“ Hey stop you two! Stop fighting or else!” Mr. Miller demanded across the hall. You might be asking some questions to yourself like “ What’s going on?” , “How did this happen?”, or “ Who’s fighting who?’. Well I’ll rewind a couple of minutes back and let you catch up. “ Another amazing day at West Willow High,” I mutter to myself. Yes I, Blake Ryder, talks to herself because she has no friends. The reason why you may ask? I am the school’s punching bag. I get beaten up on the daily; I don’t know why but, I do. Sure I tried to stand up to them but, that just went downhill from there. “ Hello nerd! You ready for the daily races or do you finally get you can’t out run me?” and that, my audience, is the school's bully. Give it up for Ethan Ridgewood! I just whimper and close my eyes waiting for the impact of his fist but, it never came. I open my eyes to see a tall boy with a red head of hair. I'm pretty sure you know what happened next. Now you’re all caught up. The boy I don't know, I presume, is a new kid. Who's fighting Ethan in the middle of the school hallway because of me, I think. The boys get separated from each by the teacher and a few peers. As soon as the fight stopped the crowd dispersed. Before I can react I'm alone on the hallway, once again, but, the new kid with me. “ Hi I'm Grayson! I hope you’re okay, “ Grayson stuck out his hand at me gesturing to shake it. I shook his index finger and said, “ Thank you Grayson and yes I'm okay. Well
Almost twenty minutes had passed since Epsilon, Sabra and Malessica left the pub. Malessica was a bit upset thinking about innocent people who were hurt during the attack on the pub. Though she knew she didn’t have time to help the injured, she decided to try and forget about it, continuing to follow Epsilon. Malessica noticed Sabra, seemed a bit lost in thought, but she didn’t say a word. Moving towards an unknown destination, four police cars sped down the street past them, with sirens blaring. Malessica put her hands on her hood, covering her ears, waiting for the cars to pass them. Epsilon turned his head back, watching the police cars. He was upset knowing he wouldn’t be able to work there again.
I have known this boy since I was four and I have always been too afraid to stand up to him when he was bullying one of my friends or me. A batch of courage came across me, I stood up for my castmate and I let my directors know what had been going on backstage. Even though I do not remember what I said to the bully, I remember the passion and fear that I felt when standing up against him. I could have stayed silent like the others, but I knew what was right in my heart and had the desire to
Bullying has been engrained in American society since the country’s founding. Bred from a capitalistic economy and competitive social hierarchy, bullying has remained a relevant issue through the years. A thorough analysis of various case studies, statistical research, law cases, and news articles was conducted to understand the issue of bullying and to find preventative measures that should be taken. The purpose of this paper will be to analyze the different rhetorical situations of numerous texts concerning bullying in school systems and understanding their relationships in that aspect.

“Hey I just want to explain-” he punched me again. All I wanted to say was I was trying to help you during the test. But I never got the words out because we kept on fighting. Cassie and Little Man ran over and grabbed Stacey away from me but she was trying to break free at keep on attacking me but she couldn’t. Right when they went outside Mr. Morrison picked them up and left. I was just left there crying and eventually I started to stop crying and I got up and walked
Not many people are on August’s team, and some is not even in the fight. Jack’s mom told Jack to be nice to August because he was really nice and then Jack smiled. Julian punched Jack, and August tried to help. Jack and August found notes in their lockers, and Julian got sent up to the office because he was the one who put the notes in the locker. Mr. Tushman and the superintendent was talking to Julian and his parents.
According to the article “Tales of Bullying,” students can become a bad bully because you might have your own group of friends you want to impress or try to show off for, or you might have something going on at home. According to paragraph 3 in “Meet the New Sheriff” kids may get bullied because of their hair and/or what they wear. All around the wonderful world good kids are ending their own good lives over bullying. David was confronted by anohter student in the hallway. David then got into a shoving match with the student. Another student jumped in between David and the student. David and the other student then began their own shoving match. David was escorted away by a teacher, but then did a quick spin move to break away from the teacher and began to go back after the other student after being told to stop. He squared up to the other student until he was pulled into a classroom away from the other
Right in front of me was a young boy, he mustn't have been much older than 6. Blood spilt from his nose and the corners of his mouth. It caked as as it mixed with the dirt and mud settiling over the porbably still warm body. A few tears jercked and dropped but still, I stood defiantly.
One day in the 4th grade after school we had to ride the bus back to the elementary, and that’s when it began. Alex. I was scared of him, being a 4th grader and him a 5th grader I was scared. 180 days that bus ride got longer and longer everyday. I feared for my life to talk. Time passed and we are now sophomores and juniors and I walk into LA 10 and there he is. 5’3, short guy with black hair, one headphone in, and gages. I froze. I was begging in my head I wouldn’t sit by him. Mr. Wright grumbled we would have assigned seats and to stand along the wall and it started. I was hot, shaking and almost sweating that I would not sit by him. Courtney, Molly, Devon, Zach everyone got eliminated one by one. Brooke, I hear, I thought I was okay then I heard Alex. My heart
Girls perch on the tables like exotic birds gossiping and giggling, a football fly’s above their heads between two jocks in varsity jackets parading their toned muscles. Groups of high schoolers sit around the room laughing. Weekend has arrived and the hallways of the school were filled with tons of kids ready to go home. Every ear filled with the sound of multiple conversations going off at once, lockers opening and closing, music blasting without. I had managed to push past the constant stream of children and to the school field. The grass was damp and covered in a thin layer of frost. As I walked my footprints were embedded, leaving a piece of me in the cold ground. I saw my friends faraway chattering and fooling around. I was stuck in the wrong crowd; they are nothing like me but somehow I am still friends with them. I slowly made my way up to my “so called friends”.
Good Morning/Afternoon fellow class mates, the issue that I have come to share and talk about with you today is Bullying. It is all around us, everyone bullies, no matter what you think or have done, you’ve most likely bullied someone.
Bullying, in its many forms, is becoming an extremely hazardous problem that many individuals endure. Bullies torment others because they themselves have insecurities, have been bullied themselves, or have a mental illness that brings out the worst in them. Nevertheless, bullying can physically and emotionally destroy the victim, whether it is by physical abuse, cyber bullying, or verbal abuse.
Specific Purpose: To persuade people to stop the bullying and help the people that are dealing with it.
It’s just a few minutes before lunch, the class sitting in the portable, finger tapping on the wood with great anticipation for the call to the savage room of eating. A few of the teacher’s pupils are playing on their phones, while others are having conversation (which was to be kept quiet, according to the teacher grading test papers, the clicks of his pen out of rhythm with the drumming digits of his class). Bored, one boy takes the ever infamous “selfie”. “Dude,” a classmate next to him speaks up, having a small giggle, “that’s really gay.”
