What is a worldview? To have a world view means that you have created a personal opinion of life. Those opinions you have created, help you make decisions as well as help you learn how to portray the world around you. As to be expected, one man’s worldview will not be the same as yours but it is always good to share your views with other people to hopefully open their eyes to your perception on certain topics. Finally it’s also good to listen to other people’s views to expand your own personal knowledge on the Christian world view.

Christianity and Islam have some similarities in common. Both religions believe that God is the creator of all things and is powerful and all-knowing. Muslims also believe in angels and so do Christians. Angels are "a person who performs a mission of God or acts as if sent by God". Muslims and Christians both believe in Day of Judgment. After you pass, you will bow before the lord and he will determine whether you have followed or rejected his guidance. If you followed his guidance, you will be rewarded with paradise. If you rejected his guidance, you will be punished with hell.

The phrase “worldview” is a mental framework of all people and groups to interpret the nature of reality and the world we live in. It is philosophical, metaphysical or an ideological reality of the world we live in. The worldview is also used in understanding the law governing relationships among human beings, nature and the purpose of human life. They are attitudes and ideas about the world we live in and a thorough understanding of the systems of all the beliefs which hope will provide all the answers to the range of questions within ourselves as human beings. In the Book of Romans Paul wrote many letters answering questions about the human world, mankind’s relations with God, the natural world and most importantly the plan of salvation. The five pillars are very different from any other religion because all Muslims must know them and they are the key to Islam. They are Shahada, Salat, Zakat. Siyam, and the Hajj. The Hajj is a key step in the five pillars and it tells that a Muslim must travel to Mecca to participate in a series of rituals if money and heath is stable. Today’s society consists of many worldviews. Most people tend to pull beliefs from different religions, but often stick to one main worldview. A worldview to me is the gathering of beliefs that shape what we do on a daily basis and forms our overall view on life. When I look at my beliefs critically, I am able to see my worldview and see how it compares to different worldviews, but also how it compares mainly to the Christian Worldview.

There are many customs Muslims have to follow in their daily life, which includes prohibitions in earthly traits, roles of clergy, and initiative to converting to Islam. Muslims are prohibited from drinking alcohol, and using mind alternative drugs. They are also banned from eating any meat that is not butchered, and blessed by the Islamic way. Muslims are forbidden from stealing, killing, gambling, cheating being greedy, and disrespecting their parents. All in all, Muslims are prohibited from doing anything that is deem harmful to the body, mind, and soul. Muslims do not have an authority figure, and believe every individual has a direct connection to God. Unlike the Catholic faith, where they have priest to pray for the people in the church; there have been no hierarchy in the Muslim’s faith. Another way Muslims live their daily life is the way they converted to Muslims in the first place. There is no special ceremony to convert to Muslims. What is a worldview? How does it influence our daily lives? A worldview is how we see reality. It influences the way we live our lives. It influences the way we interact with each other. A worldview is a belief system of who we are, why we are here, and what our destiny is.

It is also believed in both religions that God will judge humans when the world has ended. The two religions have many similarities in their moral code and practices as well. Intoxication, homosexuality, and suicide are strictly forbidden and are considered morally unacceptable. Likewise, the two practice fasting, charity, and good works.
