Bella reached for the girl, but she couldn’t make sense of the world past the cracks of her sunglasses. Crimson blood was everywhere, on Bella’s shirt and pants and the red flesh of her open arm. As part of assessment of the older adult and other population’s module, I have been asked to write a piece on a person centred care model. As the name implies person centred care is delivering individualised care which meets the needs of that particular person, be they religious, emotional, physiological needs etc. As a person they are entitled to respect, dignity, compassion and autonomy, which are central to the concept of person centred care. ”The rights of individuals as persons is the driving force behind person centred healthcare” (McCormack, 2003). In 1991, the UN made explicit the Principles for Older Persons; these include independence, participation, care, self-fulfilment and dignity. These principles are closely

Keeping patients safe is essential in today’s health care system, but patient safety events that violate that safety are increasing each year. Her eyes fluttered open and rested upon the figure in front of her, her bloodstained hand opened to welcome them. Hesitantly they reached out to grasp her hand, the blood seeping into their white linen glove. She gave them a smile and proceeded to lead them further into the temple.

I am of the opinion that a practitioner would be remiss, and therefore would commit a disservice to clients without offering integrative care. In other words, I do support an integrative approach. All too often society references, or calls upon "specialists" who offer "expert" opinion based solely on textbook material and case study.
A foot long piece of crunchy garlic bread leaves a buttery sent in the air that makes a long strand of drool fall carelessly from my mouth. When I bite in the crunchy sound fills my ears and the salty taste leaves me longing for more. The yellow 9 pound bowling ball rolls fast down the wood lane and smashing into the pins, knocking 8 of them over. I use a long skinny putter to hit the bright green golf ball down the walkway lined with green cloth and into the small hole at the other end. He bumps into my kart and races past me leaving a strong gust of wind as if I was standing in front of an airplanes turbine rushing through my hair. Trying new places and experiencing new adventures becomes our favorite labor of
We were on our way to the fair! Driving along the bumpy road feeling the strong and powerful breeze in our face. On our way there the sky was full of beautiful colors from the sunset like yellow, red, orange, and pink. The colors filled in the color of the white clouds. Stars were starting to come out while we heard the frogs, crickets, and the beeping from the horns of cars. When we arrived at the fair we could already smell the fries from the concession stands. While we were walking up the steep green hill we were confronted by screams and laughs of joy.
