Last night, I was awaken by a horrendous noise. I spied out the foggy window to see what was the problem. When I saw what was going on I couldn’t believe my eyes.I saw Red Chief breaking into someone's house trying to steal someone’s cat food. When he climbed out of the brown rusty window he came to my house to steal my bicycle.Thump! Red Chief had just fallen from my steps, so I ran down to the front door and chase him with a broom stick to petrify him away. When he saw me he ran as fast as a cheetah and had went into my barn where the cows were. He tumbled through the hay and tried to run, but I caught him before he could run again. I asked him, “ why did you steal my bike.” Red Chief said, I needed a transportation to get to my brother
We were trapped in a house. There were redcoats surrounding the house. All we had was a bayonet and a knife. John was almost dead. He might as well be dead, having been stabbed, shot 3 times and attacked by rabbits (Don’t ask). John pointed out the window and said, “Look”.
Ponyboy says “ we are going to stay here, to tell them this is our territory.” I was scared, “ but they are drunk” I said. Then they came close to us, we tried running away, then they caught Ponyboy, they were drowning him. They were going to kill Ponyboy. I said “ let him go.” Then I got

I was riding my horse, in bad conditioned weather, it was raining and snowing with a little bit of ice on the ground. I was just minding my own business then I hear 3 bells the first one is a little loud, the second one was medium loud, and the third one was extremely loud. I started panicking and so I tied my horses reign to the hitch. I started panicking everyone was riding in their wagon trying to get home, but I stopped to see what was going on in then I see John with a musket and I tell everyone to go home and lock their doors because this wasn’t going to end well. I went up to him and asked him, “what are you doing man, what is wrong with you, why are you doing this?” He replied and said, “I don’t know.” Then I said, “what do you mean?” he replied and said, “I don’t know what is wrong with me I think I need to go see a doctor because I don’t feel right at all I don’t even own this
To begin, the movie and the book are alike in some ways but also extremely different. The movie and the book had the same aspects but were played out differently. For example, the book states that Sam, Bill, and Johnny are staying in a cave but in the movie they seem to have just taken camp on the side of a mountain road. The movie and book also were at crossroads when neither Sam nor Bill fit the description given in the book. The book and movie were alike in the way red chief scalped Bill and even how Bill sent Red Chief home. All in all, the book and movie had their similarities but also their differences.
I am inquiring about any possible positions you may have available at Camp Red Frog in Chicago. I’ve routinely checked the job postings on the website for around a year, because I wanted to get a head start while I was still in college to see the requirements. Most job postings appeared to require multiple years of experience within the respective field. As a recent graduate from the University of Delaware this spring, I currently do not have the necessary years of experience. However, I am committed to this company for all it has given to me, and was curious if there were any other possible employment possibilities? I noticed on the webpage for job listings it mentions there are internships and temp positions offered as well. I am signed up for job alerts from Red Frog, but have not seen a listing for either of those opportunities. Is there a way I may apply for one of those positions, or are there any openings for fulltime work without the experience requirement? I am hoping to get my foot in the door, and hopefully begin working towards a career with Red Frog.
“The Battle of the Little Bighorn, also known as Custer's Last Stand and, by the Indians involved, as the Battle of the Greasy Grass, was an armed engagement between combined forces of Lakota, Northern Cheyenne and Arapaho people against the 7th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army. The battle, which occurred on June 25 and 26, 1876 near the Little Bighorn River in eastern Montana Territory, was the most famous action of the Great Sioux War of 1876.”i Was this battle led by a courageous General or a desperate man is search of being seen as an American hero by the eyes of America?
The United States Government and the “Natives” were engaged in many battles over the years. One of those battles was the Battle of Little Big Horn or commonly known as Custer's Last Stand. The Battle little Big Horn took place at the little big horn river (now Montana) in 1876 with Lt. Col. George Custer against Crazy Horse and the Lakota, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho tribes. According to Janiskee (2011) “268 Soldiers and attached personnel of the Seventh Cavalry” and “About 100 Indians” (para.7) were killed in the fight. Another famous battle United States Government and the “Natives” was the Battle of Fallen Timbers.

It was a lovely Summer morning, the 14th of July in 1903. I was 12 years old and I felt as though it was up to me to change things in my small, traditional world. I remember the day in much detail. I remember the smell of fresh biscuits on the breakfast table, the taste of sweet berry jam on my lips, the sound of a newspaper crunching and shuffling in my father’s hands, the small drop of sweat on the back of my neck due to not just to the summer heat, but also to my long and thick layers of clothing. One detail in particular stands out the most in my mind when I return to this old memory.: Tthe spot of red from blood on my mother’s white collar, dripping from her split lip.
When I was in elementary school, there were three people I was fascinated with: Ludwig van Beethoven, Adolf Hitler, and Abraham Lincoln. Beethoven’s music and personal story enthralled me,and I was striving to understand the appeal of the Fuhrer to those he led to comply with evil, but Abraham Lincoln was my hero. He freed the slaves, he was honest, seemed like an all-around great guy, and was tragically assassinated. I latched onto him because he was one of the greats; his decisions and actions really changed lives of Americans and the course of the nation as a whole. This was truer than I was aware of at age ten. Being fascinated with all the presidents, although Lincoln always had a special place in my heart, I talked about them all the
Chief Wahoo, a logo of the Cleveland Indians, Major League Baseball team. Chief Wahoo, pertains to a cartoon logo that is shown to exemplify a Native American like figure. Like many other logos that indirectly represents Native Americans, people believe that Chief Wahoo is a racist figure and should be changed and not be represented. Although, others may disagree on the matter. Which brings forth the question of, is Cleveland Indians’ Chief Wahoo considered derogatory and racist?
In 2014 I had just started my senior year of high school. I was eighteen with great grades and captain of the colorguard. One would think that I was responsible with everything in my life. A huge responsibility that I took on was the privilege to drive. My license was freshly laminated, and I was ready to get out and experience one of the first steps of adulthood. Soon I realized that glancing down at my phone for just a split second could have changed everything.
The Civil War officially started in 1861, yet problems between the North and the South date back as far as the early 1830s. The North was infuriated over slavery after a woman by the name of Harriet Beecher Stowe published her book Uncle Tom's Cabin. Stowe's book analyzed the life of a slave in an astonishing and realistic way. It caused many people to join the Union. Then the war began in July of 1861 when a Confederate army met with a Federal army at Manassen, Virginia. Many battles were fought until finally the north was victorious. Slavery was abolished, and the federal government's power was set as supreme power over all the land.
The Red Badge of Courage is told from the perspective of Henry Fleming, a young farm boy who, seeking glory, enlisted in the union army during the cCivil Wwar. The story tells about his experiences and changes before and during the first battle. There are only two other characters in the book that stand out, Wilson and Jim.
