Have you ever been on a vacation? To me a vacation is a time to be with friends or family. When I think of vacations, I think of packing, the flight or drive, and relaxation. Not only is it very exciting to go on a vacation, but you get closer to the people that go with you.
Linda, my best friend's mom had asked me if I would want to go with their family to Florida. When she asked me I thought she was kidding, but when she said, "I need to know because if you are I need to get you a airplane ticket," I knew she was serious. I was so excited I could have kissed her. I was going to Florida with my best friend, Lisa, and her family. The people from Lisa's family that were going were Tina, Randy, Ashley, and Linda. Tina is Lis'?s sister,

Although the drive was three hours the time went fast before I knew it we were at the airport.
I had never been on an airplane. My stomach felt like I had just eaten rotten fish and I was about to throw up. I was so excited to go, but at the same time I was scared because I had never been on a plane. We waited in the airport for at least an hour. Finally our flight was called, as I walked on the plane my heart was about to jump out of my skin. After the flight attendant had went through all the rules and we put our seat belts on the plane was going to take off. I thought the worst thing about the flight was taking off and landing. I didn?t like taking off and landing because my ears popped. Other than the fact that my ears popped taking off and landing the flight went smooth, we didn?t crash. When the plane landed, I couldn?t wait to stand on solid ground again.
When I got off the plane the first thing I saw was a giant palm tree. It wasn?t like the palm trees you see in pictures. This palm tree was kind of ugly it was about thirty feet tall, the leaves at the top looked like they were dead, and it was leaning to the right. Other than that palm tree it was a beautiful day. It was ninety seven degrees, but it didn?t feel like Minnesota?s ninety seven degrees because there wasn?t much humidity. Before we could leave we had to wait for
When my mom, dad, sister, and I woke up at three a.m. on Saturday, I felt such a buzz of excitement, that I wasn't even tired! This was going to be my first time out of the country! My family quickly got ready and ate breakfast. Then, we drove for about thirty minutes to get to the airport.
Today I am going to tell you why I want to go to Florida. I have 2 things, why I would love to go to Florida food, near the ocean and sunny all day. I just think I would love it.
The 2017 trip to Orlando was great. I was in serious need of some days off from work, and that trip provided that. I know that most of you did not make it, but you were greatly missed. Those that made it, it was such a blessing to see you.
The summer of 2017, the Anderson County High School Band from Garnett, Kansas went on a trip to Florida. The band had to raise $1200 per person to go. We tried to fundraise as much money as possible. We did everything from raking leaves, to selling cookies. The band had not been able to do anything like this in a while. We were not going to miss out on the opportunity. Eventually the time came to head on our way.
It was just another day in paradise… the day I almost died. Okay I need to back up a little bit. I was on vacation in Florida. My parents, siblings, and grandparents were all there also. This quote comes to mind when I tell this story, “in the blink of an eye everything can change. So forgive often and love with all your heart. You never know when you may not have that chance again.”
As the plane made its way around for landing, the rigid and uneven surface of Arizona came into view. There was almost nothing to see besides the desert itself. Excitement fluttered through my body as the plane landed, and people exited the plane. Annoyance, problems, and stress were forgotten on the plane when we finally walked out into the glistening sun.
Day 1-Daniel has just finished defeating number two and he is going to go on vacation for 4 days to the bahamas. Daniel thinks it will be a nice break from work and just wants to relax but with his type of job there is no break. It is august 23 and it's the day they leave, but little does Daniel know john got a private jet for him,his 4 friends, and family. It was two hours before they landed in a open area and that's when all of them but Daniel realized that there in the bahamas. They flagged a taxi down and went to there hotel which was a hilton. By the time they got all organized it was already 8:46pm and they were all exhausted so they went to sleep to prepare them for the next day.
Three hours later the intercom announced “WE ARE NOW ARRIVING IN ORLANDO FLORIDA”. I was very excited to even be on the trip I could not stop cheesing after touching down on surface. Mom was relieved after being in the air for three to four hours. While heading to our condo I explore my mind into the Florida atmosphere.
