“Live life to the fullest, and focus on the positive.” - Matt Cameron. In my opinion, part of living life to the fullest is being outgoing. This is due to the fact that I am an Extrovert. As an extrovert, I both engage and initiate conversation, I prefer to lead, and I have high energy levels. This is all do to the fact that I am an ENTJ on the Myers Briggs personality test. I am very outgoing person. This is very common for people with my personality type. I classify myself as is an ENTJ on the Myers Briggs personality test. On the Myers Briggs test, each letter represents a characteristic. The one of major focus for this Essay is the E, meaning Extrovert. As you could probably assume, this implies we ENTJs are not afraid to lead. As an ENTJ, I often find myself taking command of a situation, either by self appointment or being selected for it. Obviously nobody is perfect, and I by no means an exception to the rule. A very common problem with Extroverts is our energy levels drop when we are alone. As an Extrovert our brains are wired in a way that group settings energize us, but being alone for too long drains our energy. We often feel anxious, depressed, and tired when we lack social interaction. There are several things that come with being an extrovert. This includes both advantages and disadvantages. I believe extroverts are great at starting conversations and have a natural ability to lead. But be warned not extroverts, this may include a lot of talking in the process. Also as an extrovert we get anxious when we are by ourselves for too long. If you too are an extrovert, don't let this amount of talking discourage you.
