My health campaign is about Obesity. I will be planning a small-scale health education campaign on Obesity. I started off by producing a health campaign which was about Obesity and aimed in on people who were between 13 to 19 years old. Obesity can lead to serious health illnesses such as Coronary Heart Disease, High Blood Pressure, Stroke and Type 2 diabetes and in order to prevent these illnesses, health education campaigns are created to warn people about the effects of Obesity. National health campaigns There are many different national health strategies which are used in order to help encourage harmful effects of Obesity on the health of people. The Government has produced a target on tackling Obesity in the UK. The Government has begun a health living campaign to stop the increase in the Obesity rates in the UK. It includes television adverts which warn people that too much fat can lead to Type 2 diabetes, heart disease and Cancer. Every Child Matters Every Child Matters is a type of green paper which was published in 2003 by the government. The Every Child Matters green paper is also known as Every Child Matters: Change for Children. This green paper had provided the legislative basis for developing effective as well as accessible health and social care services. Target setting The strategy the Government has created is called “Change4Life - eat well, move more, live longer”.
