“Work Like a Fool, Dream Like a Genius.” Ban Ki-Moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations, said through his biography. This quote shows how to live properly to all people in the world. It also shows how important it is to have a dream. Some people might say that having a dream is worthless to live in the reality because even though people have a dream, most people cannot make those dreams come true. Consequently, people compromise with the reality, and they choose profitable jobs regardless of what they really want to do in the future. However, I believe that I can achieve what I want out of my life through what I did in the past, what I do in the present, and what I will do in the future regardless of whatever hardships of the reality will block my way.
The most important goal in my life is becoming a director. The first time that I was determined to be a director was two years ago. Two years ago, I didn’t have a dream. I didn’t know what I do well and what I wanted to do. I just thought which occupations I should choose to earn a lot of money. While wondering what I could do for a better future, one of my friends suggested I make the video of the opening ceremony for the festival of the church. She said if I make the video for her, she will give me 200 dollars. Although I didn’t learn how to make the video, I accepted her offer to receive 200 dollars.
