Goals are an important thing to have in your life. They help you so that you can work toward something instead of not knowing what to do. I have goals that have to do with school and goals for my future career. My goals for high school and college would be to get good grades, pass every class, and take AP classes. I also have career goals that I want to achieve in the future so I can have a job that makes me happy. I have goals for school and college that I want to reach and be successful. For high school I want to take Ap classes. I want to raise my grades and join clubs and do lots of community service. For college I want to take classes that will benefit me for my career. I want to take classes that won’t be a waste of time. Goals are
Setting goals are the most important thing you can do in your life. Without goals you are going to have no direction, no ambition to be successful, no drive to stay in school, and you would have trouble finding a career that will provide for you. When planning for success you must make good choices on the path you are going to choose. The wrong path will put you somewhere that is going to take you off track of your goals. For example, it can lead you to get lazy, partying too much and skipping school. You must stay on top of schoolwork and not fall behind. Now that you understand what a goal is, you might be wondering what the different types of goals
Ever since I was young, I was exposed to a Historically Black College or University, Jackson State University. I had always went to activities and functions such as football games, summer programs, and other special events. I did not know whether I would attend a historically Black College or University (HBCU) or not at the time. I had finally decided to go to a HBCU, and I would attend Tougaloo College in the fall to further my education. I have many goals and objectives for pursing my educational experience at a historically Black College, and I plan to achieve them.
My educational goals for high school would be to get good grades mostly, and the reason that is one of my main goals is because with grades your acceptance rate is higher to get into a college. With a higher acceptance rate, you get more options of colleges to choose from you aren’t limited to a certain college. For my college goals, they are to get a master's in nursing. Why I want my masters in nursing is because a master gets a higher chance in being hired, because they would rather choose someone with a higher degree in that area of work. Also with a masters you have more knowledge and that is always a better thing when applying to a job.
Everyone should have types of goals in life some bigger some smaller but a set of goals. I feel that is will better help you achieve things you want in life. It will also make it easier to organize your actions. My goal is to become a Security Technician so I will be able to provide for a future family and buy a home.
First, setting goals can be very helpful during your high school career. You’ll have a mindset that most kids your age won’t have. For example set goals like getting an A on my next test and/ or mastering my jump shot. After, setting these goals you should try to accomplish them. Soon, you will be able to make new goals.
Les Brown said, “Your goals are the road maps that guide you and show you what is possible for your life.” Every goal in life is determined by the actions we do now. Experiences and feeling have a lesson to teach us something new that could, later on, be applied in the future for our own good. Since I started living with my grandma when I was six years old, I had wanted to be a doctor because I wanted to help people. Activities in school are contributing their bit on the person I want to be, similarly to those special ones that will help me a lot through college too.
Goals are important to have in a life just to simply have a reason to fight for something. There are different kinds of goals made for different times in life. There are certain goals made in high school, college, a career, and one's personal life.
I set a goal to further my education by enrolling in college before I turned twenty five. I was on call 24 hours a day as tow truck driver at the time not leaving me time to meet the time frame of that goal. I did not completely give up on that goal and have currently met it. The reason I was eventually able to reach this goal is my unwillingness to give up on the things that are important to me. Even if things don’t go exactly how you plan you should not give up on
My high school goals are simple but they mean a lot. Even though it is to make the A-team for basketball this season or working hard to have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. These goals are very important to me. It will make me stronger when I complete these goals.
It wasn't often a personal thought of mine that there would be such a stark difference between a high school graduate and a college graduate in regards to a healthy lifestyle and a decent salary. It wasn't until recently that I fully understood the complications of not finding a decent job that pays a suitable amount to not only support myself, but much less a family. It's these complications that bring light to my mind on the importance of gaining college experience and why it's extremely critical in not only my life but the life of those around me. College is just an absolute essential factor in life that all of us should drive towards in order to better our lives.
The goals i have set in life right now is good grades. I want a GPA of 3.5 or higher. I wanna do good on tests and quizzes. I wanna do good on all test and quizzes because its an important part of my grade. Also I wanna do good on my homework because so i have
There is a saying in society “if you are poor you will stay poor.” The United States have said “You have the freedom of changing your classification in your social status.” People close to me have said “as long as it’s something you want, anything is possible.” With the given information, the choice I’ve made was to change my written destiny and make my mark on earth. The path I am willing to take isn’t to benefit my life, but to give back the people who gave me everything I could ever ask for.
My personal goal is to be able to take out the trash without my mom having to tell me to do it all the time. I think that this is important because I don't think that my mom should have to tell me to take out the trash. I will accomplish my goal by always remembering to check the trash when I leave my house, and when I get to my house, maybe set reminders on my phone to tell me to take out the trash, and just don't forget. My school goal is to get all A’s and B’s. This is important to me because I want to get into a good college, and you can’t get into college with bad grades.
A goal is a target you want to achieve in your life. They are important for many reasons. The purpose of a goal is to motivate yourself and it gives you directions and keeps you forward. Having goals in your life gives a clarity on your end vision, and allows you to focus . The goals help you achieve your highest potential. They make you stretch beyond your normal self and reach new heights. Also if the goal doesn’t challenge you, it won’t be able to change you.
Malcolm X once said, “The future belongs to those who prepare for it today.” Your goals can be short-term or your goals can be for the long term, but it’s how well you achieve your short-term goals that will define your how you will live tomorrow. As everyone who has or taken college know that it isn’t easy, you can’t just blow by college, without studying for your classes or making it to your classes 10-15 minutes late, so to prevent these things from happening we set goals for ourselves such as, not to procrastinate, go to all your classes, and get there 10 minutes early, surround yourself with smart people and to learn from them, etc. But overall, having goals can prove to have a dramatically positive change in your life because not only does it give you control of your future but it also gives you a sense of purpose in your life.
