Traveling gives us a lot of great memories we can always look back on.ALSO DON’t USE WE My most unforgettable moment was my trip to Cancun, Mexico in the spring of 2015. It was one of the most amazing and memorable moments that I experienced in my life. The two weeks there were full of fun adventures that wereNO THAT WERE spent with my family, which brought us closer, something that we will never forget.
After the 12 hour flight, we went to our luxurious hotel room, we unpacked everything and got settled. After we got settled, we explored the hotel and while we were exploring we found these game boards, like chess and checkers they weren't normal sized pieces, but enormous pieces. SO? THAT’S IT? DID U PLAY? The hotel was outside by the sandy beach it had a gym, arcade, a swimming pool, restraint, and a cafe. After we got settled, my siblings and I went to the swimming pool. The swimming pool had a bar and a statue that looked like a palm tree with coconuts. From the bar, we always ordered a chocolate milkshake or a piña colada. While we were at the pool, the owner’s son, was having a birthday party. There were different games like limbo, tug of war, musical chairs, and we danced until the fun was over. The evening before we left, there were people doing tricks with fire and people telling mythical stories. The evening ended with fireworks and people doing tricks on a jet ski. GOOD STORY ABOUT RAT BUT NEED SMOOTHER TRANSITION INTO THIS On the last day, there was a rat in our
The year was 2015 and in my mind it was going to be one of the most pivotal moments in my life. I was turning 16, getting my driver’s license, inching closer toward adulthood, gaining my independence, and free from adult responsibilities and worries. What I did not know was that one catastrophic event would have such a devastating impact on my life.
I got home and I thought I might take a few shots before I start sleeping and went to the garage to find my baseball bat missing. I was about to sob at how rough the day was. I chose to go upstairs and suddenly I slipped and fell. “Ouch,” I screamed. Luckily it was only the fourth step so I knew there wasn’t any damage done to my body except for maybe a bruise. As I was laying on the floor moaning, I turned my head and the bump was beside me. I screamed like a girl and was about to blackout. Right before my eyes closed there was a rat sitting on my baseball bat with some snow, and at that moment I blacked
This essay is based on an event that changed my life forever. It is a passage that is mixed with feelings and emotions. This experience gave my life a purpose and a sense of direction. It allowed me to grow from a boy to a man in just one day.
The time I went to Las Bahamas was a very special time for me and my family. In there I had a lot of good memories but I think that some are more special that others.
The morning was cold cause the Furnace did not work which probably the reason the houses pay requirement was so low to buy. I got but of course my parents were gone to work already so I though maybe to Facebook my friends in Florida but my father did not know how to start the wifi so i proceeded into the basement to hook the network up. As i slowly stepped down the steep old stairs i began to see an array of board games very amused I tried to grab one but then a very dark feeling came over me and I felt way too sick to move. I lie there on the floor crying praying for the moment to end. Just then I awoke in the car with all of the luggage on our way the our cozy new yorkers
Getting close to the campus, I was very bored(participial) along with my brothers, the whole family was getting tired. Finally, we arrived at the campus it was dark now, it was nice I just didn’t think much of it. We dove around for a bit and finally we stopped at Gunthers, an old hotel(appositive). It was a very eerie place, one of the creepiest places I have ever been too, it was like a ghost town. We got our room key and began walking to our room, it had dead animals, and creepy baby dolls behind glass displays, flickering lights, also zero other people in there. I did not like the feeling of the place at all. When we arrived at our room, a blast of frigid air hits me in the face. It had a mysterious smell too it, I did not like it at all so I went to bed immediately so I could get out of there as soon as possible. We woke up around eight in the morning. We were headed to a place called Dan’s
We check in the hotel and my dad gives us the key to me, Jasmine, Makayla, and Johanna’s room, so we finally get in our hotel and my mom wanted to take a nap for a hour then we were goana go eat at a restaurant on city walk. Makalya wanted to go look around the hotel and see what was around so we all did while my parents were ready to go eat. My dad calls me hour later and said my mom woke up from her nap and we all were hungry so we told them to hurry. We all decide to eat at this sushi place at city walk, all of us really enjoyed the food. Then my dad payed for the bill and we walked around to see what we were gonna do
One of the best memories for me is when we went to Great America last year. One reason for that being my best memory is because
If you have lived for any length of time, you probably had a defining moment. I experienced my defining moment in the summer of 2010 when I was six years old. You may not think a child that young could have a defining moment, but you would be wrong. Moreover, our experiences as children help to shape our personalities, our outlook on life, and what fears and anxieties we develop. My defining moments happened on a trip to The American Museum of Natural History.
