There are many different learning styles, but I’m an auditory learner. To start off with, making sure I listen is very helpful. By getting my ears checked often. It can help in the future. To continue with, reading out loud helps. By just reading out loud helps me be a better reader.Even reading test questions can help me better understand what the question is asking. Additionally, sitting close to the board help so I can hear more clearly. By sitting closer to the teacher I can improve on more things. All in all, now that I know my style I can become a better learner.

I managed to fail a few of my test due to failing to study the day before. My teacher where outraged and kept me for tutoring to try and bring my grades up. That was a tough time for me back then since I was always bullied at school. I was so ashamed in myself that set a goal to get commended in one of my 5th grade STAAR test. I began to focus more on subjects I was most confused in such as math. I came to every day tutoring was held, and I managed to arrive early in the morning to work on homework that was due late. Weeks and weeks of doing homework and sleep deprivation only managed to get me to a 70-82 in the weekly tests given during the time. I soon began
From doing the Learning Style Inventory, I learned that I learn better when I write things down and when I have a visual of the information I am learning. For my writing style way of learning, I found I should take notes. When the professors give us notes I should write them in my hand writing. I just need to be able to read my notes because I write so fast some times.
Whether you believe learning styles are a myth or fact they still can help you learn the material for class. Just because you take this test online and it says that you are one hundred percent auditory learner doesn’t mean you can’t learn other ways. Learning styles can help you discover more creative ways for you to remember a topic or specific details. How Amy made a poster it helped her present her topic but also helped her learn and remember her topic. By writing it down and being creative you will remember the topic a lot better. I’m not a firm believer in learning styles but I do think that they can help. I am an auditory learner so listening helps me learn although it isn’t the only way I can learn. One of the ken talks we had watched
I am a mixed learner and surprised about it too, my scores on the test were 50% auditory, 10% visual, and 40% tactile. To be an auditory learner I use sounds and have a hard time remembering things if they were not spoken aloud in some way. I am a talker that sings and hums to myself when I get bored or nervous, though I am paying attention or understanding what is being said, it does not seems as I am. There are many ways in helping bring out my learning style. These include sitting where I can hear, read out loud and have things read out loud to me such as tests and questions I do not understand or use flashcards to practice new words or the questions, also being read aloud. Being
In continuing my research, an auditory learner is the opposite of a tactile learner. Students who use the style of auditory learning tend to learn by hearing and listening. To compare, the tactile learner should feel a “pat on the back” for feedback, but for an auditory learner they listen to feedback about their work. I am nowhere near an auditory learner; however, my friends can apply their auditory learning style to participate in a job interview or preform a public speech without being nervous or worried. Auditory learners are confident when they speak. Auditory learners use their style the best when someone is talking about something of importance. They take all the knowledge they heard and recite it back to themselves when needed. For
I am an auditory learner because to learn I have my friends (or flashcards, when alone) quiz me. I enjoy talking problems out with myself or with friends and family willing to listen. I also enjoy listening
It is an important factor for me to know that I am an auditory learner because I like to say what I have learned aloud. For me becoming a teacher and being an auditory learner will serve as an advantage because I will be able to communicate what I want to teach to my students in a way that is understandable to them due to the fact that I am used to explaining things in simpler terms to grasp a better concept. As a teacher it is also important to know the learning styles of your students so that they can able to understand what you are trying to teach them. Teachers should be able to distinguish which learning style is better for their classrooms and which students require different types of methods of teaching in order for them to
According to the site educationplanner.org there is three major categories for learning styles, which is auditory, visual and tactile. I had to undergo a 20 question test to see which one of the three is my primary learning style.
I learn best by actually finding something interesting or fun to learn about. I do not really learn by writing things down because sometimes you write something down and it is way more different than the real subject. Listening does not not help me learn also because I daydream a lot and then I do not pay attention to what is being read. Looking at pictures does a bit of the job because it helps you see things and then you will memorize them. Looking at pictures is a better way for me to learn because it is more easier to just see the pictures memorize them and then just go along with the next things. Writing things also helps me learn a bit more by just having at least relocatable notes that will help you with something later on. Sometimes I work fast and slow in my classes, it sometimes depends on how I am feeling because if I am feeling down then I do not feel like doing no work at all and if I am feeling energetic or happy i do my work and i do it very well.
Later that day, after the worst day of school ever was over, Isabella climbed into her car and headed to the coffee shop. She ordered her coffee and so did Samantha. The two girls then went and sat down.
The Education Planner learning style quiz identified myself as a auditory learner in which I do agree. I constantly find myself speaking or reading out loud in my head the words that I type and or write down. I prefer to watch informational clips or videos instead of reading manuals or books that describe the information.
As a read and write learner, I like taking notes in class and I read over these notes or copy them out. I take my time to study at my own pace and in a quiet environment, I love studying ahead of time to gather and collect all the information needed to understand and also learn a new task to achieve new skills I require. When I’m listening to a lecture for instance, I like to take notes, make bullet points for my reading, and I also turn illustrations into words and check the dictionary for word meanings for me to understand when I study. I check out information in library, textbooks and handouts for better
My preferred learning style is auditory. I can use mnemonic devices, such as flash cards with audio to my advantage in school. The repetition of the flash cards would help me in science where there is lots of information to remember. Reading the information, text, stories, assignments, out loud would help me to fully understand the context. I can also read my drafting work out loud, so that it is less likely to miss any errors. During class, I can ask my teacher more questions or to explain certain concepts.
Auditory learners retain new information best by hearing it. They to read out loud and will listen to a lecture rather than reading the text. They prefer the speaking on the phone than face-to-face conversation. They are easily distracted by noises. Auditory learners are not able to color coordinate their clothes, but they can explain what they are wearing and why.
