Passionate, Curiosity to ask till you are convinced and Clarity such that it sounds simple but not simpler. The quench for this would be fulfilled by understanding the unknown and what lies undiscovered. Intrigued by the laws of nature I have always been inquisitive about science and technology and how it can be most useful to the society. Also over the years, I have developed a deep interest in a combination of technology and how it can be most useful to the society. I also have developed an interest in a combination of technologies using electronics and computers. My special inclination towards Electrical Engineering has been primarily because of subjects namely Microprocessors, Microcontrollers and Computer Organization which I learned during my undergraduate program. I am equally fascinated by the processors or microcontrollers used in our computers and smart phones and the amazing number of possibilities they can be made in. I am strongly determined to learn the working of these systems and pursue a research career in the same. Hence, I resolved that pursuing M.S. will be an ideal step towards the achievement of my goal. …show more content…
These topics have fascinated me ever since. When I studied the fundamentals of analog and digital signals, I almost decided that Digital Signal Processing will be the career for me. What got me more enthused in this area was when I learned about microprocessors. I had the opportunity to study some of the processors during my third and fourth (final) year of undergraduate. That's when I realized how the two fields could be merged together by having dedicated processors. I was certain that my interest in this will increase by taking Digital Signal Processing and Computer Architecture as electives in my final semester of undergraduate
Over the years, I have grown particularly fascinated with the abstract side of electronics, including the creation of programming languages and applications, especially for mobile devices, and the creation of artificial intelligence. I see the potential for computer programs and artificial intelligence to help humanity solve many of its most complex problems in entertainment, communication, and everyday life, and I believe a degree in Computer Science would help me become a part of this
For three out of the four years during high school I would go to another school for half of the day. At this school I learned about Electronics Engineering. Before this class I was curious about how things function, what makes the clock tick, or how did you receive that text message you just checked. Before this class all these things where just curiosities in my head, it was in this class that turned these
My good grades in pre-university opened the doors to one of the most prestigious colleges in the country and one of the most sought after branches, Electrical and Electronics Engineering as my graduate stream seamlessly fit in. Every subject in this discipline intrigued me in its own way. My passion for science and technology grew with time as I learnt about the various facets of my field of specialization. In college, I always enjoyed long hours in the laboratories. It gave me the opportunity to correlate theory to practical phenomena. This in turn gave me a better understanding, insight of the subject and newer line of thinking. Very soon, I began to appreciate the advancements in the technology and took a keen interest in Robotics and Internet of Things. The course in Electrical and Electronics covered a wide panorama of
Statement of Purpose Today, networking of every kind is fuelling the momentum of change. And in the process further transforming the way we live, work and play. The interplay and interconnections between various devices and systems is creating a world of surprises. To stay ahead in the fast changing world requires the ability to look beyond the present. Most new developments emerge in the USA and then spread almost instantly across the world. My country, India is also caught in the 'web ' of change creating exciting opportunities for youngsters of my generation. Indians are proving the worth of their merit and diligence on world platforms. The caliber to match international parameters is the vital need of the hour. This has motivated me
I have always believed in the above adage which asks for more and more learning and I am applying for graduate studies in order to quench my thirst for knowledge. The most important reason for pursuing graduate studies is that it will raise me to a level of excellence where upon I would have the ability to impart knowledge, convince and innovate in my field.
My true passion for engineering began when I came across the quote: "Technology are devices that make our lives better". Despite my first love of mathematics, my recent interest for engineering has come from two major influences. The first being my mathematics and physics teachers, both engineers by nature, who have helped me enhance the fundamental skills essential for engineering and embrace the importance of the field. The second being the learning about uses of technology in Computer Science, it taught me the magnitude of which technology contributes to our everyday lives has led me to intensify my desire to improve the lives of others.
“Did I win? Did I lose? Those are the wrong questions. The correct question is: Did I make my best effort?” If so, he says, “You may be outscored but you will never lose.”
I always wanted to get into the greatest of all Sciences, i.e. engineering. The good thing about Mechanical Engineering is that all my interests find application. Considered the most versatile field in engineering, Mechanical Engineering covers range of subjects like design, software, production analysis, manufacturing to name a few. This field demands high creativity, innovative thinking, very good hold on Math and most important to think radically. This triggers the pulses and is the very reason for choosing this as my field of study. My experiences as a student of …. the training, the projects, the tough targets etc. has brought me very close to realities of life and made me realize that starting from simple household gadgets to complicated medical equipment and supersonic jets to super-fast computers all are the gifts of Mechanical engineering and technology and I am indeed one of the privileged few
Scientific methodology, analysis and reasoning has had a significant impact in shaping my approach and developing a different learning aptitude towards academics; this soon flourished into a more specific interest in science. I got interested in electronics during my high school years itself when I was introduced to the topic of Circuit Theory in Physics. Hence to pursue undergraduate studies in a reputed college of engineering of India with electronics as my major became an obvious choice for me. Determined to go after the same, I prepared myself for the fierce competition. Two years of focused preparation fetched me a position in the top 0.3% among 1 million potential candidates in the national level engineering entrance examination- All
I have been very inquisitive and observant since my childhood. My family is closely related to machines as my paternal uncle owns a tool manufacturing factory. Right from my childhood, I have been intrigued by machines that I saw there. Good relations with my uncle and other people have paved my way towards choosing a career that is very closely related to machines. After passing my senior secondary school among top three students, I studied Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of technology, Kurukshetra after securing the 8719th rank in All India Engineering entrance examination among 1.2 million students in the year 2012. The 4 years of my undergrads gave me a plethora of academic and industrial opportunities which bolstered my theoretical understanding.
Personal Statement: Twenty years of education have brought me a deep appreciation for the study of the Power systems, Controls systems and Telecommunication. When the time came to specialize, my decision to major in Electrical Power Engineering was motivated by the hope of achieving a strong opportunity of creativity, research, and development. Electrical Engineering, with its myriad sub-domains and multi-faceted nature is a natural amalgamation that allows me to express my creativity and innovative power to bring about works that offer benefits to society. The tools and aims may be different, but designing and developing software/hardware or devising a novel mathematical proof is relatable to the work of artists in their shared spirit of creating. I view my decision to study Electrical Engineering as a natural means of fulfilling my need to create since it equips me with tools for the job: the ability to devise, test and evaluate Power systems and the programming knowledge required to implement them.
T As an Electronic Engineering graduate, I studied in China 's cradle of technological talents. Years of systematic learning, Electronic Engineering has conquered me entirely. Consequently, I submit this document for the acceptance of your Doctor of Philosophy program. Now, I am ready to gain the further and more professional studies.
We live in an era where most of everyday life is made easy by inventions and innovations. Majority of the inventions are done by integration of different technologies which allows the creation of complex applications to become a reality, thus emphasizing its importance. Such integration could do revolutionary changes in every aspect and helps reduce waste, times, costs, allows producing a broader range of products. This highlights the importance of the powerful tools and concepts of Mechanical engineering which when applied effectively can revolutionize the face of any system.
I took an admission for diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, A gained knowledge in the diploma prior to my bachelors degree has helped me to explore the field more rigorously throughout my bachelor curriculum.
