000864462 My Strengths and Weaknesses I believe that life is a learning experience. We must reinforce our weaknesses until there become our strengths. And also we are just human, not superman, we have our own weaknesses, we make mistakes, and we experience sadness, but we will learn from all these things to make us be a better person. As we know, success is achieved by developing our strengths, not by eliminating our weaknesses. For me, I said that the weaknesses are not a stumbling block to success, but it is an indispensable factor to the road of success. Now, I will share my personal strengths and weaknesses and explain how I plan to overcome my weaknesses in my life. One of my greatest strengths is I am a comparison people. I am a good helper towards those who need it tend to go to any limits while helping someone in trouble especially for helping dogs. The reason I love dogs because the dog is loyal and faithful to his master. His master might be a poor man or even a beggar, but, still his dog will not leave him to go with anyone else. Even human also don’t have such noble character. For lending a hand and spreading the message of responsible ownership and animal protection, I joined the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). Every weekend, I will spend my time helping the dogs in SPCA. I am really enjoying the moment together with them. In my future, I hope can give them more assistance. My second greatest strength is patient. Patient is my
I have a few weaknesses when it comes to school. One of my weaknesses is nervousness. I tend to get nervous when it’s time to take a test. Another weakness is thinking I will not succeed. I am always afraid that I will fail, and not move forward. I seem to always second guess myself when it comes to writing a paper or speaking in front a room full of people. I am working on each of my weaknesses.
Weaknesses I have had difficulty on is having to write essays. Every time my teachers assign me work to perform that involves writing an essay for instance, I tend to get frustrated. I would often spend hours trying to craft an idea on what to write about and how I should word it in my essay. An additional problem is when I read the paper to myself and looks fine, but when I turn the paper over to someone else, they do not find the point I was trying to convey. Then, I would have to verbally express the key ideas or meaning of the essay. My next two weaknesses are the ones that I still continue to kind of struggle. Those weaknesses are not finding the right words to write and being easily
Upon completion of the StrengthsFinder survey, I discovered that my five greatest strengths were Achiever, Discipline, Responsibility, Relator, and Competition. However, I was skeptical about the initial results until I read what each strength entails. I found most of the information given to be accurate. According to the description of those strengths, I discovered that I use them daily without realizing it.
When I took my strengths test I was not necessarily shocked with what I received, more with what I did not receive. I thought for sure that I would have received positivity because people are always telling me how positive I am. Through learning about my strengths I have come to realize that all five of my strengths together may be the cause of my positive attitude, and all five of my strengths working together constantly are what people see. My strengths are restorative, communication, input, strategic, and achiever.
I now know that my weaknesses particularly lack of confidence is through lack of knowledge in a specific area and can be boosted by improving my self management and allocating dedicated periods of time to a specific topic. This in itself will help me overcome the majority of my weaknesses and boost my confidence, in turn this will have a knock on effect in improving my assertiveness and concentration and avoid selling myself short. As stated by Chuck Gallozi Internet article 08.12.09 “Many are painfully aware of weaknesses that hold them back. Yet, surprisingly, they are unaware of their many strengths. Focusing on our weaknesses while ignoring our strengths can be a source of discouragement and failure. And glorifying our strengths while ignoring our weaknesses can be equally unproductive. It is only when we give equal weight to our strong points and faults that we can realise our potential. Also note that we must choose our friends carefully because each relationship nurtures our strengths and weaknesses. That is, we will grow better or worse, depending on whom we spend our time with. “ Choosing associates at University is not an option ,but I

The strengths and weaknesses of a committed actor can be paradoxical. For this area I chose to consult with an acting colleague of 17 years. I thought it was necessary to have an objective perspective to honestly describe what has been observed from someone that knows me, personally. The following paragraph from a close friend and veteran actor explains this quandary in her description of me.
My current strengths include; my honesty and passion towards my work. I have always been positive and confident regarding my aims and targets. Along with these, I am a good decision maker, due to which I can make right and quick decisions. Moreover, I have ability to motivate others and do team work. Trying to decide what your personal strengths are, is hard. For myself, I have grown in my strengths, and I’ve experienced my weaknesses. My personal strengths consist of: positivity, encouragement, laughter, and love. I pick these four because I feel that I am truly strongest in these aspects of my life. Being positive is a big factor in everything I do. I always want to be happy and joyful; not only to display Christ in me, but to make others feel the way I do. I want others to appreciate life and to feel any kind of uplift in his or her spirt. Positivity plays into encouragement. I make it my goal to make others feel better about themselves. My goal coming into college was to learn and know every person(s) name that I got the chance to meet. Just taking a few minutes out of your day to truly get to know someone, is such a blessing. It not only blesses me in new friendships, but it also blesses others because they feel that someone genuinely cares about them. Laughter is another characteristic I strive to pour out onto others. I laugh at practically everything. I love to laugh, and I love to make people laugh. I’ve learned the importance of laughter, and I just want to make one person smile every day. Love is my last of the four attributes. Love is so important to me. I love creation (Trees, birds, squirrels), God, and I love people. I just want the love that God has given me, to pour out onto others. I want others to know that I love them. These are my personal strengths
I believe that life is a learning experience and being able to recognize our own strengths and weaknesses can help us become better individuals in anything we choose to do, whether it is positive abilities and skills that can help achieve our goals or negative personal areas that need improvement. Knowing yourself and what you can do, can help you recognize and overcome your weaknesses.
As a communicator, I acknowledge that I have strengths and weaknesses. I was raised in a small country town and had an ethnocentric view on other cultures. After learning from lectures, I have become aware of this barrier and realised I needed to learn to understand other cultures. Now, I reflect on my behaviours and interactions. I acknowledge biases and plan to improve on difficult situations. I request feedback from my friends, family on my communication. This is now a strength, and has influenced my above average Meta-Cognition score of 5.5.
The purpose of this memo is to evaluate my listening skills, assess my strengths and weaknesses, and describe how I can improve my skills. My listening self-assessment score of 36 indicates that, although my skill level is decent, I have room to improve significantly. I regularly attend professional meetings where either informational listening or critical listening is required. Despite this, I consider my listening skills subpar and am aware of my need for improvement. In understanding how I can improve, I must first assess my strengths and weaknesses.
“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into visible” -said Tony Robbins, author and life coach. Everyone has challenges throughout their life, but people have strengths that can lead up to effect their future. We use our goals to keep us motivated and our strengths to help us get past the challenges we face. Our weaknesses fade because our strengths become so strong and we are faced with new challenges. With each challenge we overcome we become stronger and we find more strengths in our challenges. I am a great friend because I always care for my friends and i'm their shoulder to cry on. I'm a very strong-willed person because I don't give up on something I want easily. I’m stubborn because I
