My goal for the past 4 months was to deadlift 405 pounds and today I finally hit that number. I've given a lot of atttention towards this over the past 4 months and spent a lot of time outside the gym studying my videos and trying to perfect my form. It feels great to accomplish something i've failed at so much. And what makes it even sweeter was getting to sharpie it off my list of yearly
Our cultural norms come from books, art, and stories, passed down from ancient times. When one’s sources are biased, then one’s culture and way of life are biased; this is how sexism was created, and how it still exists within our society today. In The Odyssey, Homer’s sexist portrayal descriptions of characters, and powerful diction perpetrates misogynistic gender norms that still influences our actions.

Organizations, groups, churches, etc. all have a vision and mission. As a graduate student, I have come up with a vision and mission statement that are motivational in my success. My vision as a MHA student in graduate education at Belhaven University is to remain curious, creative and a thinker who will remain courageous as I develop the servant leadership knowledge offered, that will allow me the opportunity to be a valuable Healthcare leader who can work both independently and collaboratively. I will face many challenges with an open mind and seek answers and ways to improve the changing arena of Health Care. As a graduate student I would like to expand my knowledge and my discovery of the health
By the end of my senior year, my main priority, like any other senior, is to wear my cap and gown, walk across the stage, and receive my high school diploma. To accomplish this goal, I must continue excelling in school with all A’s and maintaining my diligent study skills. I also need to take as many dual enrollment courses at Clayton State University as possible in order to shorten my time in college. After graduating, the next leading goal is to get accepted into either Emory University or University of Georgia, but preferably Emory. Should Emory accept me, then I definitely need to apply to and receive scholarships like Gates Millennium and Zell Miller, for example. In addition, I desire to preserve my current rank as the salutatorian. Perhaps if I persevere more, then I could possibly graduate as the valedictorian. To do this, I can always study harder and receive tutoring about topics I do not completely comprehend. Also, somewhere along the lines, I hope that can obtain a job as a
Overall Goal: To retire in 2044 with my dream home having obtained a position as a CEO within the period 2024-2030.
Where do I see myself in ten years? Well, i’m probably just graduating from college/Kentucky with a MBA,and being drafted into the NBA. I want to go in the first round near the beginning of the draft.Graduating with a degree in business is important to me because, after my career in the NBA i’ll be able to start my own business. This is an important long term goal because, I'm doing something I would love, and i’d be making enough money to support my mom when she’s too old to work. It brings me joy because i'm doing what I love. When i'm playing basketball I have no other worry in the world. Those are my long term goals.
It is true that the last few months have gone differently than expected because grades went the opposite of what I wanted and getting work down was also hard because of sports getting in the way. Like for example I had goals and many achievements to think about but neither went as planned.I know making choices or decisions can come to be very difficult but I believe I still have to make the best ones that will affect my future tremendously. Another goal that I would like to keep in mind for 2018 is not having arguments with my friends or family because they lead to bad situations that I don’t want to be caught in.Yes arguments can lead to either talking it out and making up for it or it can lead to a disaster and not as you thought it would.Lastly I know I need to improve my grades but in order to do that there would no longer be space for procrastination.
I met both of my goals for the month of October. I was a cat for Halloween. I was a better big sister. I got into fewer fights. I even had fewer excuses. I took responsibility for my actions. I even made 2 batches of brownies.
It is never too late for further education, it was something that I’ve always wanted to do but didn’t have the opportunity when I was young and then the business required much of my attention to ensure it strive and continue to grow in this competitive, complex environment. I’ve taken the approach of lifetime learning to better prepare myself for the challenges that lies ahead. Studying Bachelor of Business Administration will make me become a better leader in broadening my horizon by constructing and deconstructing my views, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors through extensive research and openness to new ideas.
Persistence is the cornerstone to my character and it fuels my passion towards reaching my goals. Each time I am presented with a new challenge in life it is my persistence that assures my success. Everything I have achieved is due to my willingness to press forward. I have always set ambitious goals for myself because I enjoy the process required to attain them. I have found that hidden in the arduous process of attaining challenging goals is the key to developing self-discipline. I am convinced that I would not have achieved everything I have now without cultivating my will-power. Currently, one of my short-term goals include earing exceptional grades for the Fall 2017 semester. I am one semester away from beginning my upper division
My personal goal I would like to divide into different categories First professional goals. My goals for my family. My Retirement goals.
Many people go through life so jambacked with tasks to complete, they forget the most important thing in life is joy. Most likely these people are stressed out and become depressed. In my opinion the best way to live is to stop worrying about life and live in the present. By living in the present I will be able to live a peaceful life. Now that the year 2018 is here, I want to slow down emotionally, physically, spiritually, and have relationships that will make my life enjoyable.
Every business organization strives at expanding. However, expansion requires financial resources. There are two forms of financial resources namely debt and equity. What type of advice would a financial advisor by able to provide to their client. Discuss the advantages and disadvantage of each type of capital raising technique. What information could you provide your client on choosing an investment banker? What are the historical relationships between risk and reward of common stocks versus corporate bonds? I am 54 years old, living the single life. I live in a household with one other adult, and I am a full-time student and currently a part-time employee. Based on my current situation (Older, Single, No Dependent Children), therefore, my financial activities should include making arrangement for long-term health care coverage, develop an estate plan, purchase an appropriate insurance plan, and develop an investment program for retirement. My financial plan goals are Short-term goals,
he decisions I make today are crucial in the construct of my future. In this manner, I have reflected upon the elements that could differentiate my live apart from others. And, essentially, I have realized that it is not only the distinctive life experiences and unique characteristics that distinguish the course of my actions but also the motivation I find for living my life. It was then imperative to ask myself the simple, yet complex question “why?”, because its answer was the core drive behind my thoughts, decisions, and ultimately, my actions. In the process of defining who I am and the purpose there is for my life, I have concluded that the place where my values, interests, and the society’s need of service intersect, is the place where I’m meant to be. This intersection in my life, as I have discerned, is medicine.
