The year 4847, StarCore47 was working desperately for a attempt to find four Kyper ores, from planet Gliese 4-36B. The command cruiser Fire Part just blasted off the planet's biggest Island, when suddenly “BAM!.” Therefore are story beginnings with four brave souls.
“Jackson, get over here!”
“What's wrong commander?” replied Jackson
“Our stabilizer was just hit by a force more powerful than god himself!”
“Commander Gray, we just lost our bluming engine!” exclaimed Jerek.
“Dang it, prepare all troops for battle were being boarded!” Gray commanded.
“By who?” a young private gasped.
“The Retaliators,” Gray stated.
It was a battle know one could ever forget, but first let me explain who the Retaliators are, and why they are called the Retaliators.

“ I don't know where 4000ft underwater, it's fake let's just get this compressor and go, hey guys stop breathing on my back, just a moment if you guys are there, then who's behind me, it's the Leviathan isn't it,” Haden averred, “Get to the submarines!”
Subsequently It was the size of two empire state buildings we got into the submarines. It was paddling the speed of light. We were in the darkest depths of the ocean, with horrifying creatures, Kowalski nearly passed out. Soon after a few minutes of piloting I started to talk. “Come on Bettsey don't fail me now,” Tom declared. “We forgot the compressor!” Mya and Kowalski yelled furiously. “I got it,” Haden squealed when the ship got hit by one of the Leviathan’s tentacles. “Hello is anyone there,” said a mysterious voice,”This is officer Jackson.”
“Jackson you're alive, are you at the base?” Tom questionably asked.
“Yes I am, we are in your ship I’m here with some of the crew, and soldiers,”
“Ready the ship we have the compressor,”Tom
Let’s examine the short story of “Killings” by Andre Dubus. The story begins on a warm August day with the burial of Matt and Ruth Fowler’s youngest son Frank. Frank was only twenty-one: “twenty-one years, eight months, and four days” (Dubus, “Killings” 107). Attending the funeral were Matt, his wife Ruth, their eldest son Steve, his wife, their middle daughter Cathleen and her husband. Frank was buried in a cemetery on a hill in Massachusetts overlooking the Merrimack. Across from the cemetery is an “apple orchard with symmetrically planted trees going up a hill” (107), a symbol of how nice and serene the cemetery actually is and the peace Frank now has. Matt’s family is extremely distraught over the murder of their youngest
Often, simple physical conflicts are used to develop characters and to increase the suspense and action between them. In J.D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye, Holden Caulfield the 16-year-old narrator and protagonist claims to be a pacifist. Holden views the world as an evil and corrupt place where there is no peace. As a sincere person living amongst phonies, he views others as completely immoral and unscrupulous. In the novel violence is used to further develop Holden's character. This is shown through his physical conflict with Stradlater, his conflict with Maurice, and the suicide of James Castle.
They soon discovered the submarines bow planes were buried; the bow tanks full of sand. The propellers were torn off, steering gear ruined, stern tanks flooded, and all the hatches were desperately jammed.

Do two wrongs ever make a right? Or as Zits contemplates in the novel Flight, “Is revenge a circle inside a circle inside a circle?” (77). In Flight, written by Sherman Alexie, the main character, a troubled Native American teenager named Zits, travels through time and different bodies while learning about many different things that pertain to and can help him in his own life such as revenge, trauma, violence, forgiveness, family, and betrayal. A scene in the middle of the novel where Zits is in the body of a young boy at the Battle of the Little Bighorn reveals to the reader (and Zits) one of the things that had the biggest effect on Zits-revenge. Zits sees in this scene how revenge in general, and his personal revenge by shooting the people in the bank, just cause more pain as taking revenge just leads to more revenge.
Have you ever thought that the possibility exists that inanimate objects are in fact “plotting against people” in an effort to make our lives even more difficult than they actually are? In “The Plot against People,” Russell Baker, a newspaper columnist and humorist, adopts a wry view of the world in which he gives inanimate objects mischievous aims. As a class assignment, I was called upon to write my own version in the style of Baker.
In this day and age the term “murder” is coined as a word used in everyday language, albeit fifty years ago in the [rural] heartland of America, that word evoked emotion out of the entire town’s population. Prior to writing In Cold Blood, Truman Capote had written several pieces that lead him to writing a piece of literature that would infuse fiction and nonfiction, thus In Cold Blood was created, albeit after six years of research (“Truman” 84). "Truman Capote is one of the more fascinating figures on the American literary landscape, being one of the country's few writers to cross the border between celebrity and literary acclaim…He contributed both to fiction and nonfiction literary genres and redefined what it meant to join the

The history of the Western hemisphere is full of war and conquest. One of the most significant and defining of those conquests is the downfall of the Mexica/Aztec Empire. While there are many other events to choose from, this one stands out since it was one over one of the largest empires in Central America. It is also important to look at because of the immense cultural impact it had. The story of this takeover reads like a movie script, a small band of Spaniards single handedly takes down the most powerful empire in Central America. It was an epic battle, which unfortunately led to the destruction of a magnificent culture. As in any major historical event there are many underlying themes and storylines

2a) Describe the differences between the fascist Norsefire government’s and V’s anarchist view of a “healthy country.” How do Norsefire and V define the role of the government and the role of the citizen differently?
Revenge as a theme is cleverly built upon throughout Hamlet; with it being the driving force behind three of the key characters in the play. Revenge is a frighteningly vicious emotion, which causes people to act blindly and without reason. In Poe’s, “The Cask of Amontillado”, Montresor enacts revenge for reasons unknown. Hamlet in contrast, has all the motive in the world to complete his task; yet he constantly hesitates. The text reveals that the need for revenge creates a stranglehold on the genuine emotions, thoughts, and actions of three characters: Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, Laertes; son of Polonius, and Fortinbras; Prince of Norway. This hold makes the characters act beyond their standard ethical positions and makes them helpless to
The sub crews like a herd of monkeys rushes out from the tower hatch quickly and drop the weapons, and the two six-limbs men have not enough time to search their bodies one by one. The nine foot tall conning tower has a pair of wings stretch out from the middle, and the submarine hull with the radius of nine feet, there is a three feet wide flat path over the hull for the people to walk. Thus the crews climb down to the starboard wing edge and jump down to the shore, some crews sprint a few steps on the pathway and jump to the shore. There are six-limbs men on the shore pointing at them with long laser guns. The last man comes out of the tower's hatch is the pilot, the captain on the shore throws himself on the floor immediately, his crews
“The hearts and mind (HAM) theory is identified as winning the hearts and minds of the population which is a technique based on the implementation of the counter-insurgency (COIN) strategy of persuading the population to support the government and reject the insurgents.” The counter-insurgency (COIN) strategy as outlined by President Obama and General Petraeus’s most closely embrace is the heart and minds (HAM) theory. President Obama speech identified the United States strategic approach with Afghanistan in three elements. The three core elements addressed by President Obama during his speech on the strategy in Afghanistan are identified as: 1) utilize the military effort to create conditions for transition, 2) a civilian surge that
