“Run!” My voice disappeared in the chorus of deafening screaming. The forces of evil (F.O.E) finally found the water planet Washyyyk. We thought we could hide forever, but we were wrong. They came to drain our land. Many people thought that there was no way they could take our water, but they were incorrect again. Jane, Melissa and I, Aqua Tiger, ran to our full extent to escape being killed. Before this happened, we had made a vow. We had said that we wouldn't leave each other's side no matter what. What Jane and Melissa didn't know is that I am here by myself. No one else mattered except for me. I was the lone wolf. When I was five, my parents were murdered by a group of people called the F.O.E. They slaughtered them …show more content…
It was the most painful thing I had felt in my life. It felt like being set on fire and then left to burn. I knew immediately that my arm was broken. He turned around, suddenly noticing that Jane was awake. He brought the bat closer, but I couldn't bear to watch it. We had been through so much lately. What is this feeling, I thought. Did I care about her? Yes. Yes I did. “No!”, I screamed. Suddenly a blue aura outlined my body. What is this new power, I thought. The pain in my arm stopped, and I pushed against the ropes. There was a blue flash, and they turned to water. I ran at the person, fist first, but I wasn't going to hit him like that. I stopped, focused my energy, and before the man knew what was happening, he got nailed in the chest with 100 pounds of ice cold water. He fell backwards and passed out. I took Jane and Melissa out of their bindings and we ran. The F.O.E trailed behind, but with a swift jerk of my hand, water came up from the land and drowned them. We kept running until we reached our hometown. This is it, I thought. I walked over to the sea, put my hands up, and water started pouring into the vast expanse of liquid. After three hours and lots of energy, I had completely refilled the planet with the water stolen by the F.O.E. I had, no we had saved the world. Three years later, Jane and I married. We had a child that had powers of flight. In the end, I finally

Early one morning I was very hungry waterso, I went looking for food. When suddenly I saw something strange above the Waters point so I jumped right into the action and said you go up to the top of the water when it started attacking me with spears and oars obviously I attacked back I mean I was scared and that's when two of the boats sank and most of the humans drowned. But, one of them escaped so i just let
I came to a halt. My hands were bloodied and bruised. I finally let out the tears, and it wasn’t because of the pain I inflicted on my hands. It was realisation of losing my friend. Maybe we would have been more than that, even- if he was alive. I heaved, I whimpered, I couldn’t breathe. I yelled in agony, my fists didn’t hurt like how my heart
Sharon M. Draper in the suspenseful novel, Tears of a Tiger, illustrates the depression that goes on inside of a person when losing a loved one or friend. Draper supports her theme by illustrating what goes on through the mind of the protagonist, Andy Jackson, and what led him to committing his suicidal actions. The author’s purpose is to raise awareness of how the loss of someone close can lead to multiple scenarios. Survivors tend to blame themselves for what happened and may become depressed and often suicidal.
Several yells broke out across the room, the loudest of those were my own. I was on fire. Literally. The flames worked their way from my fingertips, reaching my shoulders. Breaking free from the grasp of the armoured men, I ran toward the exit. Water, I need
“Fine,” she looked up as a man with a scar running down his cheek smiled sinisterly. She didn’t trust him, she moved to try to get out of his reach but he pulled his arm out. Her eyes widened in horror as his fist came forward, she had stopped crying, watching the fist as if it was coming at her slowly. When it hit her face she barely registered it, it didn’t hurt, only stung and sent a shock through her body. Another fist came, then another. Her vision was going blurry, she heard them say something but she couldn’t make out what it was as her body fell limp against the seat and her eyes shut, unable to handle the pain in her
It was a bright day in Key Largo when I first arrived in Ocean Reef during the summer. Seeing the beige guard gate with green palm trees surrounding it at the entrance of this prestigious club reminded me of all the good times I have had there. My mom swiped our membership card and speeded off into the club with excitement. The car, speeding, turning, and almost crashing had made it to the golf cart rental station in one piece, where we rented a cart. This cart was freedom. Finally, I could embark on my journey and meet up with friends I had not seen in what felt like months. My cart made it to the “Raw Bar,” a restaurant known to all the club members at Ocean Reef. Before I got off my cart, I could already smell the fresh and salty tuna sashimi
My throat tightened when I thought of Margaret now, the pain she had been through, how I had helped her heal, but how Andrés had more. Frank’s mouth hung open, his eyebrows raised, his comment justified in his world. I stepped towards Frank and pushed my index finger into his hard chest.
