On 08/04/16 at 8:42pm, I was dispatched to 2087 S. Hamilton Rd, on a injury dangerous or vicious dog/injured dog, serious injury, involving a Columbus Police Officer (CPD) being bit by a dog and shooting dog. I arrived at the location. I was advised my CPD personnel that the CPD Officer that was bite was transported to the hospital and that the dog was still breathing. I was escorted to the area where the dog was. The dog was on the ground, next to the dog was dog owner Jackie Fate. I was unable to see any visible injuries to the dog, the dog had shallow breathing. I asked Ms. Fate to wrap the leash around the dog’s mouth to prevent the dog from biting her or me while I placed the dog on the stretcher. Ms. Fate complied, I slowly guided the dog on the
I believe in having responsibility for my actions for the rest of my life. Responsibility can earn me a ton of things, such as money and treats. If I do an action or sometimes help my mother with an action, I gain a dollar or two or my mom gives me a treat, like Sweet Frog’s. In this case, I wouldn’t mind being responsible because it involves something that I care about dearly.
cancer is the enemy. cncer kills over 20 thousand people a day occording to global report. this terrole disease is so common 12.7 million people a year find out they have cancer and of that number rouggly 7.6 million die. cancer being the leading cause of death world wide has led to several fundraisers to support our courageous fighters. a fundrauser i have been lucky enough to participate in is a 5k run/3k walk. i was 13 when i partocipated in my first 5k run/3k walk in stuttgart germany for a light the night for all kinds of cancers. pervous to the fundraiser i was sadly told my cousin who was just a baby at the tome had been diagnosed with luekimia. immediately i wanted to help, i began by spreading the word around my school and having my friends buy tshirts titled
November 26th, 2004, and there is a sea of burnt orange everywhere at Darrell K
When I joined the military, I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into. It is one of the main reasons why I decided to join the Reserves and not Active duty. The other main reason was because I knew the Reserves would still pay for college while I was only active one weekend a month. Growing up in Killeen, Texas – I was right beside one of the largest Army post which is Fort Hood. I had a lot of friends whose parents were in the military, and two distant cousins who were also in the service. All I knew, (or thought I knew) was they had good money.
A few years ago cheerleading was a huge part of my life. I was on two competitive teams that worked hard three days a week to perfect our routines. When we were not practicing we were encouraged to attend open gyms which were aimed at practicing our tumbling skills. I attended the open gym being held one day not knowing that it would be my last. As I landed a one handed cartwheel my knee was twisted so drastically that I heard a loud pop that followed up with intense pain. After icing it and resting for a few days, I started to interpret my pain as being more serious due to the fact that it was giving out on me while doing daily tasks. I also had two close friends that had torn ligaments in their knees that needed repaired with surgery, so
Good morning, like Megan said I am Desirae Hertling. I am currently in my last month of high school at New Ulm Public and I plan to attend South Dakota State University next fall.
I never would think about showing an animal. I decided to go wild and show a steer my junior year, I did not think about showing an animal so big before but it was worth the wild. I knew it would be hard work, dedication and responsibility. I worked so hard to get where I wanted that steer and it sure did pay off. Being successful is something that someone feels when they work for something that they tried so hard on and then succeeded in it. Success is the way I felt when I was getting ready for the show while I was standing to be called in my class and how I felt when I got out of the show ring.
As a Lieutenant in the Northfield Village Fire Department I was responsible to respond to and supervise fire suppression and medical emergency duties by evaluating situations, supervising and coordinating operations, ensuring personnel safety, coordinating emergency incident response, conducting overhaul operations to minimize smoke and fire damage, determining cause. During emergency and training operations I worked closely with other department coordinating emergency operations using the incident command system. I was also responsible for preparing and provide training classes for station personnel, completing fire and EMS reports, preparing correspondence and maintaining personnel records.
Day1: Today was my orientation day, I was given a green t-shirt with the champions logo on it to wear every sunday I volunteered for. I was expected to be there at 10:45. My hours were 10:45-12:30, 12;45 the latest depending on how long the service carried on for. When I come in I ought to watch over all the kids as they arrived one after the other. I had forms I had to take home and bring back in as well as a teacher handbook to complete.
The storm hit like a speeding bullet. It spun the world upside down, heavy rain blurring the edges of reality. Swollen clouds darkened the sky, drenching the earth with freezing water.
I can feel the tension in my muscles as the crowd readies itself for the main event.I prepared myself for the final match through boxing, dodging swings, running laps, inhaling when I hold back a punch and exhaling when I release the force of my punch.Without a doubt Gabriel has trained just as hard as I have and I still cannot beat him, until now.I felt more confident than ever as I walked out into the waiting eyes of the audience.I have climbed over many obstacles to get to the grand finale and I plan on seeing this fight to the end.
“Break!” the three judges called simultaneously. The two competitors rushed back to their spots anxious to see who had scored the point that time. “Judges call points!” the center judge commanded. At the same time, all three judges raised their red flags in the air giving competitor Will Franken another point. It was the final round in the youth 4th degree black belt sparring competition. These two competitors had won every round they had been thrust into, and now they were battling each other for the gold medal at the Tiger Rock Martial Arts world tournament in Nashville, TN.
It was one of those days that just felt like everything was going to be all right. I did what I regularly do when I wake up, brush my teeth, put on my clothes, and then go and play. I was just a few years old, and to me just running around was fun. Me and my brothers were outside just like most kids would be. There were birds chirping all around us and there were also different kinds of animals. We were outside for a very long time and we were having fun so the time just flew by, and it turned from birds chirping to the sound of crickets making noise.