When I first stepped on an airplane, I was just a 7-year-old little girl who was excited to explore a humongous aircraft. When I saw the size of the airplane, I was just astonished to see how immense and accommodating it was. When I entered the plane, the crew helped me and my parents find our seats. As we settled into our seats, I was so glad to have a lot of space. When the plane took off, I was terrified by the sound and by the change in altitude. My ears popped and I started to cry unaware that the popping of your ear was normal. As soon as the plane stopped ascending, the crew started to distribute drinks and lunch. The food was so fresh and amazing that once I was full, I fell asleep. When I woke up I found out that only an hour was left
I put my bags up in the compartments, shaking, but also filled with excitement. I sit down when the plane is ready to start. My mom is trying to calm me down. It was like a dream. A 4-5 hour flight awaited. The plane starts going slower, then faster, rising, and rising until we are in the air. Feeling light like a feather. Now my heart beats to excitement. The sun is setting. Is almost dark, but I’m to excited to sleep. As we get higher we fly into a storm. It looks like glass
With the sound of my brother and father moving around in a hustle, I waked up from sleep, finding my mom dressing me and putting my socks on. Everything was gone and every surface was cleaned--I could not find even one place that seemed dusty. After about an hour, we caught a taxi and drove off to the airport. All the people in the airport fascinated me, so many people traveling at once. Meanwhile, I hated my first experience in the airplane: the seats were so uncomfortable, my ears really hurtled sometimes, and I was scared because everything seemed to shake. The flight was longer than I thought, but they gave me cards and mini coloring books so I was not really bored. After the long flight, we arrived in Korea, and the restaurants there had a similar taste to my mother’s food. Even though my home country was America, because Korean is my first language and Korean food is what I favor, Korea felt like my home
My parents and I happily trudged out of our chilled condo room, weighed down by various beach supplies. We made our way to the elevator, slowly but surely exiting the maze we call our condo hallways. As we glided down, floor after floor, we finally reached the parking garage. We stepped out of the elevator feeling a mix of humidity and heat immediately cling to our tan bodies. We exited the garage to find a beautiful scene. Birds were flying overhead as there were sun rays beating down against white, hot sand. We crossed the bridge that held shoes and scattered shells. After we did so, we pressed our feet against the white sand that belonged to Destin, Florida. The sight was even more alluring than I had ever imagined.
I woke up on an airplane. I gaze around and see my mom to my left, and my dad to my right. Then I remembered. We were heading to Hawaii. I sit up and look at the map hanging down from the roof of the airplane. The GPS said we are right on the shoreline. I tried to peek out the window, but we were in the middle section of the airplane. Soon enough I get a good look out the window and saw the island. I did a little ‘happy dance’ in my head. I couldn’t wait for the beach. Unfortunately, I was in long pants, and I frowned. It was hot too, and there was no air conditioning in the plane. I took off my blanket as the pilot came on a speaker.
When I was about ten years old my family started going on vacation over spring break nearly every year. In the past we had been to Colorado multiple times, Mexico, and Florida, which we loved enough that we decided to come visit again. It was March 18, 2017, my freshman year of high school. Mom and dad told my younger sister and me that we could each take a friend on vacation with us this year. We wanted to take people that would be okay with us all hanging out together, with this in mind we chose our cousins Adri and Ellie. One specific day of the vacation, we spent on the beach tanning, boogie boarding, eating ice cream, playing volleyball, and jumping waves. Jumping waves was my favorite part, we stood about forty feet out in to the ocean. I was usually the type to stay up on the beach lying in the sand under the glowing yellow sun soaking up some rays instead of actually going out in the water. I was completely content with my eyes closed listening to the ocean waves and squawking seagulls reaching that golden tan. On this day the other girls came to me as I chatted with mom in the sand and told me how exciting it was out in the water. I thought to myself “You know what, why not go try it out.” I walked out in to the water looking down at the colorful array of seashells. Gritty sand ran between my toes as the chill of the water rose up my legs the further I ventured. I caught a glimpse of a beautiful red shell shining through the water. I picked it up, and a small burst
My mom, my brother, and I decided we wanted to go on vacation. It was our first family vacation and we decided we wanted to go to Florida, where we used to live. My mom has a friend named Gigi who lives in Tampa, Florida and she said we could stay at her house for that week.
