My life purpose is to live a happy, healthy life and have a good support system, like my friends and family. I want to be as happy as I can and I want my family to be very happy as well. I think being healthy and having a good support system plays a big role into being happy. I want to eat healthy and exercise regularly. I would like for my friends and family to support me with anything I do, but I also want them to be honest with me if I ever have an idea that isn’t very smart or realistic. In order to have a good support system, I will need to support them and back them up. We need to back each other up in any situation. I want my friends and family to be honest with me no matter what. Once lies start coming into my life, my happiness will slowly fade away. My main life purpose is to have a good support system and to live a happy, healthy life. A SMART goal I would like to focus on is that I want to get close with my professors early on in the semester and I will introduce myself when I first meet them. When I’m not close with my professors, it could cause some problems. If I don’t have a relationship with them, they might not help me as much because they will feel like I don’t really care about getting to know them. They may help me more if I have a close relationship with them. I will enjoy going to class and I will be more comfortable asking for help. Having a good relationship to my professors will show that I care about school and my grades, and usually when you
It's a fundamental belief of mine that each one of us is brought upon this world with a major definite purpose in life. Everyone has a unique destiny for contributing to this world using their unique blend of talents and passions. I have no doubt that most people today work hard and stay busy with daily activities. The problem I've noticed is that many people live their lives without any sense of meaningful purpose that gives their lives passion and significance. They get caught up in the daily mechanical routines of life and they become creatures of habit rather than purpose-driven beings. Finding and shaping your major definite purpose is perhaps the most important thing that you will ever do in your life because your purpose is the driving force that spawns all the achievements that you will ever accomplish and it provides that unlimited source of motivation that drives you to achieve all the goals that you set for yourself and enables you to live life to the fullest.
• To live every day for the betterment of my life and the lives of those around me.
For this school year my goals academically are not only to keep a high gpa, but to also build fundamental relationships with the people in my classes. I plan on keeping a high gpa by not procrastinating and sticking to a schedule. However, to build those vital relationships I plan on pushing myself to make that connection and not be tempted to resort back to a comfort zone. During the spring semester I hope to get an on campus job,
I believe every individual on Earth exists to make a difference, whether it is to provide care, entertain, educate, or enforce the law and dispense justice. It is our duty to go out into the world and explore what we are capable of. To me, the purpose of life is to follow the journey of our existence and discover how much of an impact we can make in the lives of others. I have devoted my life to being of service to those that surround me. I thrive on being a source of inspiration and motivation to others, which is why becoming a Physician Assistant (PA) is my ultimate goal; it is my dream job.
“I believe that the purpose of life is to be happy”-The Dalai Lama. I believe the Dalai Lama’s purpose to hold a certain amount of truth. For me it means to bring this about in the lives of others around me. That the people around me would know they are loved and that they can be content in all situations. That my life would not be self-seeking, but Christ centered.
Knowing what is wrong and right, assist us in understand the purpose of life. Life’s purpose for humanity in general and Christians in specific is to worship God. Along with our worship of God, we are to maintain meaningful relationships with other people; including leading them to salvation, work hard and to take care of the earth and what has been given to us. We are to do this so that we can one day join him in heaven and spend eternity with him.
My children are my overall purpose that reflect all aspects of me including career, academics, and everyday life. My academic purpose is to achieve and maintain high grades with undivided focus to be able to be the role model my children need, and to influence them in a positive way on the importance of education. My career purpose is to be in an Executive office position that I know I will enjoy and that will also provide stability as well as the assurance of accommodating adequately for my family. My personal purpose is to remain humble, optimistic, and keep a positive attitude towards any obstacle I may face. I decided on these important purposes to ensure the happiness and well-being of my most important purpose in life and my most prized value, my children, as well as a joyous and prosperous life for myself.
I will develop this goal my making sure I have time to call my mom. I know that when freshmen’s come to college, they lose contact with their family, but I will need to talk to a familiar person to help me with stress that comes with college. Another Smart goal is to make sure I always have a First Aid Kit and check in with health center at least once a month for the rest of the year and when I feel bad for the this school year. I developed this goal because I hate getting sick and I heard that many students get sick easily with many people around. Professional goals are very important because they set your future up. The more I get connected professionally, the easier my time will go here at the University of Maryland. My other goal is to get the connections with a professor this coming school year. Connection with the professor and other authority figures is really important for me because it will help my final and most important goal. For my final goal, I want to maintain a 3.0 GPA for this coming academic year. I was fortunate to receive a full ride to University of Maryland but I will need to maintain a 3.0 GPA. I will work hard because I am confident that with the resources I have help from
In life one of the biggest question I have always asked myself is. What is my purpose in life? To help me understand what the concept required, I had to dig in deeper from a Christian worldview of what God has planned for me. In this paper I will briefly talk about How my worldview has change my perspective on how I view myself as a Christian, my job, academics, citizenship and how it has help me to become a better steward for Christ.
Throughout the history of philosophical theories there have many shifts of thought, one of the most dramatic would certainly be the change from focusing on ideas of God and the proving of God’s existence to thoughts on the “death of God” and ways to find meaning in life despite his absence. This shift is demonstrated by the changing tone of the writings of Anselm and Descartes to the writings of Feuerbach and Nietzsche. This change happened for a variety of reasons including but not limited to the proving of scientific facts that did not coincide with religious beliefs (evolution, the sun is the center of our galaxy, etc.), the changing societal structure that reduced religious involvement in everyday life and the doors opened by past philosophers. This change is clearly seen through that differences between the writings of Descartes and the writings of Feuerbach.
My purpose for living is for others. I try and make a valiant effort to be the friend who everyone can confide their problems and issues with. I want to know if they’re doing well and if not I want to be the one to be there to help. The only problem with this philosophy is that it’s flawed, you can’t serve two masters, you can’t dedicate all your time and energy into helping others without degrading yourself and your relationships.
What is your life purpose? This might be a reflective question that is hard to answer for all of us because it requires time to think and understand ourselves. It does not simply mean what you want to do in life but it reflects more deeply that what make you happy and matter you the most. Life purpose is what you value and can motivate you to achieve the success. From the article how will measure your life ? written by Dr. Clayton M. Christen, the author mentioned that most people have little idea about their life purpose. They don’t have a clear idea what is important and meaningful for their life. The author focused that it’s essential for everyone to take time and ask themselves about their life purpose because it’s the best way of learning
There are so many lessons that I have learned along this journey a mission in life is not to merely survive but to thrive.
First of all, having a clear purpose in life is what guides the person on how to use their life and for what reason. A person might not find or
