Introduction This Personal Professional Development Plan (PPDP) will outline where I endeavour to be within the next 10 years of my career. My overall goal is to become a Public Relations Manager (PRM), to achieve this I aim to be proactive in accomplishing my short term goals to achieve my end goal (Covey, 2015). This will be demonstrated in the following PPDP. Personal Purpose Statement To be committed in communicating facts through the media, empowering others and be able to give advice from my highest professional opinion in a timely manner. Career Aspiration Throughout my life I have always strived to do my best and achieve the goals I set out to do, whether it be performing in a school play or hiking 54 kilometres in one day, I have always strived to be my best. My next big goal is to become an aspiring public relations manager that is respected and trusted within a medium sized not-for-profit agency or organisation. The organisation I hope to work for will be enthusiastic, organised, respectful of clients and colleagues, treat them with value, and have the best interest of the client and the stakeholders involved. I hope to working at a managerial stage after completing my Honours in public relations and have a backing experience of six years. I hope to be earning between $67,000 and $80,000 due to my experience and the current industry standards set in 2014.
