Personal Narrative Draft 4:
In this story I will be talking about the amazing water ride in Universal studios, Singapore. I still remember till this day, how many times I rode that ride. For last 7 years we have been going to a lot of amusement parks like 6 Flags, Disneyland, MGM Studio, Lego Land, Epcot Center,Etc. When me, my mom, my dad, and my sister jumped in the car, I was as ready as can be.
I was very excited when I read the map of Universal Studio. All of a sudden I became greedy and wanted to go to the Harry Potter ride, Transformer ride, Indiana jones ride, Star wars ride, etc. While we did all the rides, me and my Mom were doing some of the scary rides, while my dad and my sister were doing some kid rides. My whole family continues this for hours until we came to the last ride. Splash Mountain. I wish this wasn't the last ride. It looked so awesome and thrilling, I thought. Unfortunately I was correct. Anyways, when we reached the ride location, the waiting-time on the gate read 3 hours!!! Me and my Dad stared at other people go down, screaming, yelling, and getting wet on the HUGE slide. Me and my Dad were tempted to go on that stunning water ride. Weirdly many people were looking at me.
“ Hey. Bro. Your braces are really cool. Where did you

This raft was huge and I was going down a mountain of water!!! Ready to go, I thought. I made it a point that I HAVE to be in the first seats. Me and my Dad rushed but still couldn't get to the first seat. But still, our goal was the first seat. We quickly ran to the manager of the ride and asked him for the first seats. Luckily the people in the first seats had a child who was too small to ride so we had been gifted the front seats. I was soooooo ready to go down huge slides. When we were slowly moving some people started booing. Then I heard some mumbling. I didn’t hear very much but I am pretty sure they said, “ This ride sucks. There was no point waiting so
The first day we got there we just hanged out at the hotel all day. It was 78 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny. It was 8AM in the morning when I saw the pool. Now at first I was very disappointed that it was shutdown because they needed to put chemicals in it. At 11 it finally opened up and I was WOWED. The Pool was amazing. It was sparkling Blue and the water was as clear as glass. That's why we stayed in it all day. The second day we went to Sea World. We hadn't been to Sea World yet until that day where we learned why it's one of the best Disney parks. We entered at the gate where we saw the ride of a lifetime The Manta. The Manta is a ride that makes you go backwards on almost the whole ride. It is the scariest ride I have ever seen. None of my family did that for just that reason. First we went to the Dolphin show which was really cool. It was so cool because the actors and actresses would jump into the water and the Dolphins would come out and do tricks on them like skiing on top of them, and making them wave to the crowd. Then we to another show which is called Shamu. Shamu is a show about Wales that do all these tricks like splash us. I forgot to tell you but Garrett, Chloe, and I were all sitting in the splash zone and we were watching the Wales do all these tricks when the Disney people told us to get ready and Garrett and I didn't have enough time to react and two seconds later all of a sudden we got tsunamified, so soaked that there wasn't a single dry spot on my shirt. After that Chloe started crying and I had to bring her up to mom and dad who were in the last row of the stadium. Chloe was not happy for that part of the trip at Sea World. After both those shows it started raining so we finished up are day at going in a virtual helicopter and seeing all the Penguins and the Arctic Animals which was pretty cool. As soon as we got in the pilot we cranked that baby up until the heat felt like Florida instead of Maine. Speaking of Maine
My cousin and I were heading over to our favorite ride there, the Twirl And Whirl, it was so fun, when we went on that ride it felt like we were flying when we closed our eyes and felt it spin. While we were on the ride my sister and her friend asked if they could go on the roller coaster and our dad said,”Yes, but first let 's wait for this ride to be done so all of us can go.” soon the twirl and whirl ride stopped and we got off and headed towards the roller coaster ride called the bullet, we waited in line for maybe 10 min then got on, I sat next to my dad because it was my first roller coaster ride,”Everyone
Once we got there, I was excited because I always loved all of the rides except roller coasters. When we got inside the park, I wanted to go on the swing ride, but my dad said no. He suggested that we should go on the ride “Medusa”. Guess what! It was a rollercoaster ride. I begged him to not go on it and he eventually convinced me
The wet tiles that were beneath my feet felt cold, and moist. The locker room was filled with the sound of scalding water slapping the tile floor harshly. The room felt hot and humid like a summer day in Florida. I could feel my anxiety burning within me, in the same way a fire burns down a forest. It grows profusely worse as the second hand on the clock above my locker ticks away. I quickly changed into my swim trunks, and crept into the swimming area with fear and anticipation. I tiptoed my way down the stairs that led into the pool. I could feel the brisk water slowly creep up my leg as I forced myself deeper and deeper. I was on my way to my mother who was going to try and teach me how to do a back float. I remember tipping
This all started with my parent’s brilliant idea to take me to Disney World. As any 8-year-old would have reacted to such amazing news, I completely lost it. To my memory, I think I might have just turned the house upside down, literally making the clean family room into a war zone. And of course, I had to brag to all my friends at school of this amazing trip I had the opportunity to go on. I was so ecstatic that every night I crossed off the days left until the trip. After what had felt like an eternity, we headed to the airport to fly to Orlando.
