Let me start this off by saying that I feel judged every second of every day. But considering you didn’t ask for a narrative of my life, I’ll stick to telling you just one story. About 3 years ago, in mid-July, 2013, I went to Florida. I visited Miami, Orlando, and Tampa. The entire trip was very enjoyable. We visited the Miami zoo, Universal Studios, Sea world, and Disneyworld! All the rides were amazing, and it was a great experience overall. There was something in particular that ruined part of my experience, though. So when I was in Disneyworld, we had walked in the sun, and had to stand in lines all day, ultimately we needed a break. I don’t know if you’ve ever been to Disneyworld, but there, the food court is outside. The food court
When someone does not confess their sins, the guilt of those sins remains on their conscience causing increased internal suffering. However, when those sins are confessed to the public, or even a friend the burden of them tends to lighten. In the novel, The Scarlet Letter, confession is a crucial part of the characters freedom. Dimmesdale and Hester Prynne share the same sin, but differ in the way they deal with it. Throughout the novel, as Dimmesdale's internal struggle of guilt is juxtaposed with Hester Prynne's outward journey towards internal peace, it becomes clear that when sins are confessed, the burden of them tends to lessen.
Our nation’s immigration policy should be clear and cut-throat, meaning that the federal government needs to create policies that can be enforce by law officials without any repercussions or having difficulty of being constitutional. The only reason that America is having difficulty of illegal immigration or immigration overall is because we don’t want to face the public scrutiny that could come of have deportation or “unfair” treatment of the families of the immigrants in America. I believe that America should deport all illegal immigrants however the immigrant that was deported can apply to reinstate themselves back into America. I understand this could be lengthy process, however policy needs to be in place and this is the only way that the federal government can repair this immigration problem. To enable you to understand my point-of-view of immigration policies, you have to understand that this problem that
I remember the first time I went to Disney World; excited and eager like a child on the first day of school. I already had my suitcase packed two weeks before we even left, and that two weeks felt more like two years. The night before we left, I couldn’t sleep. It was like I had nonstop adrenaline rushing through my body. All I could think about were the rides, princesses, and that beautiful beach I’ve seen thousands of pictures of. Finally, after hours and hours of stirring around, I fell asleep.
In the 1970’s many major events happened. Some including the first Earth day, Disney World opening, the Beatles breaking up, and so many more things. Michael Jackson, also, started going solo around this time period. Microsoft and Apple came out during the mid-1970’s. Many things that have changed history.
Beth was an interesting woman to say the least. She was very talkative and had an eccentric personality. She might have been a smidge under the influence on this very normal afternoon but she was still a nice and fun person to talk to. Ashley and Kevin and I got to know her and all about her family all too well sitting at the bar at TGI Friday’s.
The liberal side of the immigration debate supports legal immigration, increasing the number of legal immigrants permitted to enter the U.S. each year, and blanket amnesty for current illegal immigrants. Liberals believe that regardless of how they came to the U.S., illegal immigrants deserve things like U.S. government financial aid for college tuition and visas for spouse/children to come to the U.S. They believe that families shouldn’t be separated and that many illegal immigrants do the jobs that the average American does not want to do (Primeaux). The liberals are also strongly against laws such as Arizona’s SB 1070 and believe that such laws only encourage racial profiling and are unconstitutional.
Do you know what Disney world is, wait of course you do well I am going to tell you all about my favorite place. Keep reading because it is going to get way better. When I am done you are going to want to go there.
The best trip I have ever been on would have to be our first family trip to Florida. I have been on many trips however it was the very first still a lot of my family has seen the ocean,or even left Tennessee. A eight day trip in a beautiful beach house surrounded by family gave us great memories and we go once a year ever since. My dream job would be doing anything that involves helping people I really enjoy having people leave happy. Maybe working in my own restaurant because I love too cook and food usually leave people smiling. There would be good food and Good music as well as kid friendly so, the entire family could enjoy themselves. I have a dog she is a Pomeranian name Skylar. She's only nine months old all black with curly hair. My
During Christmas break my family and I went to Disney World in Florida. It was my first time on a plane and my first time going to Disney World. After a horrible hour long flight to Chicago with my three younger siblings, my parents began to get a little annoyed. So my mom decided to tell us stories about her grandparents. After the layover in Chicago, and the two hour flight to Orlando, we were finally in our hotel room. After a long night with no sleep because of all of our excitement, we got ready and got on our bus on our way to Hollywood Studios, one of the parks in Disney World. While we were on the long bus ride, I became bored. Then I remembered when we were talking about my great grandparents the other day so I asked my mom if she
My first Disney trip was everything I imagined and more. Disney is the most magical place on Earth. Although I was scared to get on all the big rides I still managed to get on. I would stay calm in all of the lines, but whenever I saw I was about to get on the ride I would get the biggest knots in my stomach. On Tower of Terror, I was very close to crying, but I got through it. A very scary ride is Space Mountain. It was like I wanted to start balling out crying, but it was just tears falling out of my eyes. I also hated big drops at the time. The rides with big drops like Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, and Space Mountain made me lose my stomach. My favorite roller coaster is Rockin Roller Coaster. Rockin Roller Coaster is a fast loopy loop ride, but it’s very smooth and easy going. I do not like jerky rides like the primeval whirl that jerks you every which way.
My first trip to Disney World, now that, that was a memorable trip. That trip was one of the most magical and happiest memories of my life. It was back in 2008, I had just turned 6 years old a few months before we left to go there. It was summertime, and the weather was perfect. I remember being so bored on the way there because I am an only child so I didn’t have anyone to entertain me besides myself. My mom’s side of the family went on this trip with us, and at the time I was the only grandkid, and the only kid at all. So once we finally were almost there I remember passing the big ‘Welcome to Disney World” sign and being so excited I peed my pants--my mom was pretty mad, but my dad thought it was kinda funny so I didn’t get in too much trouble.
This is my story of my trip to Disney world. I stayed at Coronado springs and It had a pool. We just got there after Nine hours. Then, we unpacked and went to our room. We Rested and watched T.V. Then we went to the pool. After that We went to the room and went to sleep. The Next day, we got Up early and went to Animal kingdom. We went on many rides Then went to lunch. After that we went to the room and cooled off. Then, we went to go see my older cousin.I was excited to See him because I have not seen him in 5 or six years. We went to dinner to a seafood place. After that, we went to the pool. We came back to our room and took a shower then went to bed. The next day, we got up and went to a place in Disney world and ate breakfast. Then, after that I went to Magic kingdom.
As an 8-year-old child, the worlds scary place. Everywhere you look there’s something terrifying. From people the size of giants, roaming the streets, with no care what so ever with their surroundings or just realizing that in a few years would come the most difficult and emotionally unstable time of my life. Sure, those things may be slightly exaggerated, but what I do know is the most horrendous experience I had in the land of joy that ultimately ruined my love Disney for many years.
“The best things in life are the people we love the places we’ve been…. And the memories we’ve made along the way.” by Unknown. 2017 started off terrible but then soon got better from a little help from God. My family found out we won a trip to Hawaii. My parents were deciding whether or not they should take us kids with, my brothers Chris was 18, Matt was 11, Nic was 8, and I was 15. Then my parents talked and the decided that it would be our last family vacation with just our family saying chris went to college the next year and probably will find a girlfriend. Hawaii I know made me look at life a different was saying everything that just happened to me.
1. It is amiss not to say "Thank You" to someone when they do something nice to you.
