Crunch, Crunch. As soon as my feet hit the noisy, rocky,dust/dirt road, I instantly felt so much better. After all, and hour car ride wouldn’t be too relaxing. I had just taken in the beautiful scenery and fresh air, in Paia, Maui. Me and my family got out of the car and we put on sunscreen as I put my hair into a braided bun so that it didn’t get too warm. “Hey, Audra do want to go look at that building over there?” My Dad suggested with curiosity all over his face. “Sure!” I said. So we headed to the tall, simple building to see what was inside. When we got there, we saw a gift shop, and an area with a bunch of cool things in display cases with information mounted on them. We waited for a long dreadful, hot, 25 minutes until we finally got on the boat. I stepped on and immediately felt the boat bobbing up and down. I went down the stairs into the lower portion of the boat and chose a seat. You could see everything that was there. You could see the wood from the dock, you could see the moss underwater, the tadpoles, the other fish, the coral in the distance. Everything underwater, you could see. It was so pretty. I could feel the vibration under my feet as the boat moved forward, I could hear the oohs and aahhhs of the little children when they saw the fish. I could taste the salty sea air. I could feel the nice breeze hitting my face as I looked at all of the islands around us. When I felt better, I went back below and saw that the scuba divers had just jumped in and were trying to find some sea creatures, soon, they brought up a sea urchin and brought it up to the window so that everyone could see and inspect it. They did the same with a few more interesting animals like a starfish. I got seasick again so I had to go back up on top of the boat until the end of the ride. I loved the boat ride, but it felt amazing, but also weird to be back on the land. “Ugh”, I groaned. My legs were so sore and I too warm and hungry. My dad wanted to eat, too.
