What Does NASA Do? NASA does many things. NASA makes satellites. The satellites offer researchers some assistance with learning more about Earth. NASA sends tests out into space. NASA researchers study things in the close planetary system, and much more remote away. Another project will send people to investigate space rocks, Mars and past. Individuals at NASA take a shot at approaches to improve air go for everybody on Earth, as well. Individuals at NASA likewise impart the things they figure out how to others. This can improve life on Earth.
NASA states on their website “To reach for new heights and reveal the unknown so that what we do and learn will benefit all humankind. To do that, thousands of people have been working around the world -- and off of it -- for more than 50 years, trying to answer some basic questions. What's out there in space? How do we get there? What will we find? What can we learn there, or learn just by trying to get there, and all this will make life better here on Earth.” NASA’s vision is for the good. They want what is best for Earth and they want to advance Earth’s

NASA has been around for 50 years, and they already sent over 200 missions into space. Each mission has its own discoveries and its own flaws. They all changed the way we look at our solar system, galaxy, and the universe. Some of them were successful and some were not. These missions have helped NASA a lot. Curiosity, Apollo 11, and Hubble have helped the world by discovering new things, making spinoffs, and successfully completing their mission.
NASA is one of the largest organizations in the world. Although we see it everywhere, most of us take NASA completely for granted. Yet, we are still obliviant of the fact that NASA is a main reason why we can enjoy things like quick and safe plane rides, the internet,
For many years, the United States has accomplished many great scientific and technological progress in air and space. NASA has been shown to be one of the leading representatives of these accomplishments and remains a leading force in the research and public interest of space exploration, as well as science
Mustika Wijaya English 102 Elisabeth Greer March 26, 2015 Politics over Science On January 28, 1986, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) launched the space shuttle Challenger. The launch was held in Cape Canaveral, Florida, at the Kennedy Space Center. The Challenger shuttle carried seven crew members, including pilots, aerospace engineers and a citizen. Unfortunately, after it launched, the space shuttle broke apart and hit the ocean. The failure of the mission traumatized the whole nation. In fact, millions of people watched the shocking tragedy on television. This incident saddened the nation, and President Ronald Reagan appointed some persons from different areas, such as engineers, pilots, politicians and astronauts, to find the cause of this disaster. Although the investigation revealed that the main reason for the disaster was because of technical issues. In actuality, the disaster was caused by the decision to launch, which was driven by political pressures. The focus on political interest over hard science was the reason for the Challenger disaster.
National Aeronautics and Space Administration The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) was designed on the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), as the locus of U.S.civil aerospace research and development. NASA was officially established on October 1, 1958 , the creation was directed to the pressure of national defense. NASA is responsible for important scientific and technology accomplishments in human aerospace science that have impacted our nation and/or world all across the board. The founder of this great corporation was our 34th President of the United States the honorable Dwight D. Eisenhower. During the Cold war ,which was a combat over theories and faithfulness of separate nations, in the middle of it there was a major battle of space exploration known as the Space Race between the Soviets and United States of America. Like every other corporation, NASA had a mission which was “to pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research.”and the motto states “For the benefit of All” both mission and motto are correlative to each other.
National aeronautics and space administration, this is the complicated way of saying NASA. NASA was created by government officials in the year 1958, the main goal of this government establishment is to explore space and aeronautics. Although those are the main goals the main responsibility of NASA is to conduct
NASA stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration. NASA is a United States government agency that is responsible for science and technology related to air space. Space age started in 1957 with the launch of the Soviet satellite Sputnik and NASA was created in 1958. NASA was created to oversee U.S. space exploration and aeronautics research. NASA’s purpose today is to reach for new heights and reveal the unknown so that what we do and learn will benefit all humankind. NASA mainly sends astronauts to orbit conduct scientific research, and many other things help scientists today better understand space. Satellites help scientists learn more about Earth and pace probes study the solar system and beyond that. Today NASA is working
N.A.S.A stands for the “National Aeronautics and Space Administration”. The space program was founded in 1958 and has accomplished many great feats and has an enriching history. The program was started “to provide for research into the problems of flight within and outside the Earth's atmosphere and for other purposes”. Since then, NASA has created a successful human spaceflight program. The history of NASA has many main points such as its space program, the involvement and development of the John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and the world-changing research from missions and collected that helps us understand our world and beyond. Amiko K. (July 6th, 2010). NASA history. http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/history/nasa_history.htm . First and foremost, for many NASA has had a very successful space program, which has impacted the way, we see the world and our views towards space.
NASA has to spend at least five hundred million dollars per launch in space. They do quite a bit of experiments in space, and have mission on mars and the moon. They made the International space station, and made quite a few rockets and planes to send to space and
Some scientists thought that they had found evidence of life on Mars in the past. However, the evidence found was dead fossilized bacteria that was some 3.6 billion years old on a meteor from Mars that struck Antarctica. Scientists conclude that this meteor was from Mars because it contained traces of the Martian atmosphere. Small round objects that looked like bacteria on Earth along with molecules and minerals made from the bacteria were discovered by scientists. In addition, it is believed that water may have been on Mars which scientists believe is necessary for life. Pictures of Mars shows dried up lake beds, past floods and old river channels. However, scientists are yet to confirm if there really was water on Mars in the past but are sure that there is no water on the surface of Mars right
History of Mars Current evidence suggests that Mars was a planet similar to Earth, which has inspired many different beliefs today. Currently, on Mars there are seven active probes searching for information about the planet’s environment. The two Exploration probes search for different types of rocks and soil, which could potentially hold clues on Mars’ water activity, while the Curiosity rover is searching for signs whether or not Mars is or was suitable for life. Each of the seven probes work together to answer the question “did life or water once exist on the red planet?”
Today the world now knows for sure, that water flows on Mars. Hydrated minerals on slopes of Mars were found on mysterious streaks of land using a MRO. These streaks appear to flow down slopes during warm season and then fade when the temperature drops. This is the first substantial evidence to support that there is water on Mars. I think that this is really cool because I still believe that on day we will have to live on Mars one day. I don't necessarily want to in my lifetime, but I still think it would be very cool none-the-less.
