Narrative Essay: The Loss Of Robinson's Life

The Robinson family has lost everything. Looking for a fresh start, the family of six board a ship bound for Australia, only to find themselves in the midst of a horrific storm. Now lost at sea they can hear the cries of the ship’s crew. Only concerned for themselves the crew begs for God’s mercy. After six days of an intense storm, the ship crashes, now sinking, thinking only of themselves they leave the family behind. The Robinson family’s strong faith in God will be the only thing that gets them through. One by one they kneel down praying not for God’s mercy or for deliverance but for His will. If he takes one, let him take us all.

Surrounded by new things they begin exploring. They found many plants and animals not found anywhere else in the world. Mr. Robinson started recording these plants and animals in his diary to keep track of the many wonderful things. One day as they were out in about the dogs started barking at something. They found what the dogs were barking at, but it was to late for them to stop the dogs from killing two monkeys. The dogs left a baby monkey an or phone, which they adopted. They called the little monkey “knips”. One day Fritz asked Mr. Robinson if he could go and check out the other islands and if Earnest could come along. Mr. Robinson allowed Fritz and Earnest to leave since they were old enough to venture on their own. So they packed their things and left to check out the other islands. They had checked out all the islands but one and as they were they say someone she yelled and shot at them but they got her anyway. They asked her for her name which was “Jenny Montrose”. They had been gone for weeks and on their way back they found a zebra. The freed it and tamed it a couple days later they returned on Christmas …show more content…

The next day they set out to blow up the ship and to get the remaining supplies, when suddenly a pirate ship appeared! They got some powder and a cannon ball ready to shoot at them, but Mr. Robinson left, but Fritz and earnest still waited to shoot suddenly the pirate ship turned around! They wandered what happened when Mr. Robinson showed them that he put up a flag that represented that pirates should not come close. The next day they had a race and as they were racing Jenny’s animal ran to the shore and she saw the pirate ship. It was close to the shore so they got their traps ready to fire. The pirates came ashore and charged at them and as they were on the bridge the family pulled the string and it fell. The pirates pressed on so Mr. Robinson released the boulders, tree limbs, coconut bombs, and some fell in the tiger hole, this drove the pirates away. The captain had them climb the mountain so they could get them from behind, but it failed so the pirates were going to leave when suddenly a ship appeared and captured them. It was Jenny’s father. So Jenny got on the ship and so did Fritz and Earnest but Mr. and Mrs. Robinson stayed on the island because it was their home
