As an 8-year-old child, the worlds scary place. Everywhere you look there’s something terrifying. From people the size of giants, roaming the streets, with no care what so ever with their surroundings or just realizing that in a few years would come the most difficult and emotionally unstable time of my life. Sure, those things may be slightly exaggerated, but what I do know is the most horrendous experience I had in the land of joy that ultimately ruined my love Disney for many years.
The most memorable trip my family has ever taken would be our trip to Disney World. My family and I have went to Disney three times, each time we have went I've had the best time of my life. Nothing could make me feel the way going to Disney with my family does. At Disney I have made memories that will last a lifetime. From the memories on the drive down to Florida to the memories we make while we are there. I remember the very first time I went, you can ride a ferry boat to get to Disney. We decided to ride over on the ferry instead of the monorail, just riding on the ferry was a different, and great experience from the rest.
The best trip I have ever been on would have to be our first family trip to Florida. I have been on many trips however it was the very first still a lot of my family has seen the ocean,or even left Tennessee. A eight day trip in a beautiful beach house surrounded by family gave us great memories and we go once a year ever since. My dream job would be doing anything that involves helping people I really enjoy having people leave happy. Maybe working in my own restaurant because I love too cook and food usually leave people smiling. There would be good food and Good music as well as kid friendly so, the entire family could enjoy themselves. I have a dog she is a Pomeranian name Skylar. She's only nine months old all black with curly hair. My
My first trip to Disney World, now that, that was a memorable trip. That trip was one of the most magical and happiest memories of my life. It was back in 2008, I had just turned 6 years old a few months before we left to go there. It was summertime, and the weather was perfect. I remember being so bored on the way there because I am an only child so I didn’t have anyone to entertain me besides myself. My mom’s side of the family went on this trip with us, and at the time I was the only grandkid, and the only kid at all. So once we finally were almost there I remember passing the big ‘Welcome to Disney World” sign and being so excited I peed my pants--my mom was pretty mad, but my dad thought it was kinda funny so I didn’t get in too much trouble.
In the 1970’s many major events happened. Some including the first Earth day, Disney World opening, the Beatles breaking up, and so many more things. Michael Jackson, also, started going solo around this time period. Microsoft and Apple came out during the mid-1970’s. Many things that have changed history.
Sustainability to me is a way in which something is conserved in order for others to have an experience with it as well. The definition for sustainability in a dictionary is the ability to continue a defined behavior indefinitely. I was raised respecting the environment around me and how to treat it correctly. I recently visited Memorial Park in Loma Mar, California. I love nature and being in it was great, but, there was something odd about my visit. As I approached a tree I have passed hundreds of times I saw and orange rope around it meaning to stay away from that tree. The tree seemed burned a bit and was surrounded by plastic bottles. The air was fresh but the only thing my nose picked up was of the burning coal on the grills. I felt cool air come past me and once again
I’ve been to Disney World three times in my life. Although all three times were fun, the third one was the most eventful because when I was seven years old I was almost kidnapped at the happiest place on Earth.
Family vacations are a time to escape reality and discover new and exciting activities. For example, on my family vacation to Islamorada in the Florida Keys I was able to snorkel coral reefs for the first time, and witness myself all the exotic fish swimming within the reef. Later, on our trip to St. Croix I was able to scuba dive for the first time in my life, which was breathtaking to say the least. There was so much more to see at forty feet in my diving experiences I have seen sharks, octopi, and lobsters that I would have never had the chance to see from the surface. I was able to swim and breathe underwater which in my mind is simply extraordinary, and this led me to becoming scuba certified over the summer. On my annual family trip
“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” This proverb describes my trip to Walt Disney World with the Anthony Wayne Marching Generals during Thanksgiving break November of 2014. We were some of the over 50,000 people that visit each Disney park every day. During this adventure in my life I had a great time with some of my best friends.
A bucket list is items a person wishes to do before he or she passes away. I have three activities I would like to accomplish on my bucket list: travel to Brazil, go to Disney world, and go to Jerusalem. I am 18 years old; I would like to have these activities accomplished by the age of 35. First, I should be done with my higher education by the age of 24. At the same time I will be working to save money so that I can go on these life trips with my family. I would like first to travel to Brazil with my family, to see the big Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro . I would also hope to watch the world cup 2022 in Rio de Janeiro too, Hike the sugarloaf mountain, Swim at Dunas ge Genipabu, and take a dive in the Georges Rio de Prata . Then I
I would like to start with my Disneyworld work experience. It is a truly a magical place, especially when is someone’s first time working or visiting. I was hired through international student work exchange program in order to experience the American culture and work experience. In the beginning I thought that sooner or later the job will get repetitive and boring, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. I was trained to perform multiple tasks at various locations, with no longer than a couple of hours at one location. Our next duty assignment would come with instructions on a piece of paper. The job became easy and fun for us, since this floating system gave us the opportunity to talk with lots of people and share experiences as we worked. We developed work ethics and a sense of accomplishment. We were dressed in costumes and we were encouraged to entertain and talk to the visitors, which it meant “being in act” (we were
The first day at Disney World my family and I went into the Magic Kingdom, arguably the most iconic place in the world, and rode such rides as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. That enchanting day, I had the chance to dine at the extraordinary Crystal Palace, a Winnie the Pooh themed buffet in the classical Main Street USA. After that exquisite dining experience, we traveled back to the
On Thursday September 21 Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico head on which caused catastrophic damage to the island. But that's not even the worst of it. The next day on Friday, September 22 reports that the Guajataca dam had been broken as a result of the hurricane the previous day. Millions of people are going through what could essentially be the most devastating time of their life. These citizens need all the support and help they can get and that's why if I had a ticket to go anywhere in the world I would go to Puerto Rico.
I treasured it when my parents took me to Disney World. One of my favorite places I visited as a child, as well. One of the things that caught my attention with this rough draft is how you did so well with using transitional phrases. This is something I need to work on and you a really good at using these in this essay. You achieved using the right amount of words as instructed. You also did your MLA format correctly from what I see. The only thing catching my eye would be your title. Keep it the same as your body of the essay. Do not italicize your title. My spelling suggestions would be to change “in to” to “into” in the sentence starting with “My family and I just went...” This is the only thing I saw as far as spelling goes. My Grammar
