be easy because success isn't given, it's earned. Success is earned by putting in hard work, sweat, and blood. Despite my hard work and dedication I still lost the matches I was put into. However, this did not discourage me like the first time, on the contrary , it actually motivated me to want it more. To embrace the rush. Sophomore year rolled by and my coaches told me that this was my year. We had a tournament and I was about to go weigh in when I see him. The kid that pinned me in my first match. He had a wide smirk on his face and that made me nervous. He knew who I was which made things worse. I panicked and became worried,"would he pin me like last time I wondered". After weigh ins, I sat the same way I did that first meet.
A few individuals need to be rich and well known, and others like there life test and unimportant. I'm the sort of individual that is cordial, receptive and gutsy. My main purpose for existing is to turn into the best form of myself both physically and mentally. With the end goal me should achieve my objectives, I must be taught. I am as of now going to school so that I may acquire my Associates Degree. My objective is to turn into a radiologist and that is the main inspiration I require. I like to carry on with my life without bounds, notwithstanding when I'm not in the state of mind. My goal is to stay propelled and solid so that I may fulfill the objectives that I have set out for myself. I am getting it done when I am sure and most noticeably
Every year, around 1.2 million students drop out of high school in the United States. I do not plan to be included in this statistic my senior year. Although going through high school can be very stressful at times, there are certain aspects that must be addressed first to ensure success. I will try my best this senior year to graduate, pursue higher learning, and plan for my future. Even though I have many expectations to accomplish before I graduate, these goals are the most important as of right now.
A quote from Nelson Mandela “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” As an Asian American, my parents have always strived for the best education for their children. They taught me their culture, values, respects, and the important of educations. Since kindergarten, I was taught to value all sources of education regardless of agendas. I believed that there’s never enough knowledge one can obtained. When I come of age and the time for me to explore my future, I believe that Central High School is my best choice for me to achieve my academic goal.
My first goal for this school year is to get my ... stuff together, first and foremost. This is ridiculous, honestly i should be done or at least in my senior year but instead, i am a junior with 8 credits. Like... ew, thats not acceptable nor cute. I thought the more people you surround yourself around the easier it would be to pass, i don't know where i got that from but i believed that, faithfully. This year I am going to do things a little differently. I will have a very small very tight circle of friends, not even friends just associates really. Stay to myself and get my work done. I mean it shouldn't be that hard seeing i don't really care about other people that much let alone there lives, i don't like parties, and I am not a fan of large crowds. So staying to myself and knocking my classes out shouldn't be hard, seeing i don't really do anything else with my time
After examining, history, income, and schooling, it is clear that to strive to be a lawyer would be an excellent goal after high school. Lawyers have always been very important throughout history, have very high income, and require a lot of schooling. Becoming a lawyer would be a great career to get into.
It was a sunny Sunday and my sister and I had to go to our first Pro Wrestling training. We wake up early, I was nervous but at the same time excited because I love that sport, so we took the breakfast and we went to the route. The trip was almost endless to me, I felt like the route became more and more eternal but at the same time I did not want to arrive because I didn’t know what I was going to find there. When we finally arrived, there were people training. The place is small but cozy, has a big and beautiful Ring in the front and around has a small CrossFit Gym. When we were invited to get into the Ring, it was one of the best feelings of my life and we trained like 1 hour and it was completely perfect. The young trainers congratulated
Throughout my life I’ve chased the rush of victory, danger, and serenity. I’ve found boredom in an easy life, a life of reputation and a life of dullness. My one true goal in life is to find excitement, purpose, and euphoria. I’m not sure what job I should chase to reach my goals, but sometimes it's hard to distinguish if I’m really chasing a job, and a way of life, or if I’m just chasing a paycheck. We all seek a certain kind of high, that feeling of ecstasy is something we all crave. We as people find that high whatever way we can. The high I chase the high is by achieving dominance over my past self. I love the challenge of bettering myself everyday. Last year I barely missed my shot of placing at state wrestling. In order to improve who I am now versus who I once was, I must place at the state wrestling tournament this year, as this is my last year as a high school wrestler. If I fail and
