Personal Narrative Outline
While we were at a loss of words, we were unaware that a man was at a loss for air just a short distance away from us. The mighty waves made it difficult to see if there were people in the water, but the panicking crowd staring intently made it evident that something was wrong. After further examination we were able to spot two men struggling for life in the unforgiving waters while dozens of people watched in shock. None of us knew what to do in this situation, so we did the one thing that we knew how to do; pray.
Tobermory, is located in the Bruce Peninsula of Ontario. Its aqua waters and breathtaking views have made it a natural tourist attraction. This past summer I set out to Tobermory with six friends accompanied with a thirst for exploration and adventure. We had all heard of the rocks and cliffs that towered over the ocean-like water. We had all vicariously lived through the pictures that people had posted on social media as well as the travel articles that we had read. But now, it was our turn to bask in the surreal view that Tobermory had to offer.
After a short hike on a forested pathway we emerged at the top of a cliff that overlooked Georgian Bay. The bright colour of the water, the coniferous trees scattered along the rocks that add a sprinkle of green, and the rocks towering over the water.