Everything seemed so beautiful, and new. We soon arrived at the hotel in which we were to be staying at and where my mother’s convention was to be held also. We all had gotten out the car and unloaded it, so that my dad can park it. My mother walked in, me, my brother, and my grandmother following behind her. She proceeded to check in and we continued to follow her to the elevator, down the hall, and proceeded into our set room. I flopped on the bed and soaked in the comfort of the plush hotel bed. My mother had to change and get down to her meeting downstairs, and proceeded to do so. My father had walked in the room and helped her get ready as my brother and I were applied the task of finding the television channels. After my mother had made her way to her meeting, Curtis and I proceeded down stairs to the pool room, where we had splashing fun for almost two hours, until our mother had came to get us. We all had returned upstairs and we had asked our mother how her meeting went. She replied that it went very well and proceeded to open the hotel room door. We walked in, our grandmother laying on the bed and our dog right beside her. We all had watched television until we all retired to our beds for much needed
The definition of fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. One of my most memorable moments of my life was the first time I went to Disney Land I was terrified but because of this trip I found out how to face my fears.
Having defining moments, critical choices and pivotal people in your life is very important. Its something to base your life off of, having these key parts in your history is what built you to who you are today. It builds character and helps you learn the right and wrongs in life. I believe without having defining moments, critical choices and pivotal people in your life whether they are something as small as a coach teaching you a new play to maneuver, or a bumper on bumper car crash that sent you to the hospital for stitches can look small but have a deep impact on your life. Using these incidences to build your life can make you the person who you are today.
Priorities. The ambivalent, nebulous pecking order that exerts reasonable control over each and every one of our lives. Their complex meaning combined with their personalization make them one of the things that can help define the humanistic self-concept. People tend to attach themselves to the very idea of their priorities, fearing they might lose a part of themselves if they were to change the list. Personally, I was that same way. I never in my wildest dreams thought mine would ever change very much. Swimming would always come first, followed by academics, then my obligations to family, friends and God, and lastly everything else fell beyond that, seemingly insignificant. However, one event, and the ripple effect from it, would change this thinking forever: the day my asthma started.
“Someone will notice that we are gone and call the cops! I shouted. After that remark, they grabbed a piece of silky cloth and tied it around our mouth, so we couldn’t talk. They left while laughing hysterically. We tried to escape, but after a while we stopped struggling because we knew that it was useless. We could hear something in the distance, (because we were blindfolded we couldn’t see). We recognized there voices, it was our parents. When they reached the island, they ran toward us and started untying and hugging us. “Thank goodness you are alright. We were worried sick! We wouldn’t have found you if it weren’t for one of the passengers that saw everything from the bathroom. We hopped on the small boat and left the island. It was about 8:30p.m. by the time we got back. Our moms introduced us to the woman that saw the bad guys take us. She must have been in her early twenties, because she didn’t look very old. In the morning my mom turned on the news and after a few weather reports, we heard that the two crooks were caught in a local hotel in Hawaii. It turns out that they robbed 6 other places and were on top 10 most wanted for the cops. Now that will be the most exciting and most remember able vacation
I was supposed to go camping that evening, but little did I know that I was going to be spending the next three days in a hospital fearing for my brother’s life. This is my story about the scariest moment in my life, when my brother was on the edge of dying.