Kristien was struggling to sleep. It was night, she knew, because Israel had told her good night. Her wrist hurt really badly, but what could she do, she was a prisoner. It wouldn’t hurt as much if the cuff wasn’t pressing on it, but the cuff was, and she couldn’t move the cuff, it was secure. She knew what had happened. Chandrogana had accidentally hurt her wrist, but she didn’t know if it was just twisted, sprained or broken. By the time the doctor came to see her, her eyes were watering, it hurt so badly. The doctor came in, and didn’t say a word to Kristien. Just went to the panel in the wall. He scanned his handprint, and then typed in instructions. The one cuff on her hurting wrist, the left one, uncuffed, and Kristien felt a little bit of relief. But it was still very, very painful.
It had been twelve days since the accident, and with every minute that had passes Jordan thinks he’s getting closer to losing his mind. His chest had constricted when he had seen her limp, doll-like form stretched out on the operating table, the beep of the machine the only thing giving any sign of her still living. The doctors’ faces had been grim, telling him that she had a chance, but it was a slim
I muttered swear words under my breath as I finally made it into the doors of work. Usually I'm never late, but I got caught up with an excellent argumentative article on tiger sharks.
Ever since I was a kid I have enjoyed fishing. Fishing relaxes my mind and allows me to get away from the stress of the real world. From the cool breeze around the lake to the fishes nibbling away at the bait, it’s all just very relaxing. There was one day where I caught more fish than I had ever caught before. The entire day had been going my way. My boss called me and gave me the day off and that alone is a good way to start your day. After getting the day off I was able to get a few extra hours of sleep. Being able to sleep in allowed me to get the some rest that I had not been able to get for a few weeks. After getting my well-deserved rest I decided to go to the pet store to get some fish bait. Fishing was not my original plan for that day but since I was able to get the day off and I didn’t have any other plans I was able to plan to do one of my favorite things.
They were going to try to drown us. At first, I was scared. I didn’t want my friends, family, or myself to drown. But, then I thought; there are 64 billion of us and only 400 of them so we can’t lose. I was wrong. The ditch was deeper than we thought and ants started drowning and dying. We tried using the bodies of the deceased as rafts so we could stay afloat. Some of our army made it over but not enough. We tried using the bodies of the deceased as rafts so we could stay afloat. Then the water started to move faster and faster. A lot of men were lost because of this. It was then we realized that this wasn’t going to work. We then retreated to come up with a plan. Major Antenna and Commander Antonio decided that we were going to find leaves. Not to eat, but to use as boats. We then set off to get what we came for. As we got on our boats to cross the ditch the water started to lower, making it easier to cross. Quickly, we started getting across. But, to our dismay, one of Leiningen’s men lifted up the dam, causing the ditch to fill up again and killing more of our army. But, little by little, more of the army made it across. Then, I finally made it over and started crawling towards the wall. I noticed that we were stepping in some type of thick liquid when all of a sudden BOOM! There was a large, fiery explosion that blasted me backwards past the ditch and onto some of the crawling ants. Aching with
Meanwhile, Nick, Russ, Ron, and I was walking through the towering jungle that was our backyard. Suddenly, we heard liquid missiles falling from the sky. BOOM!! We all started running faster than a cheetah. Large drops of water, the size of automobiles, were coming from above. While we were running, I slipped and fell in this slimy muddy lake.
I headed out to the water after setting up my towel. The shock of the frigid water took my breath away and I was momentarily stunned. However, I quickly recovered; finding my body adjusts rapidly to the cold water. I waded a few feet into it before leaning forward and swimming out. I didn't dare to go too far though, instead turning to swim parallel to the shore. I was comforted by the sounds of the ocean; the rhythmic pounding of the waves represses all of my worries. I looked into the cloudless cerulean blue sky and see the perfection of life. Just when I was starting to get tired and wanted to go back to the shore, I saw something.
