My philosophical methodology of learning is mixed and I would not have it any other way. Each individual student does not learn in the same way so why should I teach every lesson in the same way or style. Finding the correct balance between direct instruction and a constructivist approach can help reach a wider range of students and learning styles. Combining a strong traditionalist perspective with a touch of progressive and humanistic instruction will help to expand the influence made on our youth today. Introduction Teaching is my calling. It is what I was blessed and sculpted to become. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance …show more content…
(Titus 2:7-8, NIV) Worldview & Philosophy of Life Our existence is to reflect the nature and character of God in our lives. Humans were created to reflect God’s character and to glorify His name. Our purpose for living must take into account our calling in life; we are able to do what God called us to do. We must use the gifts God has given us to do His work, worship Him, and partake in fellowship with God. ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind’. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Matthew 22:37-39, NIV) I came to the understanding at a very young age that God intended for me to teach our youth. I was not raised with a strong religious background but rather with a strong spiritual one. My faith and relationship with God has guided my decisions my entire life. As others pushed me to use my intelligence to gain prestige and attend a prominent university, I chose to follow the path that I believe God had created for me. In doing so, not only have I honored God and his intentions for my life, but I have been blessed with true happiness. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. (1 Corinthians 15:10, ESV) Philosophy of Schools & Learning As I learned in my Advanced
The Bible tells us that man was newborns, children, and adults are all here by the grace of God. Yes, as humans we add meaning and purpose to our life. However, our main purpose from day one is to worship him. (126)
Mankind was created to inhabit the earth (Genesis 1:26:28) God created mankind with an intentional purpose, to be dominant over all other creatures of the planet. We as humans live in the relevance of God and his word; although not executed with perfection. The main purpose for our lives is to serve and glorify God (Corinthians 10:31) It is in human nature to sin; however, forgivingness’ is given to those whom ask and regret sinful decisions and attempt to right their wrongs. Mankind was created in the image of God. We were created to serve and obey God, and to live by faith and obedient to God. (Genesis 2:15-17)
The Christian world view on life meaning and purpose is basic and yet different from other world views. Our main resolution in life is to work for God and have a strong connection with him at all times. First and foremost God desires to come first, and all else will tumble into place as long as we believe in him and have complete faith in him also. It is printed that we can only have one master (Matthew 6:24) and for that reason, God believes that serving him must be the highest significant thing for us to do with our period here on earth. In (Genesis 1:26-27 KJV.) We learn that all humanity was created in the image of God. Just like Adam and Eve we too are commanded to take care of the earth and create life. While human responsibility was made clear all humanity was susceptible to sin. To summarize Lecture 2. (2015), humanity’s purpose from the beginning of time has been to do good continually, learn wisdom be fearing the Lord and follow His example in deed and in thought.
In Christianity, the purpose of this life is to better your relationship with God and to know Him better. This is also proven in Job 22:21 that if you align yourself with God and are in harmony with that relationship that you will receive good things in this world.
According to a biblical worldview, mankind was created in Gods image. We are supposed to live life as he would and as he wants us to. God is a being of integrity, honesty, love, and kindness. How we live our life is to be a direct reflection of God himself. He gave us the world to care for as a shepherd cares for his flock. If we live life in his image as he meant for us to do so, then we gain entrance to heaven to have a chance at everlasting life (Wieder & Gutierrez,
The purpose of man is to praise and worship God, proclaim his glory, and to accomplish his will."… And whom I have created for My glory, …” (Isaiah 43:7 New International Version). God created all things in harmony. He established a perfect creation that he loves and over which he rules. The highest honor is given to mankind as the only part of creation made in God’s image. Humanity was created to love as God loves, to worship and praise his glory and commune with him as he does with us.
God has a unique purpose for each and every one of us. Sometimes life gets so busy that we forget what our purpose is in life, but God has a way of guiding
Isaiah 43:21 reveals God’s purpose in creating us; to give Him praise through worship. As a leader/minister, preaching the gospel, teaching, providing an environment conducive to growth and flourishing, reproducing the character of Christ, and leading others to worship and delight of God is my real responsibility. Matthew 28:19-20 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the ages.”
Theology – God’s general purpose for my live involves a list of commands. I am to worship him, to fulfill God’s great command, to proclaim God’s gospel through my words and actions, to expand God’s kingdom, and to fulfill God’s great commission. God’s great command involves loving him with
Many people in history, as well as my mentors, have influenced my personal learning philosophy about early childhood learning.
People and cultures the world over have tried to answer the question of one’s purpose throughout written history, with evidence of this question being asked even before then. One of the most common ways this is achieved is through religion (Tsipursky). There are hundreds of accepted religions in the world, and all of them have some sort of belief about the purpose of humankind, both as a whole and on an individual level. The Christian Bible, for example, has over one hundred separate versus pertaining to the purpose of
In this life, the Lord places us on earth for a purpose. That purpose is to glorify him and be witnesses. My individual purpose as a Christian includes placed on this earth includes bringing honor and integrity into the world of technology as a computer scientist, by creating systems for the good of the world and bringing out a positive outcome where there is lack of it as a computer scientist.
I believe we exist for one purpose. That purpose is to worship and reflect our Heavenly Father. He has given His instructions to us in the Bible. The Bible tells of how we are to administer the church, how we are to worship in the church and who is to have roles in the church.
Often people tend to question human nature as well as to what is their life purpose. Human nature are human’s traits as well as their feelings. People often tend to question why they were placed on Earth and what is their whole purpose of living here. As stated in Isaiah 43:7, “7 everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made”. Our main purpose as humans is to glorify
