My Hometown

My hometown Bergenfield, New Jersey is like many cities in the north. Bergenfield is full of rich history and great food for visitors to partake in. The growth of Bergenfield began slow with small residents and then later started to form its own with the help of the state of New Jersey and New York helping to build the George Washington Bridge. When Bergenfield was discovered on June 25, 1894 by a railroad company the city was laid out as Bergen Fields stamped on the tickets.

Our Town by Thornton Wilder continues to be a timeless theatrical work performed pervasively throughout the world. This play remains a modern classic due to Wilder’s ingenuity in capturing the quintessential expression of the life cycle. Wilder segmented his play into three acts; each act broadly encompassing a different phase in a person’s life. The play presents the audience with situations parallel to the ones almost everyone faces during their lifetime. This, in conjunction with breaking the fourth wall, allows for the audience to feel a part of the performance. The title of the play itself lends to this feeling, for it is not my town or your town, but it’s Our Town. This play emphasizes the idea that in the grand scheme of things, all

China is the 3rd largest country in the world, with a total area of approximately 22,117 km. Located in Eastern Asia, between North Korea and Vietnam, it is bordered by a total of 15 countries, and has access to three seas, the East China Sea, Yellow Sea and South China Sea, and the Korea Bay.

China is located in the far east side of Asia. They have very rugged mountains in the west, some of the tallest in the world. The story is set in a remote community named Wirrawee in a 21 century context. This is stated through out the book. “Lee lived in town, like Fi. "Lee and Fi, from Wirrawee" we used to sing.”(Ch 1. P15) This Town is rural and right next to a formidable mountain range. The author describes the town and its surroundings with in the book with: “Way in the distance you got glimpses of the rich farmland of the Wirrawee district, dotted with houses and clumps of trees, the lazy Wirrawee river curving slowly through it. And on the other side was Hell” (Ch 2. P19) Wirrawee is a country town with many farms surrounding it. It is a small tight night community who live directly next to a large mountain range which is quite mysterious and majestic. The

China is located in East Asia. Ancient China is surrounded by Gobi Desert in the north, the Pacific Ocean in the east, the Himalayan Mountains in the southwest, and the Taklimakan desert in the west. This land has a wide variation of animals because of the different habitats provided for them. Most farming was done in the very fertile lands of the Yangtze valley. Present China is much bigger than Ancient China, which means that over time, the kings and different dynasties went gaining more and more land and wealth.

8. Shared experience with a classmate, both agreed it was a great play that involved the quality of life.

Geography plays a big role in ancient China. To start off, China is a very isolated country. The location of ancient China is the eastern part of Asia. To be more specific, Bejing China is located 40 degrees north and 116 degrees east. Shanghai is located 31 degrees north and 122 degrees east. Ancient China has many features that define it. For an example, it is built along two main rivers. They are the Yellow River and the Yangtze river. But it also has mountain ranges, deserts, and plains. The Grand Canal had a big role in ancient China. It was China's core economic and agricultural region away from the Yellow River, valley in the north and toward the southern provinces. The Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City is China’s most well know famous architecture. They had to change the land to build these two famous structures. Citizens of ancient China traded and got around to other countries by the Silk Road. Geography played a huge role in ancient China.

My journey starts long ago in of Egypt around 100 B.C.E. I’m a very skilled Iron worker. Actually one of the best among the people. I’ve decide that I would takes my skills to the China and being among the people of the Qui dynasty. It wasn’t easy journey it toke nines year for me to reach china. When I get there it’s a totally new world. It’s cooler, moist and felled with lust forest. The animals, trees and even the people look totally different. As I walk along on a stone road I’m confronted by old man. His name his says is Zha Shen. Luckily along my travels on my camel I was able to pick up the language along going further into china. He says “you aren’t around from around here I see, your darker than us and wear odd clothing and have brought weird tools we have never seen what brings you go the Qui Dynasty land.

Beijing holds many magnificent sights that set national or even world records, including the Great Wall, the longest man-made structure in the world; the Forbidden City, the largest and best preserved ancient architectural complex in the world; and Tian'anmen Square, the largest city square in the world.

Zhang Zeduan’s masterpiece depicts the landscape of his hometown, Kaifeng and the life of its people during the Song dynasty. Nearly 500 years later, Qiu Ying portrayed his hometown Suzhou in a similar way, but in his version, the scenes are different to the original version. Compared to Zhang, Qiu Ying added more blue-and-green landscape patterns, and the feeling of the artisan is not strong in this work. The most important thing is that both artists show different visual perspectives of the culture and customs of the city.

It is no doubt about it that everyone has somewhere that they have adapted to long enough to call it there home! A place they can relax and really be their selves, for some it may have been their grandparents house, aunties house or wherever they felt comfortable. Well I of course felt comfortable in my own home, a four bedroom house on the west side of North Miami. My home in Miami was perfect I had my own room, I was very comfortable there, and it was a place to get away from the world.

Confucius was a philosopher that has been highly associated of a saint of godlike figure even with temples devoted to him. His ideas were importance since China wants to be represented as Confucian and Communist that complement one another. Hence, the author devoted the first and one whole explaining about Confucius himself then slowly expanding into his contribution to China as a whole to build a big picture.

Linyi is my hometown, and I am deeply in love with my hometown. Linyi is a beautiful place. There are flowers, grass, mountain, water, fresh air. The people here are sincere, hardworking, simple and kind. Always working for the city and work hard. Linyi is a prefecture-level city in Shandong Province, which is the largest and most populous city in Shandong Province. It is located in the southeast of Shandong Province, near the Yellow Sea, east of sunshine, west Zaozhuang, Jining, Tai 'an, north Zibo, Weifang, south of Jiangsu. Prefecture-level Linyi City jurisdiction Lanshan, Luo Zhuang, Hedong 3 District and Tancheng, Lanling, Junan, Yishui, Yinan, Pingyi, Fei County, Mengyin, Linshu 9 counties. My family in Yishui county.