The summers of 2013, I went to Cedar Point. It was me, my brother, my mom, dad, and my dad’s friend. My dad said, “we are going to get on all of us the roller coasters” and the rest of us said “ok.”
In the book, A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park so much has happened and it makes the reader recognize that individuals are able to survive in challenging environments in remarkable ways. The character Salva has been through the Civil War for years and in the book, it says “More than Twelve hundred boys arrived safely. It took them a year and a half,”(Page eighty-two). Salva lost his uncle and after that, he left alive and he felt like a leader. He soon then became a leader and somehow led a gigantic group of boys to a camp for over a year. It is crazy how these boy is surviving these hot environments. In the book, it also says on page seventy-seven “Then Salva saw the telltale flick of a crocodile’s tail as it flopped into the water near
It was the day my family and I were going to Six Flags Over TEXAS.I love that place I go there all the time on my birthday. I love going on all the rides except the huge rides that can give you a heart attack like the Superman ride that can go about 80 miles an hour , the scary rides like the Joker that twists and turns and goes upside down , and the twisty rides like Catwoman whip P.S. don't go on it after you just ate.I only go on the rides that I know I won't fall off and break any of my bones.I know I’m a very safe person.
The day before returning, we went to Six Flags, it was a nice experience for me because it was the first time that I being in a big park like that. At the entrance I take pictures with my teammates. When we were heading to one of the lines to enter in one of the roller-coaster it was a long line, I think we spend like an hour trying get into the roller-coaster. I do not even know that a part of that park it was a water park, so I do not bring my swim-suit but I still get wet no matter
One summer day in July , Me and my friend Carol went to an amusement park called Cedar Point . Cedar Point is located in Sandusky , Ohio and two and a half hours away . My mom and me wanted to go on a ride called the Maverick . The Maverick is Cedar Point’s steepest roller coaster and its speed is 70 miles per hour . The Maverick also has a 95 degree drop ! Then we went in line and waited for about an hour and a half . It was about eleven o'clock when we got close to the front of the line . When we finally got to the roller coaster I regretted going on because it was very dark and I couldn't see where the drop was and I don’t like steep roller coasters . Because of that me and Carol where panicking the whole way up . As soon as we got to the
When we got to the park, my brother and sister went directly to one of the highest roller coasters. They were so pumped up while I was terrified to death. After thinking it through, I decided to skip the first ride and maybe all the other ones too. They just papered so gigantic, noisy and intimidating like a beast.
I remember a time in my life not too long ago when my family and I went white water rafting for the first time. We had been spending some of our summer vacation at a cabin in the Smokey Mountains, close to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The next day we would experience feelings of exhilarating excitement, with a sense of suspense and anticipation as we rafted down the Nantahala River.
Like it was yesterday I remember my first vacation on a cruise. My Dad and I went on a three- day long cruise to The Bahamas. I had never been on a cruise, so it was a new experience for me. We needed to be in Tampa for our departure, so we drove the two hours from Orlando, Florida to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My Dad and I used this time to talk, make plans for the trip and think about our upcoming adventures on the cruise.
Our family has rules set that say you have to be 10 years of age or older to go on our Canada family fishing trip. At our family gatherings I hear so many stories of how many fish that they caught. I am filled with anticipation to go with them and catch some of those great big fish. I have dreamed of the day now it is here I am ready to go, my bags were packed, the boat all clean and off we went.
Then, my family and I went to Hershey Park as a birthday gift for me. At the entrance, I saw an enormous light blue and bright yellow water slide that almost looked like half of a tornado. It was a really hot day, the temperature was almost 87 degrees. We walked over to the water section, and I was amazed how big it was, It was like a pool with water slides for gods. My brother told me right away, “We must go on that slide,” and that was the moment I knew I would go on that gigantic water slide, I was relieved because I desperately needed a something to refresh myself, and I was scared. When I was waiting in-line I went up so many stairs, which took a while. Finally, I was where the slide started, My brother’s back was facing the slide and I was facing the slide on the tube. “Shahan, are you ready? ” My brother asked me,
