National Honors Society Research Paper

Acceptance into the National Honor Society of Petrides would be a great honor for me. The National Honor Society in Petrides will allow me to connect with likeminded people in the school who have portrayed similar scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship as I have. I have shown my leadership qualities through school events and volunteer work. Service to the school is one of biggest focus of the National Honor Society which I have always been content to participate in. The three amazing years at Petrides, I have served the school by aiding and tutoring students that have needed help academically; while participating in school events and teams showing school pride.

If chosen, I feel I could make the National Junior Honor Society a better organization by tutoring those who need help in particular subjects that I’m good at. Additionally, I would recommend that we have a cultural club where students from different cultures can teach us about their cultures and way of life. Also, I would encourage my peers to give ideas on making this program more fun and creative.I would plan many activities for my peers including field trips to popular destinations. Throughout my high school career at Wahconah Regional High School, I have done, and continue to keep doing many activities in order to help my community. In addition I have made various accomplishments in many different areas. I should be inducted into the National Honor Society because of how my accomplishments and community activities prove how I fit into the four pillars, service, leadership, character and scholarship.

Thank you for this National Honor Society opportunity. I feel extremely privileged. And, I think my qualifications include strong work ethic, drive, a high standard of academic integrity, and a calling to service and leadership in my community.

I understand what kinds of students are needed in this organization. In order to meet the request, I tried my best to stand up in the areas of scholarship, leadership, character and service. For academy, I am a passionate student who likes facing challenges. I maintain a G.P.A of 4.0 for two years, and became the top 2 students in my Biology, Algebra II, ESL, Honor Pre-calculus classes. I am also a math purple team member and attended the state math competition.

I would like to become a National Honor Society member because I believe it will open me up to several opportunities in my community and denote all the hard work and effort I have put into my school.

I believe I should be chosen for membership into the National Honor Society for many reasons. First, I try my hardest in school and take my academics very seriously. I spend a lot of time on homework because I like to go over and make sure I understand the subject in depth. When signing up for classes, I try to pick classes that will challenge me and also classes that I think may help me in the future with my career. Before tests, I study extra on that subject so I am prepared for whatever we are tested on. There are certain subjects I struggle with more than others, so I just spend more time on learning that subject. Overall, I enjoy academics because it pushes me to do my best.

The National Honors Society boasts of members with significant academic accomplishments, selfless hours of community service, and strong leadership capabilities as a representative of the school’s excellence. Becoming a member of the National Honors Society is a prestigious honor. As a student, I strive for excellence in my academics and have made the honor roll every quarter, showing my aim and dedication to reaching my highest potential. I try not to compete with other students, but with myself. My academics are the result of my hard work, and my dedication towards grades correlates to the dedication I have towards becoming a leader and a role model for the community.

I am very happy and honored to be a part of the students who are being considered for the National Honor Society. Since the beginning of my freshman year, I have been attempting to fulfill the requirements in order to join because I believe that this organization does great things for society, and that its role in our society today corresponds well with my personality and beliefs. Through the National Honor Society, I believe I can make the most of my efforts to help others by developing the skills I already have and also explore new ones so that I can help better our society. In my academic career, I believe I have shown great levels of academic achievement, leadership, character and service that would qualify to join.

I believe that I would be an asset to National Honors Society due to the many characteristics I portray daily. Growing up I’ve always been taught to be honest, diligent and dedicated to every aspects of my life; whether it be academics, extracurricular activities, or hobbies. I am a natural leader, yet I am very open to collaboration. I stay prompt and organized in all of my pursuits. I strive to be the trustworthy person whom others aspire to be.

I am deeply honored to be among the exceptional students who are being considered for the National Honor’s Society. I have to admit this is something I have been looking forward to since the beginning career. I truly believe that this organization has accomplished great things in this community, and I would like to play a part a further the impact this is made. I like to think that I earned this honor and this prospect because i have tried my hardest to be here.

My nomination for membership into the National Honors Society has been an honor. The hard work I have been inputting into high school has not been unrecognized. This brings too light that I have achieve my goals to do my best in anything big or little, and to stand out among my peers.

I want to be in the National Honors Society because of the cool t-shirts. Not only because I think they look cool, but because of what they represent. The t-shirts are a symbol of NHS. The people in the t-shirts are part of a small group of students in the Rangeview community who value success and leadership. I want to wear and be one of the names on the back of the NHS t-shirts. I also want to be able to do more volunteering through NHS because it is difficult to find volunteer opportunities.I am committed to success, community and my future and I hope to join an organization that has the same values. I want to be involved in more clubs and activities this year. NHS is one of the best clubs at Rangeview; I hope I can be a part of it this

My name is Cora McDaniel, and I want to be our next Student President. There are a lot of issues in our school that I would work with administration to fix. Overcrowded buses, no string backpacks, and people forgetting their lunches and not eating are all big problems that Crestwood has. I, as Student President, would be able to work with administration in order to fix these problems, along with any others that might occur later in the year.

If elected the position, I would like to improve the student pride and student involvement on campus. Being a freshman in college is a challenging experience and circumstances may come up, which is why being involved on campus can give any student that extra support system. Also, UNCC is continuously growing and becoming greater and greater, so we need to show Niner Pride to match the expansion!
